Full of issues

Since signing in April, this apartment has been met with various issues in such a short time. When moving in, you are expected to be ok with a scratch up stove and be told it’s just “wear and tear” Almost all edges of the carpet have nails sticking it, to the point if you walk in some areas you can legit feel the nail. This is crazy to me that this apartment was ready to be moved in with issues like this. A sink caves in due to the aging of the glue/sealant around it. The water smells like ammonia and it’s colored from time to time and I’m expected to just let it run, but I have not had this issue in any other apartment complex. There is also weed smell thats coming into the vents due to other residents, and I have received no correspondence in regards to this issue. This apartment complex is ok with weed usage. This apartment complex has been depressing, I would advise to look elsewhere before coming here.

Only been here for 9 days and have had too many problems

I’ve only been living here for 9 days and barely even be here because I work 12 hr shifts but after the 3rd day this apartment started showing its true colors. i have already had to put in 8 maintenance request( I have pictures and videos of everything). I found 4 Asian cockroaches in the apartment since being here, my smoke detector was not working when I first moved in and my washing machine was shaking, tripping and still leaving my clothes soaking wet so the maintenance people came to replace it but it was a used dirty washing machine that stunk. They came and replaced it again for the 3rd time and this washing machine is also dirty and had a dead bug in it stuck to the white spin thing in the middle. My AC stopped working 2 days ago when i got home after work it was 79 degrees inside the apartment and it was 6 in the morning. The ceiling fan in my bedroom doesn’t work so I didn’t have anything to help keep it cool. I couldnt go to sleep I had to stay in there and wait until the office opened at 9am and by this time it was 81 degrees inside the apartment. I went to go check my mailbox Saturday night for the first time and the mailbox key wasn’t working. Also there’s never any parking at night you’re going to have to park far from your apartment unless you get lucky and catch a spot from somebody that just left. Like who wants to come home and deal with all theses issues this is too much for literally just moving into an apartment last week.

They will keep your deposit

Nice place to live until you leave. They will come up with reasons to keep your deposit. Lived there for several years and never had my carpet clean yet they charged me a carpet shampoo upon move out. An expense that they should bear as a part of doing business to prepare the apartment for the next tenant. However they will make the previous tenant pay for that in the form of kept deposit and added "touch up clean" charges.

The best!

I’ve lived here for about 3 years now and no complaints. The ladies in The leasing office are the ABSOLUTE BEST! They are always super helpful and quick to answer any questions that I have. Maintenance works on all requests very quickly. If you’re looking for an apartment, I HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Burglaries continue

I made a big mistake signing this lease for a year the burglaries are absolutely horrid. There’s one every week and cars are consistently broken into or wheels taken off. They are not increasing surveillance. I will be leaving ASAP

Unsafe place

Idecided to move out for safety reason, the safety in this apartment complex reached to the minimum as we had several robberies happened in the past few months and in the last month 2 burglaries happened, and some cars’ parts were stolen . Beside wired people ring the bells and run. The complex management failed to to provide the minimum requirements to keep this community safe like security surveillance or proper working gates.

Many burglary crimes

This complex has a very increasing burglary crime rate. My apartment got broken into around 7 pm. Just 6 days later another apartment got broken into around 2 pm. Lease office team is not increasing safety measures and precautions and very careless about this disaster.

Extremely pleased. New management

This review is a bit long but it’s worth the read if you’re truly considering moving into an apartment complex. I chose Kingsland West apartments due to the family friendly atmosphere and sensible layouts of the apartments themselves. It’s why I chose to renew my lease and have lived here for a year and half now. They are under new management which I could not be more pleased with. The old management was completely unorganized beyond belief. For example, I had an issue with my dishwasher and ice maker. I sent in MULTIPLE requests which they said they either “fixed” it (which they did not) or that they were waiting on a part. For a year this was unresolved until the new management took over. I sent in yet another request (the first one I’ve sent to the new management) late at night on Monday, January the 13th. I got home from work early in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 14th and walked in to see a brand new dishwasher and ice maker had been installed. Not only was my old dishwasher replaced but they had even upgraded it for me. Anytime I go into the office with a random question I’m treated with respect and all around happiness. The front office staff always has a smile on their face and answers my question right away. It’s obvious they have the residents best interest in hands. If you’re on the edge about living here I highly recommend Kingsland West. You won’t be disappointed.

So noisy

I believe they forgot to put sound barriers between the walls. I have lived in many downstairs apartments for the last six years and never had a problem. I can hear the neighbor beside me his dogs barks constantly I can hear my upstairs neighbors TV and them talking and laughing and my side neighbors talking as if they were in my master bath while I'm in my bedroom. With all the additional charges and my garage I'm paying $1550.00 a month. So far the management hasn't done anything about it. This place is brand new and a beautiful property but not worth it. There is nothing like trying to sleep and here your neighbors TV and dog barking. Forget about sleeping in on the weekend or being home sick and getting test.

Kingsbery on Kingsland

Being that this would be my first Houston apartment, I knew there were specific features that I wanted in both the community and apartment itself. Right off the bat, the staff were incredibly welcoming and willing to answer all of my questions. The clubhouse, pool area, multiple grill stations, and yoga studio/gym, which were all brand new, only made the complex that much more appealing. When I toured the apartment itself, I knew I had to live here. The utilization of the space with the large walk in closet, stainless steal appliances, granite counter tops, laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer, all met and exceeded my expectations. Aldeia is also located in a safe, quiet suburban area; and only a five minute drive to the highway, which makes commuting to work easier. The idealistic location of Aldeia makes it close to great restaurants and shopping. I have lived here for a couple of months now, and have loved calling this place home, and think anyone looking to move should consider doing the same.

So far, So good

This is a nice place, the upkeep around the complex is daily. I really was drawn here for the price of the 1 bedroom complimented by the use of the space. I had looked at a few others in the area, even the one right next door that I put a deposit down on, but this place was cheaper and the use of the space in the room just flowed and it seemed much more open and bigger. As far as maintenance is concerned, they have been very quick about it. Within 24 hours of any complaint they have been on top of it and very friendly, even once they called the maintenance man who had just left and double backed just to get it fixed. The pool is nice and the workout room I have thoroughly enjoyed. It is very easy to access I-10 as it is just a 30 second drive once you get out of the complex. So far, so good.
