The Greater Heights area of Houston comprises a large, mostly- residential neighborhood just minutes northwest of Downtown. The upscale homes and close proximity to the city center (plus easy access to three major interstate highways) make this a highly desirable location for commuters seeking the tranquility of the suburbs without sacrificing convenience.
Scores of historic houses date back to the area’s heyday as a popular vacation getaway for Houston’s elite in the 19th century, and today they contribute to the area’s timeless atmosphere. The diverse local dining and entertainment scenes cater to the varied tastes of the residents, and the popular cafes and shops along 19th Street give the feel of a much smaller town than a community at the heart of the 4th biggest city in America.

Property Ratings at Camden Heights
My boyfriend and I have been living here for about 5 months and since then there have been 10 cars whose tires have been stolen. Packages are also stolen. Management does nothing while we are taking the expense of paying deductibles, buying self security devices, or paying out of pocket for broken property. Will not be leasing again.
I love the location, the staff, the quick reply of the maintenance team, but it is pretty clear they do not have security of the site under control at all. Many many stories of cars being broken into in the parking garage, cars showing up on blocks, even on the first floor, without tires. There needs to be real security on staff every night all night, probably more than one person too. I couldn't believe it when I saw a car on blocks missing its tires on the first floor of the parking garage today. I told myself I would not complain because all the theft was going on on the top floors where it was harder to patrol and less coverage, but to see cars on the 1st/ground floor on blocks hits too close to home. At this point, it seems safer to park on the street.
If I could I’d put 0 stars. Do not move in to this complex. There is a break in at the garage just about every few weeks. Management doesn’t seem to do much of anything at all to address the issue. I’ve had vehicles broken into 4 times. Catalytic converters are stolen. Rims stolen from vehicles. Windows broken. Do not move in.
I’ve lived here since 2007 and have seen many changes for the better when Camden took over. I appreciate Aline and Daniel for the small details I asked about and they followed through. Kenya has always been helpful, plus Sylvia, Emilio and Juventino. Camden is lucky to have them all. Location, price and prompt maintenance has kept me here. I have great neighbors too.

Thank you so very much for this awesome feedback. This truly means everything to the team and we are so happy that you love living here and calling Camden Heights your home. Camden Heights
Recently moved to TX from NYC and i have to admit this has been the best moving experience even! Elaine the property manager was super helpful and made the move in process so easy. The location is super-fantastic, never stuck in traffic and i can walk to so many cool bars and restaurants. The summer sunday pool vibe here is the best!

Hi, Thanks for sharing your amazing feedback. We agree our location is perfect! Best, Camden Heights
Where do I even start with this place. 1- cars get broken into left and right, we would wake up to cars with no tires on top of bricks. 2- packages get stolen. 3- management sucks. 4- Internet issues like ALL THE TIME! The list goes on and on. There is better apartments near that area so I would definitely go somewhere else but there. only thing I liked is the location but with all the issues that place has is not worth it. Go somewhere else. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Thank you for your feedback. Camden Heights Management
We recently moved in and encountered several issues as our unit was one of the newly renovated. While it had been almost 6 weeks of working through the internet issues and various repairs, every step of the way maintenance was there to support us (shout out to Daniel and Sylvia specifically!) Kenya in the front office is very responsive to emails and working with us to make it right. pros: newly renovated units location, location, location supportive staff cons: no package parcel pick-up (packages are left at your door) internet is spotty and you have to buy into their plan security sits at the front gate but does not actively patrol the garage to limit break-ina

Thank you so much for your feedback, we appreciate your kinds words!
Nice location, neighborhood feel, can walk to bars and restaurants. But the units are not great. They are renovating them and I moved into a newly renovated one. It looked pretty, but I have the cheapest appliances you could imagine. I mean the stove top is so dinky it’s really difficult to cook on, the dishwasher is like a toy dishwasher. They seriously found the cheapest possible appliances! Then there’s the theft - car break-ins, car theft, tire theft, bike theft - you name it...things get stolen all the time and Camden does not care. Also there’s the issue with the packages and internet. No Package Lockers so packages are strewn about all over the place, frequently lost and no one cares. The internet is unreliable too. Do not recommend.

