It's terrible service. My son moved into apartment and cat's fur/hair still on rug's and filter not changed. My son had allergies and went to office asking for Maintenance to change air filter. The lady in office so rude and unhelpful. She did not help him. She didn't care. Fee charge for everything and you don't ever get your deposit back because they want rugs shampoo and house cleaning done when you move out. They keep your deposit even when you leave apartment clean and say they need new carpet since you didn't shampoo rug. This Summer Winds apartments leave gate's open and my son's car and neighbor's car, were both stolen in same day ???? terrible service, swimming pools, over crowded with green water in spa tub. Pool water so dirty.

Laziest apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. Also the most expensive which is sad. The unit I moved into had rotting/leaking faucets, broken outlets, broken dryer machine, cupboards are water damaged and look awful. Dog park was closed for almost a month due to there not being a lock. Before that it was open with no lock Since before I moved in. Basketball hoops aren’t here, hot tub is never open, pool is extremely foggy. Very disappointing.

Location. Location. Location. You just absolutely cannot beat it, especially for the price! Very reasonable, utilities and additional expenses are very fair and transparent. Mary Ann and Rebekah were full of energy and information and helped me out tremendously. 10/10 RECOMMEND.

We stayed at Summer Winds for approximately 2 1/2 years. Moved from Cali for a job opportunity and this place stuck out from the rest. Location was great, rent was good for a 2 bed 2 bath, and the community here was nice and quiet. My neighbors and all the staff were very kind to my family. Thank you for a very homie place while we stayed in Las Vegas!
I must in all honesty say, I love the layout. I am downstairs and have really nice flooring, carpets are only in the bedrooms. The kitchen is a bit small, but the salon is a comfortable size. The office staff is very Nice and helpful. The maintinence workers are on top of things as best they can. The location is great, if I had young kids i wouldn't move here, more of an adult place. Very close to the strip, busing. there really isn't anything for the kids to do here. The property is very clean, grounds are well kept, pools are nice, love the gym. The only problem I had with the property was the nightmare with my stove, where it was a health hazzard, it kept blowing up, They did try to fix it. It needed to be replaced..Which they finally did after they found out there was no grounding wire. I was told the Ovation properties did not want to replace it. Which to me is a bit dangerous.
This is the perfect apartment, it's right on the Las Vegas Strip but far enough for it to make it feel like my own private oasis in this party town. I have never felt safer or more at home than I have here at Summer Winds Apartments and my dog loves it too!
i believe a good apartment should give you quick access to just about anything location wise. Aside from having your own dishwasher, patio, and washer/dryer, summer winds apts puts you close by your everyday needs. it is strategically within walking distance of the smith's supermarket plaza; which also contains a gas station, pharmacy, starbucks coffee, and a couple of fast food places if you want a quick bite to eat. Another 2 minutes away puts you right at the las vegas outlet mall for all your fashion needs. summer winds has a community pool with jacuzzi and a fitness center. i live in a 1 bedroom, which has 2 closets; 1 of which is a walk-in. i'm very comfortable here; i've been here since december 2008, and i would recommend it to anyone
When I moved out of my parents house in 2010 I was very nervous to move into my own place but the staff at Summer Winds made my transition easy and affordable. They moved me in on a timely manner and the apartment I am renting was clean with all appliances working. The apartment has vinyl wood floors throughout (with the exception of bedrooms, carpet) which is a dream because I hate carpet. Maintenence team keeps the apartment complex super clean are friendly. The best part of all is that all my neighbors are pretty quiet, which wad a huge concern of mine moving into the first floor. Honestly can say that I've been happy living here at summer winds.
