I have lived here for 5 years without any issues. The office staff is great. The maintenance turn around is quick. It's been a great place for me. You will have your typical issues with a shared community, but they do a good job at keeps us residents happy. Parking is problematic if you don't pay for a spot, and there are a lot of non-mentioned fees that end up making your rent about $100 more than the base amount. Just note that.

Don’t live here they have people that are always fighting with their problems outside and there’s never any parking. Then the people get into your business. So don’t waste your money it’s literally over priced. Also, people in the front office told me a different then what I have to pay now. Do not live here.

The property is quiet and I feel very safe. The office and maintenance staffs are very friendly and helpful; they are quick to get any issue you might be having resolved quickly and correctly.
My experience has been enjoyable. Staff has always been helpful. Maintenance has been quick and efficient.
The property is maravellous, clean, your workers are extremely professional.
I've lived in this community since 2009. It seems that everything is the same, in the units but they are making improvements to the pool area. Slowly updating the community.

Excellent living experience, living in a community with little or no distraction that would interfere with one's lifestyle.
We have lived in Legacy Pines one and one-half years. We have found the office staff and the maintenance staff to be very professional, courteous and efficient in their dealings with the residents. The swimming pool and grounds are very well maintained. It is a pleasure to live here!
I would give it five stars if there was proper lighting outside for safety.
I enjoy living at Legacy Pines, the office staff is always very nice and helpful, maintenance is always quick to fix any requests, the property is very calm at night. My only complaints would be the lack of parking availability after 6pm and the pool gate being locked early in the morning and late at night because it prevents access to the gym so you?re forced to walk out of the gate which is a little scary when it?s dark out.
I have lived here for two years and so far I am really enjoy it. I'm close to work and the area is really nice. The shopping center is right around the corner. The grounds around the complex are well looked after and maintenance comes and acts quickly whenever there is a problem. The office staff is friendly and helpful.

Staff is very nice. Neighbors are quiet. Pool & Grill are amazing. Maintenance is fast and thorough. Layout of apartment is spacious. The AC doesn't work well. The residents let their dogs poop anywhere and do not pick it up, despite having a beautiful dog park. I wish our gate remote worked to allow us to enter through the second gate.
The complex is quiet and well-maintained. It could use more parking spots and the gates seem to be broken all of the time. But other than that, the staff are friendly and quick to respond to any work orders I open with them regarding issues in my unit.
Everything is awesome to the max
We have enjoyed living at Legacy Pines. It?s close to so many things. The school is so close by. Shopping is close by. We live downstairs so my only complaint is being able to hear the two toddlers running above us and dropping bowling balls randomly for two hours straight. But that may be unrelated to the apt. The layout is spacious. Parking can be a hassle if you get home late.

On the whole, it's been enjoyable here. There has been some turnover throughout the years I have been here, but unfavorable service has continued to be replaced it seems. A few neighbors with loud barking dogs over the years, and crying baby for a bit, but minimal loud disturbances. I still love the area I am located within the property. My balcony & courtyard are essential. I live with Multiple Sclerosis, work from home & don't sleep well anyway, so it does mean that the shifts of weekly maintenance here in the courtyard can be annoying, especially when I am not prepared for a change in day with the weather. It seems workers do one at a time.... mow, then weed eat, then leaf blow, and then make intermittent trips through there revving up the equipment again throughout later hours I suppose to get to other area. But I've learned to deal & keep ear plugs nearby if I am trying to sleep, which helps some.... just can't get on the phone for work during any of that time. I only have a couple of issues at the moment. One being the replacement gym vendor took away the only piece of equipment I have been able to use with my condition over the last few years (stair master), and the replacement is not the same... awkward & I can't use. I've been trying to switch between 2 others but have remained in a great deal of pain lately, given in addition to MS, my pelvic bone is completely crooked. All that after the hot tub was taken (never really worked but helped some). The other is a dryer that I have to run through 2-3 cycles if I am drying more than one towel (and very few other items), but I haven't asked about replacement. Still the sanctity of my courtyard tree house keeps me pacified.
Good: pet-friendly, dog park, courteous office staff, location, good lawn care. Needs work: picking up after your pet isn’t enforced, pet waste not emptied regularly, no lighting at the dog park, people throw trash on the ground and not in the dumpsters, parking can get scarce so paying extra for covered parking is almost mandatory, upon move-out they will tack on fees for “damages” despite a pre-existing situation, outdated gym equipment.