The location of Camden Heights is ideal. There are so many fun activities and restaurants in this area, as well. The maintenance staff is super friendly and very skilled/efficient at what they do. Daniel just came to change out some light bulbs and clean our ceiling fans, and I enjoyed getting to know more about him. The staff is continuing to make improvements to the property and asks how they can make this complex feel more like home. The only part that I would like to see changed is package delivery. Our packages get delivered to our door, which has its pros and cons. It’s nice because we don’t have to wait to go get our packages, but many of our packages have been stolen off our doorstep. We usually text our neighbors to see if they can grab our packages, if we won’t be home for another few hours after they’re delivered. Overall I love living here and plan on staying here.

We are so happy to hear of you're happiness here at Camden Heights, and your kind words made Daniel's day! We love talking to all of our residents here to get their feedback on what would make living here that much better. We are currently in the process of exploring different options for package delivery which could include parcel lockers you could have your packages delivered to as well as services like Drop Spot which we currently have in the area. We will continue to work hard everyday to ensure each day is nothing short of excellent! Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
I am very disappointed in the attentiveness of our apartment complex management. I have lived here 10 months and there have been 3 vehicles stolen off of the property parking garage, including my husband's truck. There are constant complaints on the community portal of packages being stolen as well. These two factors outweigh the appearance of the complex, amenities, or the friendliness of our maintenance team. When I spoke to the staff regarding my concerns, they were very apologetic but offered no real solutions. However, if I wish to renew my lease, they find it justifiable to increase our rent. I understand that crime rate is usually higher if you live right next to a freeway, however, there are preventative measures that our apartment complex could be taking to prevent some of these thefts. These include having a security officer patrol the parking garage on a golf cart in order to be more efficient and to offer more coverage, and having the leasing office receive all packages, to then redistribute to the tenants, perhaps notifying tenants via e-mail of their newly arrived package. After discussing these options to the community staff, they have responded by stating they do not have it in their budget to offer these type of solutions. Theft is a high priority, but it has been brushed aside from management. They claim they have a security officer, but if that's the case, in the entire 10 months of living here I have yet to see this security person, and if they do exist, he/she deserves to be terminated for their ineffectiveness - 3 auto thefts in 10 months that I know of, disguised as "burglary of a car", is three too many crimes under their watch. If you are thinking about renting in the area, please keep these things in mind and ask to see a police report on the car thefts in this community before you sign a lease agreement.
Property Manager at Camden Heights, Responded To This Review
Hello Jocelin, I first want to thank you for taking time to provide us with feedback about your living experience here at Camden Heights. I do want to sincerely apologize that your husband's truck was stolen. We do have preventative measures in place to help deter crime from our community. We have a patrol company, an onsite courtesy officer, and surveillance cameras throughout the property. The patrol company is not on a set schedule, but is on a rotating schedule in order to monitor the community different days/nights during the week. We are in communication with our patrol company to have a more visible vehicle. We will not be accepting packages in our office however, if you are not home or are out of town when your package is delivered, please contact our leasing office and we will be happy to place it in your apartment for you. We are happy to have been able to work with your renewal offer and hope that you will allow us the opportunity to improve your time with us here at Camden Heights. Thank you again for voicing your concerns as we truly are committed to providing living excellence to our residents and will work to ensure your experience is a more positive one. Sincerely, Hillary Huber
I recently moved to Camden Heights due to a job transfer. I have always loved the Heights area and now I am walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The hike and bike trail next to the complex is also great! The office staff has always been very helpful and the complex is very clean, well-kept and quiet. They recently installed new gym equipment and this former personal trainer approves! Lastly, I can't complete this review without mentioning the snacks, coffee and tea they stock in the office. It's always a great pick me up! ?

My experience at Camden for the amount of money I was paying was horrible. You will get packages stolen from your doorstep (Camden doesn’t care) and cars constantly get broken into (again, Camden doesn’t care). Their customer service should be rated below 1, don’t expect anyone to get back to you, and if you think Corporate will respond, think again. Also- expect to lose your security deposit when you decide to move out. They come up with any and every excuse as to why they’re charging you but with no proof and just put it back on their contractors. I’ve lived in numerous apartments, and never have I had as bad of an experience as Camden.

