honestly I rlly like Eighteen25 Downtown. Their concierge service actually does service and if you service request something, they get it fixed in at most 5 business days. Their amenities are really good and leasing office people are all friendly and communicative. (They are really bad at answering calls, but they reply really fast via email.) The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is when I first moved in the bathroom sink gave a weird smell and shower head was broken. I feel like they should've had them fixed before I moved in. Also, when moving in, I had to delay my move in date because there was a system error and I wasn't able to get the room that I wanted. Thankfully, there was another room available with the same plan. But, that means their system and communications were really bad. So, just keep in mind you will really have a hard time processing your application online. But, once it gets approved, you will love the community :)

Great apartment in the Downtown area; nice public space with luxury lounges, kitchen, and swimming pool; all well-maintained. The staff are also very helpful. The room itself is big, with a high ceiling and a balcony; overall, a mostly positive experience.

Nice community but area around freight and regular elevators need cleaning. Hallway carpet needs addressing. Office staff is very pleasant to deal with and other areas of property are nice

The location is prime. Apartment is spacious. Amenities are nice. Gym is good, though people misuse the Pelotons. The grills in the courtyard are great, but upstairs they're terrible. Lots of maintenance requests but they're usually fixed quickly and the maintenance team is great. Some neighbors aren't respectful of common areas. Foul smelling trash is left in the hallway or on the trash room floor instead of in the chute. Someone even dropped their dog waste right into the chute with no bag and it got stuck right at the top. Neighbors leave their balcony door open without securing it, so the door slams into the balcony railing reverberating through the entire floor. Water pressure in the showers is terrible and takes forever to get hot. Washing machine smells perpetually like mildew, despite multiple cleaning attempts. The amount of storage space is unbeatable and I love the gas stove, but the fire alarms are sensitive. Hopeful for the upcoming improvements to the property.

Eighteen25 is by far the best place I’ve lived in Houston, and I’ve lived a lot of places. Mainly what has kept me here for going on 3 years now is the leasing staff. Sharifa and Karl demonstrate daily that they really care about the resident experience and have always been incredibly helpful, even with the little things like locating a package! Also, the maintenance team quickly responds to requests I’ve made and are very knowledgeable and professional. The cleanliness of the building is something I’ve never seen and the spacious units are very nice and do not seem lived in. On top of that, I don’t know what kind of insulation they used but I cannot hear my neighbors ever! Major plus. One more thing I’ll add is that I appreciate the resident events they have almost every month - it’s incredibly thoughtful and a fun way to meet your neighbors. I could go on and on…Hands down, best place I’ve lived. If you’re on the fence, just MOVE HERE!

The apartment complex is great for the most part - I really only have two complaints. The freight elevator got trashed pretty quickly after being re-done last year, as a majority of the flooring in there is already coming up, and the rooftop pool is not tended to. It can look relatively dirty at times, and there is not even a net out there for us to use to clean the floating debris out of the pool if we wanted to. These are simple issues, but for what I pay to live in the building I would prefer that they be addressed. Aside from those two concerns, I do enjoy living here at Eighteen25 and I think it is a great place to live in downtown Houston!

The staff is nice, and overall, the unit is nice. I wish I had a heads-up about the church bells. I also wish EV users had a chat forum to communicate with each other.

I like the place because the moment you enter the apartment, it smells good and everything is clean. The staffs are super accommodating and well trained to entertain the resident’s needs.

They have great amenities and I can’t wait for the summer on the Roof Top Pool with the best view of Houston’s Skyline. Beautiful property, the pool is amazing on the rooftop and has an awesome view! Staff is super friendly and maintenance is top tier! Some of the residents don’t respect the property as they should, so that is a downside. But I believe that can happen anywhere you live. But I’ve enjoyed my time here and I love my apartment! The concrete floors are perfect for my dogs and also helps minimize sound from neighbors.

Staff is great. Cleanliness of carpets in hallways could be better as well as cleanliness of pools during the summer days. Noise can be a bit much with the neighbors at times but that could be an issue at any apartment.

Love the staff and interior of apt but floors in hallway elevators and parking garage just aren’t as clean as they need to be and should be. Carpet in hallways need to be taken up and threw away, residents sit trash out there and all the traffic from coming indoors, not to mention has seen dog poop in hallway which after being removed carpet WAS NOT CLEANED ! Hope carpet being removed is something highly considered for future upgrades. Also the cleanliness of hallways elevators and parking areas need to be addressed. Cleaning lady never cleans elevator buttons or floor of freight elevator and I frequently see the individual on the phone by her cart and elevator and the hallways are nasty along with the buttons you have to press to get on elevator. Carpet never has been cleaned and should at the least be vacuumed daily. Nice complex staff and interior of apts are nice inside. These are issues that need to be addressed and would only make it better.

A few days after move in: I’m definitely looking forward to enjoying the amenities and resident events here. My only critique is that my entire unit had a strong odor upon move in. This is something I brought up while touring the unit, in hopes that it would be resolved in the weeks before move in. It is apparent that previous tenants smoked in this unit and all it would have taken was a little extra attention to clear that smell out. A deodorizer, leaving doors windows open for a few days, vinegar spritz, repainting, cleaning walls and ceiling, replacement and cleaning of ventilation. I would’ve even appreciated a starter kit of odor eliminators, at the least. As a “luxury apartment” this is pretty annoying, not to mention a health hazard. With that said, I don’t want this to define my experience here. Maintenance is responsive and came to assist in resolving this. Hope this becomes a 5 star through my lease term.

My experience has been great so far! The staff is friendly and available to answer questions. The cleaning staff is amazing! And the amenities are so relaxing and convenient. The views from the pool are wonderful and the apartments are very spacious. It is easy to receive deliveries as well and the work from home sky deck is very convenient.

Great place to live staff is friendly, great location and amenities and also very safe. 10/10 The only con is the rent price it is very expensive, other than no complaints. I've been here for 18 months my lease is up in 5 months I might consider renewing.

I love living here, I’ve been here for 10 months and intend on renewing my lease. Some of the pros are the gym, location, the high ceilings, the pool and view from the pool are very nice. Some areas of improvement are the dog park, and the pool and gym could use some minor improvements but overall I love living here and would highly recommend.

So far this place is amazing. The amenities are so nice and the staff is super friendly. Everything was very clean when I moved in. The views of downtown are spectacular (especially from the pool) and the location is ideal. I can walk to the House of Blues and Toyota center within 10 minutes. There are also several good restaurants within walking distance.
