Apartment living, year 18 We three {my husband, my son, and myself} have lived in the same apartment since 1997, the longest I myself have ever lived in one place in my entire 54 years! I've watched the neighborhood go from young families, to mostly singles, and back again to young families. If you require peace and quiet, this is not for you - many birthday, quinceanera, and DJ'ed block parties. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath, upstairs apartment in a fourplex, with decent rent - we call it home!
