If looking for a great area this property is great! Its a small great complex with a good team of people that will take care of you!

I lived in these apartments for 4 years. They have to be charging for location as the quality of the apartments isn’t worth the price tag. As others have said, they cover things with paint instead of investing in full renovations….they painted in the tub even!! We also had multiple roach infestations and the apartments only treated after complaints; the preventative treatments are minimal if not nonexistent. The roaches are in the pipes and crawl up the sinks. The gates, and washers didn’t work a lot of the time. I don’t know why they bothered to have gates with a code as the gates in the back of the complex are wide open for anyone to come in. There were several car break ins while I lived here, and I feel fortunate I wasn’t one of them. The visitor parking is minimal and hard to find. The pros to this apartment complex are 1) relatively cheap rent for the area, 2) location is good, and 3) the people in the office (other than the main manager) were friendly. The only reason I’m giving this property 2 stars is the relatively low cost for the area and the location. The quality of living isn’t the best.

If you’re okay with living in apartments where all of your things in the pantry/cabinets will stick to the layers and layers and layers of paint they love to add after every single tenant moves out. Great for someone who’s okay with the leaky pipes in the garage where you will definitely get stains on your car from god knows what’s leaking. And god forbid you have to wash clothes where there’s only 8 washers and dryers in a complex of over 200 people, IF they’re even working. Oh, and make sure you have full coverage because they don’t have gates to their tiny garage entrance/exit so we have had MULTIPLE break-ins, where multiple cars got there windows busted. Other than that great location.

This place is literally a dump for so many reasons. 1. Cockroaches: I’m extremely clean. Normally because it’s an older building and it’s Houston there’s bound to be a roach....occasionally. HOWEVER, I think the people below me are potentially causing more because there as been an influx of them in groups! I put in a maintenance request and was told pest control would come Monday. They didn’t come. 2. Maintenance: they don’t actually fix the problem. They just throw temporary bandaids on the problem and management will treat you poorly for continuing to bring it to their attention. Also having maintenance come in and out of your apartment during covid is extremely unnerving especially when they don’t always wear a mask. So now I have to sanitize EVERYTHING 3. Parking: there isn’t any. They give you a pass that you have to put in the window in order to park and do occasionally tow people who don’t have one. But the problem is the sheer lack of parking and the fact that sometimes you have to park at the neighboring apartments and they’ll tow you if you have a parking pass for legends up. So you’re constantly taking it on and off which is just stupid 4. Laundry: there’s no w/d in the units so you have to use one of two wash rooms, but really only one of them works. So you have to stay up until weird hours to do your laundry because only 4 washers and 4 driers work in the entire complex. 5. Management: if you like being ignored and treated like your stupid this is the place for you. They don’t care about you. They have no sympathy, AND they won’t put in your work orders. They also refuse to make adjustments to your rent based on their inability to fix issues with your apartment. It’s $600 to break your lease and $500 to switch units. Honestly if they try to give you any unit across the street from the leasing office, just throw your wallet and your sanity away

Every one that work there are so nice when my ac was not working they put Rush order to get it working again I just want to say think you so much for all what you do from the office to outside

You get what you get for the price. Considering the price, the location is very nice, staffs are really nice, but that's about it. I have lived in a one room apartment for about 6 month and here are my experiences: Cockroaches every where especially around sinks. (I asked for pest control every month or more) and I'm not dirty either, i barely cooked anything cause i didn't want more cockroaches. Parking is always really hard to find, even the guest parking is always full as well. write down every single detail on your move in day cause they will get everything they can on it lol they only had 2 kitchen lights out of 5 in my apartment and I thought it was just going to be 2 so didn't write that down and got fined for 3 bulbs. oh, also don't get at&t internet at this location (i don't know if there are any other services) but they only have low speed and it disconnects a lot. They will also tell you that if you leave garbage can out side, for a pickup, but they won't, at least for me, I called in like 5 times and never worked so I just threw away my self. Overall, it's reasonable for the price since it's pretty cheap.

Holes everywhere, manager lies to you says she’ll send service orders and they don’t, a lot of roaches really hard to eliminate the cars are broken in and left on bricks because they don’t close the gates of them Parking, Parking’s are limited and not a Good visibility when you get out of the garage.

