I am finally done living here although Shelley and Don were wonderful (they’re both gone now). Garage issues were never addressed. Please be advised that the garages have chains, not belts, so they are super noisy and shake the bedroom floor, especially if you live in the 2nd floor Amelia plan. I have had 4 different downstairs neighbors who opened and closed their garage door repeatedly during the week nights - 1am to 3am. Front gate has not been repaired for 5 weeks now... Vendors are cheap and perform poor work. I would def reconsider living here since it most likely will take more than 4 years to get issues resolved, even if you are a loyal tenant. Just an FYI, most reviews with a 5 have been because Dontania and Shelley were wonderful about taking care of the residents. Neither are there now.

Its a quiet place to live but dont put in a work order its takes them a month to complete a simple task

I tried to actually figure out a fault about this town home. Unfortunately, I couldn't reason any. The professionalism from their staffs is just excellent. The maintenance staff are friendly and respond to your issues almost immediately. The environment is so quite, you will hardly see pets or people outside just anyhow. I really love this place. I will recommend here to anyone that needs a peaceful environment

This is an excellent community of quiet, orderly long term tenants who treat the property like they are homes. The attached garages provide an unparalleled aspect of safety, and the management, engineering and property services are top notch. This doesn't feel like an apartment community - it feels like a home.

Best maintenance I have ever had at any apartment. Management staff seriously cares about every tenant. If RTH put in Comcast as a supplier, they would be the best complex in all of Westchase.

ZERO RATING I am writing this review because I feel that the manager and the corporate office have no compassion at all. I am a tenant at Richmond Townhomes. I have stage V lung cancer. I relocated to Houston TX a year ago so that I could attend MD Anderson Cancer Center for treatments. The issue is that I have a family member who is my primary caregiver, I discussed the details of the family member's background check (background check has a minor felony) before I signed the lease. My lease expires this July, management and corporate has informed me that I cannot renew my lease because of my caregiver's background check which they already knew about. I told my doctor about having to moved, he stated that I am in no condition to go thru that and gave me a letter addressed to Richmond Towne Homes stating my medical issues. The letter was given to management and corporate office yesterday, corporate told me that they wanted the letter signed my by doctor and not the nurse's signature. They made it seem like the letter is not true!!!!! Management knows every single time that I have been hospitalized and that I'm on oxygen home oxygen round the clock. They have increased my stress level so much, I use to give them excellent reviews but now they don't even deserve a zero. I will let God or whom ever they worship handle their judgement from here on.

When something does need fixed, they are always there in a timely fashion to fix it and are very nice.

We lived here before and then we had to leave for two years but came back because we really like the ambiance at Richmond Towne Homes. We’ve been back since early 2016 and have seen lots of works and improvements being done. We just renewed our lease for another year and I’m so glad we did! Over the years, we saw different management people and we had a good service but I have to say this: the current management team with Michelle and Dontania is BY FAR the best we’ve ever had here! They are very helpful and professional, always nice and so pleasant to deal with! I hope they will stay!! The maintenance crew is also doing a very good job and now with Johnny in charge, I don’t know how it could get any better. But there are other reasons why we chose to stay at Richmond Towne Homes: The ATTACHED GARAGES are a big plus. Lots of storage room with the walk-in closets and garage. Bathrooms have garden tubs which I like and the kitchens have stainless steal appliances. I also love the beautiful POOL with its multiple water streams that sound like waterfalls and its night lights. The pool and pool area are always kept clean. The many lounge chairs with tables are new. There are also nice modern barbecue grills and tables with parasols. The landscaping is very well taken care of by professionals with a variety of floral arrangements, trees and ornamental shrubs. We really feel safe here, especially since they upgraded the gate system with a new technology and hired security patrols. The outdoor lighting has been also improved along with the addition of security cameras. The place is very quiet at night. They have a very good drainage system here! For that reason, we were not affected in any way by hurricane Harvey's flooding. In the peak of the torrential rains, the highest level the waters reached was about the the the height of the curbs. So we’re happy to stay at Richmond Towne Homes and we highly recommend this place!

I visited this apartment looking for an apartment. The staff was extremely nice. This is an amazing property, I will definite be leasing at Richmond Town Home.

This place is extremely overpriced, tons of hidden fees at move-in, and a copious amount of random charges at move-out. We had chronic small-roach infestation more than half the time we lived there. We repeatedly told them and they would send someone to "sprits" pesticide here and there. They did finally send someone to professionally take care of it after many complaints. The infestation was still not resolved. I cleaned every single day, never left food or trash out, and nothing got better. CHRONIC Roach problems, not only in our unit either. One of my friends who is also our neighbor complained of it and even moved to a new unit. The place had numerous leaks that had been patched, cracks in the wall that had been painted over. The road noise and sirens were super annoying, night and day. If your bedroom widow is above a garage be prepared to here it every time your neighbor opens it. The insulation is terrible, be prepared to pay a ton for electrical bills, year around. (seriously, we tried to conserve energy as much as we could, we work more than 8 hours and day and always leave the air at a decent level, and every light bill was over $100 for our one bedroom unit). Honestly the rent is a equivalent to a decent mortgage, and not worth it. There are newer better places in the same area for a lot less.

I love living here!! As the other reviews mentioned, it is VERY QUIET! I rarely see/hear any of my neighbors unless there's a "resident social" going on in the clubhouse. I'm 27 years old, and the residents are of diverse ages and ethnic backgrounds which I appreciate. I currently have the 1 bed/1 bath with a study. I love that each apartment has an attached garage, you know that comes in handy for the rainy season. The ONLY reason that I have considered moving is because I need to upgrade to a two bedroom, and there aren't any available in my time frame. The residents are generally happy living here, and with that being said no one ever wants to move out. Not even me :)

The complex is Quiet with residents of varied ages and ethnicities. The management and maintenance staff really care about the property, it's not just part of a sales script. When my air conditioner quit on a Sunday and the parts to repair it couldn't be bought until Monday, they brought in a portable air conditioner.

Pretty good deal for the price - you'd pay the same for an apartment 1/3 the size and without an attached garage if you were inside the loop. Noise is rarely an issue, and you're close to the beltway/Westheimer, not to mention a TON of different restaurants. Been here about 6 months and still haven't tried them all. I work in the Galleria and it never takes more than 30 minutes to get to work. The drawbacks: it's an old apartment that's had a ton of renovations done to it. You can sometimes tell that it's trying to be hipper than it is. I'd give the renovations a C to B- in effort and quality. The price and space and PRIVACY you get is worth it in my opinion. Overall a solid bang for your buck!