I have been a long term resident of Camden Heights and expect to remain here for the foreseeable future. The front office personnel are the primary reason I remain here; they are beyond helpful. Misty, Erica and Eric, in particular, have each gone above and beyond to make sure that my apartment was ready and maintained. For example, once I was waiting outside the front door for the office to open and Eric saw me and opened the office 15 mins early to help me out. Whenever an errant package is mistakenly left outside the office, Erica calls and informs me that they have secured it for me. And Misty has always been exceptionally helpful in explaining my rental contract and rights. The entire front office crew are more like family than just front office staff. The maintenance staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I have never waited more than 24 hrs for a problem to be resolved, and more commonly, they fix the problem within the hour of being reported. Actually, once, at 2:00 am, my fire alarm battery decided to die which causes the fire alarm to randomly beep every few minutes; when I called to report this, a maintenance person was at my apartment to change the battery within 15 mins. –and that was at 2 AM! In short, while all apartments in Houston are pricey, and all apartments offer similar amenities (pool, weight room, business office, etc.)--Camden Heights is well above average due to their wonderful staff and excellent attention to detail.

Camden Heights is near White Oak in the Heights. White Oak has several good places for food, coffee, and beer. It also sits on I-10, making it really easy to get around town. The Heights area is also seeing a revitalization period, meaning that a lot of new and exciting things move in. The complex is pet friendly, with severally really nice dogs. They also hold monthly events that can be a lot of fun, and a chance to meet others in the complex.

The Camden Heights is located in one of the best areas Houston has to offer! There are great restaurants, bars and parks within walking distance and it is a beautiful area. I am a runner and the running trail throughout the Heights is great and I always feel safe running to and from my apartment. Camden Heights is in the residential area of the Heights and it gives it that extra touch of a homey feel. If you are a dog lover, this apartment and area is for you! It is one of the most dog friendly places I have ever moved to. The staff at Camden are always willing to work with me and provide a fun assortment of engaging activities each month. I grew up North of Houston in the suburbs and I am happy to call the Camden Heights my new home!

This is the perfect apartment if you work or go to school downtown, near the galleria, or in the memorial area! I LOVE the location of these apartments, that is a big reason why my husband and I chose to make this Camden complex our first home. It was convenient for both of us. There are tons of stores (Target, Walmart, Kroger) and restaurants near by which is awesome. I also appreciate the wonderful maintenance crew and the friendly office staff. The covered parking is also a plus (the parking spaces are tight but overall its ok). The pool is also great and 24 hour gym is very convenient. We are very happy with our apartment and would definitely recommend to our family and friends. The community is also pet friendly as has plenty of space to walk your loving pet!

Thats exactly whar Camden heights is home, not just some place that u reside. This is my 3rd year in this community and I couldn't be happier. The management is friendly and helpful, maintenance team is efficient and trustworthy and neighbors are great! Also LOCATION!!!! In the heart of the city, highway accessible and close to downtown, Washington, white oak, memorial park and much more, also super close to all the essentials (supermarket, gas stations, target, walmart, dining, ...) The community offers great amenities and has a multitude of events and activities as well. Bottom line: fantastic place to live!!

I love the place, the location and neighborhood are perfect for me. There are lots of reasons to pay more to live in an area like this. Accessibility to most of the happening spots I frequent is great. The staff is helpful, the pool is nice, but the design of the outdoor garden ends up blowing mulch into the pool on a breezy day which makes it difficult to keep clean. The only reason they aren't getting a 5 star rating...the postal package situation is awful. Camden stopped accepting packages at the front office in August and I've already lost 3 packages in two months. The post office in our area is a total drag, poorly run and bad customer service, so if you need your packages delivered to you, good luck. All in all, it's a great place to live.

I moved to the Camden Heights last spring and had a great moving-in experience. The Leasing Office staff is very nice and helpful, and the actual apartment is above normal standards. Unfortunately, they decided to stop accepting packages and therefore causing all the residents to go to Fedex, UPS, etc. to pick up their packages. This is extremely annoying and frustrating. I have never heard of an apartment doing this and it is very disappointing that Camden Heights made the choice to end this service. As much as I like living in the Camden Heights, there are several apartments being built in the close vicinity, and I might be looking at other options. Other than the packages, great place to live.

There are many pros and cons to living in this complex. The pros include that the staff is helpful, maintenance comes quickly, and the location is great. The location is walking distance from bars/restaurants and walking/bike trails. The cons include that you can not receive packages at the apartment complex. This has become a huge problem as people have lost packages and are having to go hunting for them at multiple USPS offices. The common areas are nice but nothing spectacular. The main seller for this complex is the location. Overall, if you don't plan on ever receiving packages then I would recommend this complex.

I love living in the Heights, so Camden Heights is convenient. Near biking trail, night life, restaurants, shopping, & can access any major freeway within minutes. The amenities have changed recently, like no more receiving packages (went on package hunt for USPS, discrepancy on where my item was being held-not fun or convenient); and pool table taken away (fun space). Sewage problems, constant dirt in toilet bowl every few days. Love my n'hood though!

