I have lived here for over 5 1/2 years and I can say it’s one of the best places I’ve ever lived. The entire apartment staff, including the maintenance staff are also wonderful and accommodating people. Lawren Is always super friendly and helpful! The entire maintenance staff is very communicative and on top of everything and friendly! I highly recommend living here just due to the people that maintain and run this property!

The Good: Nice neighbors. The Bad: Pool is often locked. Pool is also only after hours access to Amazon locker. Spa is often broken or cold. Limited parking if you dont have a garage. Have to call multiple times to get maintenance and sometimes they mark your problem resolved w/ no work done. Dog droppings are EVERYWHERE. Staff has cold "nothing we can do" attitude....unless you are a potential tenant. Mailboxes are often broken into and left swinging open. If you need security, be ready to leave a voice mail. Missing pillows on pool furniture. Summary: Avoid at all costs.

I recently moved to Venicia on 09/30/19. Shortly after moving in, I noticed a smell of cigarette smoke. Either the former resident was a smoker or second-hand smoke is making its way into my apartment. Regardless, the management, both at property and at district corporate, are not interested in my concerns and my concerns were marginalized by corporate folks and managers at the property. They basically said my concerns are not valid because they "didn't" smell the odor, which they have an interest in not smelling. Yes, I signed a contract but I would expect such a major company to accept their responsibility and make it right for their client. Instead they just deflect and say basically state that it is my problem. If this is the way you don't want to property and the district corporate offices to "take care" of you, you should probably go somewhere else. Very disappointing,

Zena is by far the most positive, caring, and upbeat person I've ever met! She went well out of her way to make me feel like family and helped any way she could..I can't possibly thank her enough for everything she's done. I ended up in a different floor plan than I wanted and normally apartments would say "take it or leave it"..Zena on the other hand explained "that apartment wasn't meant for you" naturally I was worried and worked up but she took the time and dedication to find me my perfect floor plan and made everything so easy! I've never felt a "family atmosphere " at a apartment complex..until now! Thank you for everything Zena!!
This Apartment was a great find overall but always a few things to improve on. Pros -Close proximity to everything shopping/doctors offices, etc. Fort Apache has to offer -Quick to respond to maintenance issues -Beautiful landscape and pool area -feel safe overall Cons -would have preferred 24/7 gated community -one assigned parking spot -kitchen needs updating -too far from the strip where I work -construction of the common area for example the fitness was not available for 3-4 months. -the jacuzzi is a hit or miss which is unfortunate because Im an athlete and after work look forward to relaxing my muscles, the jets aren't strong enough and the temperature needs to be hotter.
