The neighborhood may be most well-known for its titular attraction, Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. However, the area is also renowned for its sprawling greenspace. The name "Fenway" refers to the neighborhood’s lush parkway and tree-filled paths that wind lazily through the area, forming part of Frederick Law Olmsted’s “Emerald Necklace Plan” (a chain of parks throughout Boston). The Fenway opened in 1876, and its route includes the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Steward Gardner Museum.

Good location, suffers from noise issues

The location is great. The T is close by, fenway right across the street, and stores/restaurants in abundance. Noise, however, is an issue. The windows are quite old, and do not appear to be sealed properly because you can hear quite a lot from outside. That being said, this was expected due to the high traffic location, so I do not mind it. The main issue is noise from other rooms. The 3rd floor in particular, has a couple rooms that play loud music that goes well into the night. Management does not appear to want to do anything about it. I'm older in age, and although I can tolerate loud noise through 12am on weekdays and 1am on weekends, I'd rather not have to. Could be great for younger people, but I'm moving at the end of my lease.