You can’t control your own a/c, Recent break in of multiple cars, horrible parking, roach infestation, poorly built apartment that are really small, the complex in general is dirty piles of trash, The raise the rent constantly and it’s not worth it there old breaking apart apt. DO NOT MOVE THERE !! Am so glad I moved I was a first time renter and was fooled by there lies

I have been living In the Legends of Memorial for the last 3 years and I must say they are the best apartments in Houston by far. From the customer service in the leasing office as well as the maintenance team to the residents. The apartments are located in a good area and I have never once had one issue with flooding which is an important factor for me when it comes to the area that I live in. Good for families and very well diverse I couldn't be more satisisfied.

I’ve moved to this property 3 times due to work relocating me a few times. It never fails. I can never find a better deal in the city near the loop than here. If you want to save money and not compromise quality, come here.

I don’t know what y’all talkin bout Willis. This place is Amazing, awesome area, cozy and quiet. I found this place on apartments.com and I was patiently waiting on the waitlist for it. So glad I did.

If youre looking for a quiet and comfortable complex this is the spot. The management always finds a way to take care of any issues and they are easy to speak to. Ive been here for a year now and I've never had any issues. Best place to rent. I definitely reccomend!

they are always right and you are wrong. they don't care if black mold is present in apartment its like the movie rocky if he dies he dies. The GM is very confortational she is use to this, so don't even bother being polite she will try and walk over you and treat you like less of a human. Make sure you make them show you apartment they will lie to you and show you one model that looks fancy. the studio apartment is not what it appears to be online, the floor plan is a total shame. they come with nasty air dirty filthy air-cons like the oneIf you choose legends of memorial it really will be a legend to tell, this place is crawling with bed bugs and bad fly problems. fruit fly's are like a plague in my apartment do to there old drains and terrible plumbing, does not matter how much you clean you are stuck with them. The manager is rude I should have took the hint when half the reviews said that the GM had and attitude problem" oh and that she does. if you move into here prepare for transformers always exploding and bingo in the dark for hours or coming home to dark apartment at least every few months this never fails. At legends of memorial you should always remember that they are right and you are wrong, cause thats how they roll. when it comes to leases they now offer short term leases take the hint that people move out all the time do to the terrible legends this place has to tell. You will see just as I, and everyone else has come to find out. For the location there are better deals with less the headaches. God forbid you have and health issue like me with asthma and get rented a apartment with black mold in it, you will dam near be choking and suffocating every night, but don't even 'bother' letting management knows in the hotels. they are infested with fruits flu cause they are somehow connected to drains. so if your sink gets clogged then your ac will leak and nasty fruit flys come in there and lay there eggs. I had to cover my drain all the time but that didn't stop this plague. They do respond to maintenance request fast. But this tend to stop as you complain about the property and all the masked problems that you find in your apartment over time. My shower has sheet rock wall in it and is now covered in nasty black mold.this place is based on botch work so they resurface and paint over old paint, and get this instead of actually replacing floor tile or cleaning the filth" , they just respray over it...its freaking disgusting.

I recently went to tour one of their units and I was pleasantly surprised that the photos I found online actually matched the complex. I've seen so many places where all the images are lord knows how old and you show up to something completely different than you expected. This was not the case at legends. The leasing agent was super friendly as were all the residents I ran into. I hope to call this place home very soon!

I have been living here for almost 4 years and i would have to say it has grown to be called home. I love the area and friendly neighbors. The staff has always been friendly Tanya always helps resolve any issue brought to her. If you want a place to call home with a great location (minutes from Downtown) this is the place to lease at!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Let me start by saying that there is NO option for assigned parking, on top of that there is not enough spaces. Consistently having to roam around looking for parking that is almost no existent. Having friends over? Forget about them being able to park either they will be better off parking at Dave and Busters! Now, the actual apartment is a different story. Let me start by saying that they have remodeled a bit, granite countertops, fresh paint,ect. HOWEVER, as soon as you walk in you are bombarded by a old moldy smell. Which makes sense after the experience I've had with my dishwasher and bathroom sink. One day in Septemeber my dishwasher leaked all over the floor, and the leak keeps reoccurring. I had to call the office about 5 times for them to even come out and look at it! And after they did so the sucked up the water and then promptly said they couldn't do anything because the dishwasher was serviced by Sears. I was so fed up I forgot to have him look at the bathroom sink which in sure is "serviced by Sears" as well at this point. The mold smell is overbearing, I can't even feel comfortable with my kid sleeping in his room. This place is AWFUL, RENTER BEWARE no one should pay over $1000 a month for mold!

The staff in the office is wonderful and extremely helpful! Beautiful wood floors, lovely granite counter tops, pet friendly, a beautiful neighborhood and affordable rent? What more can you ask for?
