With Spring Trail Park along its east side and DFW International Airport on the west, Las Colinas is large, varied, and wildly popular. If location is everything, Las Colinas has it -- centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, providing fast access to the entire DFW Metroplex. This isn't your typical neighborhood -- Las Colinas is home to the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, North Lake College, and several golf courses and country clubs. The University of Dallas is located on the south end of the neighborhood.
Las Colinas is a planned community with a well-designed mix of office complexes, luxury hotels, trendy lofts, luxury apartment communities, and townhomes. Las Colinas is self-contained, providing a live-work-play environment. For those who don't want to commute into Downtown Dallas, Las Colinas is home to several Fortune 500 companies, including Kimberly-Clark, Commercial Metals, and ExxonMobil.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at MARFA Apartments
I have been living in these apartments for 10 years, and never have I seen great managers like the ones we have now, and they have been consistent for the last 3 years or more. They are the first to take action on replacing my cabinets, carpet, doors, whatever I ask them they are on top of it within the same day or in a quick timely manner! They care about the tenants here!! Love them, and not to mention they are very polite and nice!!
Do not move in this place is trash and infested with roaches

Please reach out to us directly at (972) 255-2108 at your earliest convenience. Best Regards, The MARFA Team
The new owners at this property need to replace the MANAGER not the leasing agent. Which there now on the third or fourth leasing agent. This new company has not been here a year yet. The current manager only cares about getting a bonus for renting apartments. Be aware that multiple apartments units has flooded multiple apartments had electrical problems which resulted in fire and evacuations. Rent goes up $50 to $75 every lease renewal.
Property Manager at MARFA Apartments, Responded To This Review
Hello, we are sorry to hear about these frustrations and would like to reach out to you today and discuss how we can improve our services so that you may have a more enjoyable residency experience going forward. Our leasing agent has been with the team for a length of time but had been on vacation recently. Please understand that the Manager is responsible for the collection of rent due and is only doing her job as required. While we do not have any information regarding last year’s flooding since taking over management, we are happy to assist with any outstanding maintenance concerns right away if you will let us know what needs repairs. Rental rates are influenced by the market, which for your area has increased throughout the region. But as you may have seen this past year our new renovations and improvements within the community we hope you see the added value within the community. Our goal is to help resolve any outstanding concerns to satisfaction and hope to hear back from you soon if you will please email us your contact information! Thank you in advance for the opportunity to serve you better. – Valiant Resident Services, living@valiantresidential.com
The management takes extended breaks from the office whenever they want to during business hours and often either leave early or don't show up at all. We have had to have our plumbing repaired multiple times this year because there is a problem with the main pump that they have not addressed so it keeps spewing rotting food into the sink and dishwasher. The towing service tows cars without tags and if they are locked they drag them into the street, ruining the tires and alignment. The parking lot constantly has pot holes and standing water, and the lot in front of the managers office is at practically a 45 degree angle. Beware this complex. It seems alright, but it has constant problems that make living here terrible.
The absolute worst apartments in Irving... Warning do not live there !!!!
Worst apartments ever. They may seem cheap for apartments but they're not worth it. Put in a work order as soon as we came in and they didn't get around to it till halfway through our lease. Called for bug extermination two months ago and still haven't come. Do not live here.

DO NOT RENT APARTMENT #133!!! Our apartment flooded 4 times! The first time it happened it was confined to our bathroom and we only had to replace a bathmat and curtain. The second time the entire apartment flooded and we had to argue with the regional management for 2 hours until they agreed to put us in a hotel for 2 nights while the carpet was being replaced. The fourth time it flooded 1 bedroom entirely and displaced us to our living room. We have renter's insurance but the claim was denied because the building has a foundation issue that the apartment management refuses to admit to. We called both the onsite and regional management office everyday for a month to get answers about whether or not they had a foundation problem but they avoided us. I informed the manager when we finally moved last month that we would be taking them to court due to the damage caused by the last flood, at the advice of the insurance agent. They having plumbing issues that they have made repeated attempts to fix but it never seems to get better. You would think that sacrificing water usage between 8AM-5PM on multiple occasions would have some good come out of it but no. The management has changed 3 times since we moved in 11/2012 and has never seemed to get any better at handling situations. They answer maintenance requests in a decent amount of time but will make a big mess doing so, the maintenance men left muddy footprints all over my bathroom floor. We had a minor roach problem the first month we moved in but the management took care of that quickly and has maintained good pest control ever since. Honestly this place isn't worth the hassle just to save a few bucks on rent. You'll be better off spending an extra $50-100 a month to live somewhere that is better built and maintained.
BED BUGS AND ROACHES ARE ALL I GOTTA SAY STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE INFESTED APARTMENTS MANAGEMENT SUCKS WHEN YOU REPORT IT THEY BLAME IT ON YOU AND TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE AND HAVE TO PAY 700 FOR THEM TO EXTERMINATE... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED WISH I WOULD HAVE READ PREVIOUS REVIEWS!!!!!!!!!!
Terrible. Management is unresponsive. My fridge was broken for a WHOLE MONTH and they just replaced it. I have no idea how they thought it was okay to go a whole month without a fridge. The walls are too thin and you can hear everything, even from apartments across from yours.