I have lived in Camden Heights for over 5 years now. The location is amazing with plenty of great places to eat within walking distance. The neighborhood is beautiful and there is a trail just around the corner. The amenities are great. I use the apartment gym regularly and the pool is perfect. The maintenance team is very friendly and any issues I've had with my apartment have been fixed right away.

The location of Camden Heights isn't bad. It's right off the highway and can be easily accessible to popular attractions. However, having a unit in building 1 can get very loud due to the traffic on I-10. The biggest complaint I have is the lack of package collection at the front office. Despite all the complaints and the inconvenience it causes the tenants, camden has yet to try to resolve the issue. I have also read many complaints about break ins or stolen tires. For the amount of rent we pay, you would expect better security and better front office service. The positive is that for the most part, maintenance responds quickly to service requests.

Great complex with accommodating staff. Would complain about the inefficient mailing system (the apartment does not provide anywhere safe for us to receive mail), the amount of trash that residents leave, the parking garage gates do no always work at full capacity, and the pool could be more thoroughly cleaned.

Did I mention the gym is opened twenty four hours? I love going late at night when I know nobody else is using it! Lastly our window has a view of Downtown Houston and the noise of I10 helps me sleep like a baby!(;

I have been renting at Camden for almost three years. I love the services the management provides. It is a very quite, comforting community. The community activities planned by the management are wonderful and exciting. I just love the "Foodie" Trucks, especially for someone who does not like to cook dinner. Camden management-- keep doing what you are doing for the residents. Great Job!!!

Living here is super convenient. It's right by the highway, White Oak is right nearby (great food, great bars, cool events) and not to mention the Heights neighborhood. It's a very cool place to live. Maintenance requests are always completed promptly which is awesome. The apartments are nice, and have a lot of room. It's also a very pet-friendly environment. The pool is resort style and is a great way to kick back on a summer afternoon and get some sun. The downsides are: there a decent number of break-ins. Security measures have been beefed up considerably after a recent slew, and the number of reported break-ins has decreased, so that's probably more of a positive than anything. A huge annoyance/turn off is that they don't receive packages. You have to go to the post office a few miles away and deal with them. Every time I've gone has involved waiting in line for at least half an hour. UPS and Fedex are a little more convenient, but I don't really think there's a good excuse for not accepting packages on behalf of the residents.

I have moved around when it comes to apartments Oklahoma, Wichita Falls, Dallas. When I moved to Houston I thought about renting a house because I didn't want to have to deal with neighbors so close, privacy and other things. I wanted to give it another shot the main reason I am a single girl and it just seemed to be more safe. I am so glad I made this decision still 2 years later. Camden Heights is in walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and very close to grocery store, and shopping just a hop right on the freeway. The apartment complex is always clean and well maintained I rarely see trash and the grounds are very well kept. The flowers are always so pretty to see. Oh, I love the trash valet service! The apartments are well built I never hear my neighbors. I have never had any problems with neighbors being loud so they choose well also. The staff in the office are very nice always cheerful and helpful. That makes a huge difference! They throw several activities for residents to have some fun and meet neighbors. They even have the food trucks scheduled some nights. Very nice when you come home from work exhausted and you don't feel like cooking. There is also an onsite officer to call if there are any problems. Good to have to feel more safe. Of course, not every place is perfect but when you compare those little things (ex. stopping the package deliveries) to the things that are a positive you feel more confident about living here. We are blessed. So many people don't have what we have.

Compared to rising costs of rent in the inner city, Camden Heights is very competitive price per square foot and has great amenities. The high ceilings make the apartment feel more like a home (not cramped at all!). There is nice two toned crown molding in every room and spacious bathrooms (bigger than most area homes!) The layout is great too. We can have our bedroom on one side of the apt and our son on the complete other side and enjoy privacy with an open floor plan. Great kitchen with plenty of cabinets and bar makes it easy to cook and entertain without being crowded. I love all the closets and bathroom cabinets too. The valet trash is convenient and the gym is open all the time. They hold events for residents and are very nice to talk to not just when you have an issue. We will live here until we buy a home :) We love it.