The management team at this facility is the worst, I have spoken with several past tenants and they all have the same story about them wanting to charge for any little deviation when moving out and hitting you with a huge bill. The workout facility is very out dated and the pool was non functional for some of the hottest weeks in the summer. When considering my next move I will assure you it will not be with MAA

We chose this place due the close proximity to office as well as shopping malls like HEB, target, walmart etc., There are couple of good restaurants as well and KFC/McD is just a walk away. The apartment is well maintained and front office staff are very helpful. Maintainence staff is available round the clock. Even the pool area is maintained very neat. Awsome place!!

Working in the apartment industry, I always tell my friends that apartment living is all about knowing your priorities and compromising. There's no perfect apartments, since they are run by people and people do make errors and mistakes. Although, knowing what's important for you in your home will allow you to make a right choice choosing your home. My husband and I live in Legacy Pines and I will make a good old pro's and con's list: Pros: - Very convenient location if you work in the North Houston Area; Horrible location if you commute to Downtown since 290 is under reconstruction; _ Located right next to Vintage Park which has plenty of restaurants and shops; - Good overall feeling in the community - it's nice and peaceful, I love the layouts and I love the exterior style/color; - Lots of green - pine trees, palms etc; grounds kept very well; - Very convenient to pay rent online through their website; Cons: - Walls are incredibly thin and you can even hear your neighbors sneeze; Also windows are very cheap and you can hear everything from the outside makes your AC bill go up; - AC...I know we live in Texas and it's 100 degrees outside, and its hard to keep a place cool, although I feel like properties should budget more money for installing new AC units. My place never gets cooler than 76 degrees and my electric bill is crazy; - Pool has way too much chlorine and hot tub is like a tub to burn your skin off; I'm not kidding, you will BURN your skin; - Stacy, Maria and the new guy are cool ( especially the new guy ) but the current property manager IS TERRIBLE. She does NOT know how to communicate with residents and run this property; - Maintenance is great; Moe is super helpful! Therefore, you can tolerate noise from neighbors and don't care about pool or hot tub, but want a reasonable rent, nice layout and convenient location - go for it!
This is my first time in Houston and I rented my apartment because it was close to my work. I am pleasantly surprised to find that this is a nice apartment with very good customer service in the leasing office. Additionally, when I had a little problem in the apartment I received a quick response to my service request. I would definitely recommend this complex to a friend.
The area is nice and there are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment itself is cozy and very well maintained. The staff is nice and the maintance man fixes issues pretty fast. The downfalls are parking and noise. I've had to park outside the complex numerous times and the only way to get in is with a key at night, which they only provide when asked. So make sure you get one of those or pay for a carport! The walls are paper thin so be prepared to hear your upstairs neighbors "bowling" late at night...at least that's what it sounds like! This is also one of the only complexes in the area that does short term leasing which is what my family needed!
Overall I have to say I am pretty happy with my stay so far. Maintenance is always speedy in their response to needs, it's a quiet place the live, the fitness center is nice, as well as the pool area. It is also in a great location near many restaurants, major grocery and retail stores, and various banking options.
Legacy Pines is a quiet and homey place to live. The office and maintenance staff are very helpful! I am renewing my second lease this month and it is the easiest process. I definitely recommend Legacy Pines for couples, families or anybody that enjoys living in a truly nice place!
