2929 Weslayan

Love apartment, location and view. Staff is attentive and quick to address repairs. Nice mix of residents from age, and ethnicity. Parking is efficient and hassle free. Floor plan offers bonus layout for bathroom/powder room combo and larger walk in closet. Only downside I see is hallway common areas on floor lack AC and carries high amount of humidity which in return makes its way into apt. I have rectified for most part purchasing two humidifiers to draw out excessive moisture. I do understand Greystar is working to address this matter….

Love the pool vibes with a beautiful skyline view! I am also an active guy, the gym has all the machine and weight that I need with also a panoramic view

Meghan, Nour & the maintenance, concierge & valet team have doen an excellent job for the residences. It can be seen in the quality of work & they are more approachable to any issues. However, I would like to comment on the building parking. It bothers me that some of the residents think they are driving on the freeway.... speed bumps or stop signs on all levels would heopefully deter some of the crazy drivers in the building.

I’ve been here for years … everyone is so helpful and resolve issues when needed in my unit. Great location to everything in River oaks!!!! Restaurants, shopping of all major designers. Highly recommend renting here.

The staff and management continues to exceed expectations

So far it has been great!! Linda and Harvey made the move in process so seamless! The views from our wrap around balcony are breathtaking!! We looked at a lot of properties and the floor plans at 2929 were just the absolute BEST!!

Excellent building, safe, well kept, excellent facilities, and v god management that works efficiently to build community wellbeing. Very well located near West U, Rice, Montrose and musea. The views from downtown are great

The place is great, with great views. You can hear your side neighbors all the time. Apart from that it’s a great place, great staff and great location, close to central market

Love living here. The location is fabulous; you can walk to central Market and Highland Village stores. The staff is great and the maintenance comes out promptly. They gave really nice events for their residents. I highly recommend.

The staff here are incredibly helpful! Our concierge assists with just about everything—we’re so grateful. Hand and L are the absolute sweetest. Please keep them happy! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of River Oaks and close to everything.

Move in was seamless. I have nothing negative to say. It’s been peaceful. The staff has been helpful. The residents are overall pleasant and welcoming.

I have not had a refrigerator that works properly in the year that I have lived here. One is currenlty on order, but is of course out of stock? There have been a number of burglaries in the garage and 2 cars have been stolen, one of which was mine. I rented a studio apartment when my sister visited in April, during the night she had someone attempt to enter her apartment on 2 occasions.

Living at 2929 Weslayan is an exceptional experience. The building offers luxurious amenities, stunning city views, and a modern, sophisticated atmosphere. The staff is attentive and professional, always making residents feel welcome and cared for. The location is perfect — close to great restaurants, shopping, and major roads — while still maintaining a sense of privacy and comfort. Overall, it’s a place where you truly feel at home, surrounded by elegance and convenience.

Initially a fantastic experience, wonderful staff and good amenities, after my truck being broken into and having to take on that cost myself and then my car being stolen and having to take that loss, my experience here has went from 10-1 stars, staff has been professional and helpful no issues with any of the people. Multiple security concerns have been mentioned in the past, Vandalized vehicles have been reported by myself, but no communication to the residents of the crimes has taken place. This makes me feel like the owners of this place rather hide things than be transparent.

Have completed 4 years in this building. There has been a significant change in maintenance regarding the upkeep of building. A big thank you to Meghan"s team in the office & the maintenance staff. .

The staff is excellent thank you. I can't say enough about the property and the building, but none of this would exist without the staff. The staff makes this run so smoothly and management, who puts the staff in place even more.

It’s been great. The staff is very welcoming and they always say your name when they say hello. When I do have an issue. They get to it that day and fix it.

Nice settings, friendly and attentive staff, spacious floor plan for the $. The views are amazing. Readily accessible to shopping and resturants.

I like it in here a lot. Noise between apartments can be a problem, apart from that everything is great. Great location, with a bus stop and grocery store 5 min walking distance.