I've lived here for just under a month, so I'm not sure I have enough experience to to give a thorough review, but here are my thoughts so far. I've lived with Camdens for the past 5 years and they are generally a great company and very professional. The leasing office seemed like they were a smidge under par in comparison to other Camdens in the area. The location is absolutely wonderful! You're on the edge of the Heights and minutes from Montrose, Downtown, and Midtown. It's a few minutes walk to get to the Heights bike and running trail which is awesome. My apartment is pretty standard for the area and price range. My one disappointment is the exterior gates, they're accessed with a code rather than a fob or dial in. These can get shared too easily and I feel like they could use an update. There is plenty of guest parking space inside the garage and on the street! Overall, I'm very happy with my choice to move here!

I've lived at Camden Heights for about 2.5 years now, and have never had any significant issues. Although the new package system can be frustrating, the location of this apartment can't be beat. With it's proximity to all things Heights has to offer, and a short drive to everything Houston has to offer, I've been very happy with my time here.

I've lived at Camden Heights for almost 3 years and I've been 95% satisfied with living here. I say 95% because on occasion when I come home late or when I just went to the grocery store I end up parking a florist or two higher than mine. Okay, now the good stuff. Location location location. I'm walking distance from White Oak and about a $5 solar Uber ride from midtown and Washington ave. You have White linen night in the summer, Saint Arnold brewery hosts a couple pub crawls off white oak. Some of Houston's best restaurants are just a stones throw away. Perfect for a young professional like myself. From my personal experience i would say a majority of the residents are young professionals. The apartment is reasonably priced for the area. I like that they don't offer special instead they just give you a great rate. Some of the other places I looked at were way overpriced but you get 4-6 weeks free or giving away the farm because they just sucked. Camden also does resident event and happy hours, it's nothing super fancy but cool because you really get a chance to meet your neighbors. Things I take for granted is the maintenance staff. They are super quick to get stuff done. I've seen those guy here all hours of the day working there buts off. So many of my friends that live in other luxury complexes have these horror stories about trying to get a maintenance guy to show up. I can call and they will come out for something as small as changing the batteries in my smoke detectors that day. There is probably so much more that Camden Heights does right that is slipping my mind but you know what they say the good things slip you mind it's the bad things you remember. On a scale from 1-10, I would rate Camden Heights a 9.5.

Camden Heights has been my home for over 2 years. I moved closer in town after taking a new job, and these apartments have saved my life! The location couldn't be better, they are super close to everything I could want or need, and as a bonus - it's only 5 miles from work (vs my old 1.5 hour commute)!! Camden Heights are constantly having resident events and offer food trucks and other fun activities. The apartments and grounds are clean, and they are quick to tend to any issues or service requests submitted. The staff is also very friendly. I love having Camden Heights as my home. It feels so safe to come home. After having my last apartment broken into, and the apartment complex and staff doing nothing to help, a safe home is exactly what I needed - and got.

Camden Heights is a pretty good deal for where you are in Houston. You can walk to a couple bars and restaurants on White Oak and the jogging trail is pretty much right out the door. My kitchen and living room are pretty small, but the bedrooms are plenty big even for a king size bed and a couple pieces of furniture. The highway noise can be annoying if you have a room that faces I-10, but its really not that bad, just noticeable. On the topic of noise, they love dogs here so you may have a neighbor like mine with a dog that loves to bark at sunlight. There are a lot of amenities for dogs though or cats if you're into that. Their garage has historically been pretty bad when it comes to break ins. My roommates girlfriend had her window shattered, but neither of us have had any issues. It is convenient that they have guest parking on the top floor of the garage, but I think that is the worst place to park when it comes to break ins because there is not much traffic up there. They did just put in a couple cameras too, but I think that's just to make people feel better. I never really talk to the staff there, but they look friendly and respond to your service request very quickly. The pool is really nice, they just refinished it. It is pretty quiet so if you're looking for a rager pool party probably not your place. Workout room is pretty spare, but its got the basics and its lack of stuff keeps the meat heads away. Overall I would say its a pretty good place to live. I plan on living here for a while.

Below are some pros and cons I have experienced. Hope it helps with your apartment search Pros: Quality construction throughout apartment Minimal noise from neighbors Friendly tenants Dedicated and helpful staff Awesome pool Plenty of dog potty stations pet park and dog washing station Plenty of activities and proximity to night life Commute downtown is minimal Very safe Cons: Parking gets tight after ~8PM when everyone is home Small gym (Although it does have essentials) Office does not accept packages (I get mine sent to my work or pick it up from the local post office) Road noise might bug some people in the southern buildings but as soon as you are in your apartment you can not hear anything (I live in one of the south buildings just one row from the interstate) Bottom line is the rent is low for the quality provided. I searched for over a month and visited at lease a dozen apartments, in the end, Camden Heights was just right for me.

