I love where I live! The Array West Alex is luxurious, clean, fresh, beautifully located, has abundant amenities, a helpful and friendly management team, a caring concierge staff. It’s just beautiful and when I walk in the front door, it smells so good. I feel like I live in a 5-star hotel! The 27/7 coffee/tea/hot chocolate beverages in the lobby are such a nice touch! Great Gym! The fountains in the courtyard are so pretty along with the flowers, plants, etc - Very Peaceful out there. Great grills are there, too! The Array West Alex is luxurious living at its finest!

Good place to live. Traffic and people blocking the lanes on Berkeley Street can be frustrating. Noise from King St and constant construction projects is a real thing. There has been theft in the parking garage. The apartments are well maintained and the maintenance team is amazing. The convenience of living above a grocery store is amazing.

I’ve been living here for a little while now, and I absolutely love it! There are always fun activities happening, which makes it a great place to meet people and stay engaged. Year after year, the staff at the Array keep things moving and shaking. They are responsive, caring and thoughtful about their residents. They creatively keep us engaged and encourage us to socialize amongst ourselves. The grounds withing the community continue to be exceptional. The cleanliness of the dog park continues to be a work in progress.

Dropping to three stars because of the multiple Vehicle robberies that have occurred in the garage. I'm paying extra money for the parking at it is constantly robbed, vehicles were left on the ground without wheels. Very shocking considering there is paid "security" patrols. Very disappointed. Limited amenities. No pool.

Love the community and the amenities. The leasing staff and concierge are very friendly. The amount they charge is decent for this area. Residents are mostly quiet. Maintenance is fast in responding to request. Parking could be free though.

I just moved into Array at West Alex and my initial experience has been very positive. The move-in process was smooth, and the apartment was clean and ready. The staff has been friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed to settle in. The amenities look great, and I’m excited to explore more of what the community has to offer. Great and beautiful community. The units floor plans are well designed, however there are a few nails sticking out at thresholds between bedroom and living room, as well as between master closet and bathroom.

They have very nice staff and the maintenance people are just as nice. The staff and maintenance are both very responsive as well. However, the monthly rent is very expensive and they nickel and dime you when you move out with cleaning and replacement charges.

I just moved in but the Array is a much nicer and cleaner place than most. It is crazy the difference a couple hundred dollars will make. I am very pleased so far.

Array west Alex is a wonderful community with a wonderful staff, however the only issue that I am facing and kind of feeling sad about it is that my sewer bills are away higher than my water bill, knowing that I am having issues with the toilet flush even though the maintenance staff had looked at it and fixed. Toilet flush isn’t working properly resulting in a little amount of water coming out as it’s not functioning as it supposed to.

I moved into the Array in early April and it’s been great so far. The management does a great job organizing events. It’s a great avenue to meet people and expand your network especially if you’re new in the area. One underrated part of renting here is the 30-day rental satisfaction guarantee. My apartment didn’t have enough sunlight for my liking and I requested another apartment. The management office gave me an option of moving into another apartment that’ll become available in another 5 weeks with no transfer fees as the request was within the 30 days of my move-in date. The management team especially Maya and Giana have been great to work with since my move-in. The area is great with an adjoining HarrisTeeter on the building first floor and a Silver Diner on the corner. The 395 is also less than a mile away. Do not hesitate to visit the Array if you are considering living in west Alexandria!

Maintenance is quick to respond and the apartment is located in a very conviennent location. Also love the amenities. Just wish there was a pool but it’s a really great apartment nonetheless. I love it here.

Quiet and beautiful environment. Maintenance staff are fabulous. It’s good to be living here. Rent is a bit higher than the area around us. I wish there are some promotions they do for residents.

Love this building. Lived in my last place for 6 years and this has been such an upgrade. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Only real complaint is the thickness of the floors/ceilings. My neighbors downstairs love to complain about me walking - but my upstairs neighbors sound like they’re moving furniture every other day. Otherwise, I love it here

So far I have had an amazing experience with the Array. It is very clean EVERYWHERE (including the trash room). It is very secure and was easy to set up all utilities and schedule for move in. The leasing office is extremely responsive and has been incredible with all the amendments and changes that were made before my move in (shout out to Giana). The gym has all the equipment you would need for a light lift and plenty of cardio equipment. Everything is very modern and sleek. I look forward to calling this location home.

Been here for a month now and its been a great experience. The indoor garage is good and I can always find parking space. Having a Harris Teeter in the same building has been very convenient. The staff are always very kind and quick to help and the apartment amenities are great. Only thing I wish would be better is sound proofing above the apartment unit. I don't hear neighbors beside me but I hear people above me.

i lived here for two years and i had a decent experience. The leasing office staff are nice, the concierge team is great, and th maintainence people are very friendly and prompt neighbors can be noisy and those with pets can be messy but overall i’d love here again. great location to DC as well which is what i’ll miss most about it

I moved to The Array at West Alex about a year ago and have enjoy living here. I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and it is very spacious. When I initially moved in the move in process went very smoothly. The management was helpful and the building has a loading dock which is a huge plus for me. I would recommend this building if you’re looking for a place to live in Alexandria.

The frequent change of management is a lot. Rent is too expensive. I know it’s a bigger problem in the country as a whole but I make over 90000 and barely can afford this place. Communication could be better and new staff should send formal introductions when added to the team.

The construction of new (nearby) building has been brutal with more and more construction-related vehicles on Berkeley, but know it’s temporary! Array seems to have many personnel changes over the summer and encouraging to see more staff members engage residents with a friendly greeting and a smile. Noticed overall building maintenance (those projects to keep the building looking well maintained) are no longer being ignored. We continue to have a strong maintenance team with Carlos and Abdul. Our (weekday and weekend) concierge staff continue to provide excellent customer service with great professionalism.

We’ve only just moved in and aside from some little hiccups like our parking passes not being ready it’s been great! The concierge and leasing staff have been very helpful and the building itself is great (aside from the slow elevators). It’s very quiet, secure, and well maintained so we’re off to a great start.

I've only been here for less than a week, but I am more than happy with my decision to live here at Array. It has been such a pleasant experience thus far. Everyone is nice, welcoming and helpful, to include most of the tenants. I had locked myself out last night and the concierge was super helpful along with the tenants who helped me get on the elevator back up to my floor without my key fob. They host events for the tenants to mingle and get to know one another, the complex is super clean, parking is easy, having guests is easy, ordering food is made easy. I love everything about this place and it is definitely worth the price.
