Faneuil West is a pint-sized community located in Brighton but only eight miles west of Downtown Boston. This is a charming community that’s great for students and faculty of Boston College because the campus is only one mile south. Faneuil West, like many of the surrounding Brighton communities, is characterized by long-standing homes in the Queen Anne and Colonial Revival Style. There’s a big push from local organizations to preserve and restore these incredible homes. If historic living isn’t your thing, there are plenty of more modern apartments scattered around the neighborhood.
Washington Street is where you’ll find the bulk of the restaurant and retail offerings, and with Boston just a 20-minute drive away, you can experience the bustle of the city in no time.