Moved into Camden 12-months ago for a 14-month lease. The first few months my roommate and I did not experience any problems with the complex or our apartment. Then in late Spring our A/C unit went out multiple times in the following few months, at least twice a month. We continue to have A/C problems. Within the last few months Camden Heights no longer accepts packages for its residents. Residents must coordinate with each delivery company in order to receive their packages. It has been terribly inconvenient for most residents as most people expect their complex to fulfill this basic need.

My two roommates and I just moved into Camden Heights back at the end of August. So far, we've had a great experience! The staff puts on lots of fun events (e.g. food trucks; pool party with free food and drinks; free poolside yoga; wine & design; etc.), and they seem very receptive to any concerns/complaints. (For example, when we first moved in, we noticed a few minor issues. We reported them to the staff, and they were fixed immediately.) Rent is very affordable, and the location is great! Our unit is facing the bayou but is not too far from I10, so we have a great view of downtown. We toured an end unit that was right on the interstate, and noise was definitely an issue. However, now that we're a few units back, we don't hear a thing unless our windows are open. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, the kitchen appliances seem to be of good quality, and the patio is great! We also love our huge closets. As far as noise goes, I will say that we can definitely hear the people above and below us. However, the people below us have speakers with insane bass, so I think that might be more of an exception than the norm. We don't have any issue with it, as they never have it up loud past 8 or 9pm (and I'm sure if we complained, they would turn it down). As for hearing the people upstairs, it's just the standard creaking of floorboards/hearing people walk around -- nothing that I would consider a nuisance by any means. There are always people around -- sitting by the pool, working out at the gym (which is pretty small, but it has the necessities), walking their dog, etc. -- which we love! However, I would say that you maybe don't get the peace and quiet/privacy that some other complexes may offer. As 23 and 24-year-olds, we love the constant activity. With regard to the safety concerns that others have expressed, I haven't noticed this to be an issue. The complex is fenced in and is accessed either by keypad or fob. If you remove any valuables and lock your car, I don't see break-ins being an issue. (I'm not aware of any occurring since I've moved in.) The apartments have two deadbolts -- one that can be unlocked from the outside, and one that can only be locked/unlocked from the inside. I've never seen anyone walking around the complex that made me feel nervous or uncomfortable, and I always feel safe inside our unit at night. As for Camden not accepting packages -- yes, this is an inconvenience, but it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

I moved to Houston a bit over a year ago. We had one week prior to moving here and went on a hunt, and out of all apartments Camden was our favorite. We loved the pool, the neighborhood, and the apartment layout (for our budget of course). They are definitely the most affordable in this neighborhood which makes us so happy, because hey, we aren't rich. We love the amenities provided and the staff is very friendly, but of course there are a few things I would change. First- the valet trash isn't exactly helpful, it's kind of pointless actually. We have to pay extra money every month to have someone pick up our trash, and we already take it out ourselves, so that could be done away with. Also, they recently took away the privilege of the package service, so now getting out packages is a huge hassle and issue. Other than that, we love where we live. My boyfriend and I are hard working individuals who enjoy life, and Camden is a wonderful place to begin your life in a new city. The staff is super friendly, and the activities they have are wonderful. We are very blessed and fortunate to have found such a great place to reside, and hope for more years to come

Every complex has its pros and cons, and while I love the location and the apartment itself, the management leaves something to be desired. The gates in and out of the complex consist of pedestrian gates and the gates to the garage (like most complexes I would imagine). But at Camden, these gates are often damaged and do not shut properly or they are broken entirely and leave the entire property open to strangers. This issue will persist for days, sometimes even weeks without repair. Then we get emails about break-ins and how to prevent theft from management. I know how to prevent theft... secure the property properly! I have walked out to my car in the morning to the neighbor's car sitting on blocks. The management insists that they have a night guard, but I have never seen them. The management has also decided to stop accepting packages at the office and now we have to drive to a pickup location for whatever package carrier we use. This might seem like a petty complaint, but, when the management spends money on unnecessary "parties" that no more than a dozen residents attend, it seems more like being stripped of your basic amenities for the sake of social events. All complexes I have visited, or that house my friends, accept packages and they keep their property secure! It seems like Camden doesn't respect its residents while trying to placate them with inane parties and save a few bucks.