Office, security, and maintenance staff are very friendly, efficient, and responsive. Facilities are always clean and available. Other than minor inconveniences in my actual apartment and elevators, it has been very pleasant living here.

The community has changed in the last year. It is much better now. AQ and his group are super concierges. The maintenance team are doing a great job as well.

So far so good, moved in right before the flooding and hurricane so the apartment is still under repairs, staff has been great. Maintenance team is very responsive, Belfor has been doing a fantastic job. Just waiting for flooring to be completed to enjoy the new place fully. Overall, happy with all things considered.

We love the views and the building. Our apartment is spacious and we love the location. A lot of groceries and restaurants around. The staff is also amazing and helpful.

Since moving in 2 years ago there have been so many improvements made at the building that have made a big difference. The new maintenance supervisor seems really on top of it and he keeps the property clean. Management hosts a lot of fun events which have made it easy to meet my neighbors.

Overall experience has been great due to all amazing staff. Harvey, Linda, AQ, Ato, Stephanie, Carlos, and all the valet team are amazing. Parking situation is great and Valet staff offers a sense of security. Mail and package management are efficient and amazing as well. Guest access along with Uber deliveries are always verified which I truly love for security.

Have been living here over 6 years now and this is the best management team the building has had! Property is very clean and tidy and maintenance is superb.

This is our first time in a high-rise with such elegance and pose; scenery is breath taking. The staff is amazing and quick to answer all concerns when approached. Concierge may not know us by name, but they definitely know our faces and the unit we reside. I love a house, but this building has been breaking boundaries for us. we're happy and glad to call 2929 Weslayan, HOME!

I wish I had found 2929 Weslayan earlier! The price per square foot is exceptional compared to area high-rises. My unit had new flooring and was in great move-in shape. The staff was very responsive with any questions or concerns. I'm sure we will be very happy here.

My stay at 2929 Weslayan has been wonderful. Everything about the place is Perfect!

I would not rent in this building again. The experience has been disappointing. Unit is tired appliances don't work, amenities are dirty. Elevators always down, no valet carts. Flooding damaged many units and hallways and it has taken better part of a year for repairs. Communication by management is poor.

I had been very happy in this building for the first two years, but for a year now, I am still happy in my apartment, but the common areas of the building are a disaster. Mainly for not giving maintenance on time and not fixing failures quickly. This exposes the security and integrity of the residents.

In my 30 years of renting, this is the most poorly managed property I have seen. Pipes are always breaking and the entire building is often without water. Once we had no water for 2 weeks! Elevators always breaking down, once we had no elevators at all for several days. Can you imagine a medical emergency in a 30 story high rise with no elevators? Door leading to the 3rd floor garage has been broken for a about a year. Main garage gate gate stays broken for about 5 months out of each year. Maintenance will fix things if and when they feel like it.

The building is literally falling apart. Broken elevators, water leaks and AC issues . Not a luxury community at all.

Elevator constantly broken, AC has went out several times, dirty hallways/common areas, maintenance requests take weeks, roaches in pool/lounge area, mold stinch all over the building. Water leaks, garage gate always open, car vandalism, access entry doors don't work. Appliances don't work. Worst high rise experience EVER!!!

So after living here for about 2 months, here our honest opinion. Location is great, staff is nice and friend, apartment and view we love. But if you need anything fixed that’s where the fun stops. Very very slow on repair request and they seem to not have enough maintenance staff to keep of request. As far as I’ve seen there are only 3 people handling all of the maintenance the supervisor and 2 other guys. They don’t have any maintenance personnel to keep residents update on work order status. We are pretty patient and reasonable and not demanding at all, but the only time I ever get someone to look at our place is when I talk to the leasing staff. So if anything breaks be ready to wait for a while to get things repaired. If the maintenance was better this would 100% get 5 stars, but for now simply because of the maintenance(or lack there of) I’d give it a 2. In all fairness, even with the downsides of the maintenance we do plan on staying here for while simply because we do love the location and views of our apartment.
