I knew the first time I walked in a friend's unit that the apartments were nice and modern. Stone counter tops in the kitchen, full sized bathroom with washer\dryer. An excellent staff, cozy floor plans makes the Hana an wonderful place to call home.

This place is amazing. Friendly professional staff who attend with concern to my needs. The apartment is beautiful and the open kitchen and stone counter tops makes everything feel very fancy. The view is spectacular and my 2 minute commute to work puts the cherry on top.

I love living here it’s close to my job. Not only it’s close to transportation lines. Whether it’s the street car, buses, and the subway trains. It is a good location to live if you like living near downtown Seattle.

It's been a nice place to live it's modern, and well maintained and clean for the most part. Issues are all just an issue of the world in general. Lot of area's of downtown have been on the decline and while no one has bothered me personally it is something you will have to pass and witness as you go to and from home.

Not worth it
Management often refuses to ignore emails and instead will call you so there’s no record, they then go back on their words and act confused when you say something about it. There are always people who don’t live here roaming the halls, knocking on doors, and occasionally trying to enter multiple people’s apartments. There’s no street parking, unless you want to repair your windows multiple times a month and parking is $250. There are much cheaper apartments in nicer locations with better staff, I suggest looking elsewhere

Street parking is managed by the city, and HANA offers parking at a competitive rate, however, there is a limited number of spaces available. We will also be rolling out new measures in the community, such as a stand-alone courtesy patrol officer on-site all day on Saturdays and offering other local parking opportunities at neighboring lots to residents and prospects. Unfortunately, the HANA office has not been fully staffed, but we are excited to share that the two open positions in the office have been filled, and we will have new team members starting soon. Don't let the cute pics fool you. Here's the truth!
STAY AWAY! Cute but unsafe building with lots of strangers in and out especially at night. Floors are filled with the smell of pot and the deliveries are stolen on the daily basis. It is impossible to park on the street because it's all paid, and the so-called affordable building charges $250(!) for a parking spot. The rotation of residents is high, and every week there are piles of garbage in the garage, with large furniture dumped all over. Homeless and drug dealers are around the building after hours. Police are often called into the building for residents' issues. Management hides in the office, and there is no engagement with residents. Bldg does not have nor accommodates AC, so all units reach 100F or more in the summer. The only place with AC is the management office, of course! And be CAREFUL with the contract, they will charge you thousands of dollars if you need to leave before your contract is due. Lastly, to be able to qualify to live there, you have to provide 12 months of bank statements to them, so be prepared to be scrutinized to DEATH! Advice: RUN AWAY!

Anonymous, We are sorry to hear that you have had a frustrating experience. The HANA office is open M-F from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM. While there are certain limitations in engagement due to COVID protocols, the office doors are open and the team is available during open hours. We would also like to share that the stairwells and hallways will be fitted with diffusers and deodorizers. We also understand that the qualification process can be time-consuming however, we are happy to welcome our 4th office team member, who is a compliance specialist and will help ensure to keep the process as efficient as possible. Unfortunately, as is standard in the PNW and at the time of HANA's construction (2018) most apartment communities did not install AC's in the unit. There is AC in the leasing office, mailroom common area, and in the clubroom, which is available for residents to reserve, 7 days a week. Additionally, our parking is competitive with neighboring communities, and we only have 26 spaces for 160 units. We also recommend to residents connect with their LPD to learn more about crime in their area. Living at HANA is really nice, the location is great and the price is reasonable compared to other new constructions in the downtown area. The rooftop deck is amazing. If you have the luxury of being patient with the application process I recommend living here.

Horrible communication & management
I have been communicating with the one employee who seems to work here since July. The communication is not consistent and simply horrible. They don’t answer the phone and multiple times the number is disconnected. They don’t email you back either and if they do it’s a generic response not addressing your question or concern. I absolutely love the building including my apartment. The amenities are excellent. The roof top deck is awesome and I cant wait to use it. My neighbors are friendly and so is the staff. I cant wait to move into a 1br

Going home from work and watching the sunset from the rooftop is my biggest highlight from living at Hana. I love that the appliances are new and that management is on-site to help. The people at the leasing office are really nice as well as the maintenance crew! Overall I am really happy to be living here.

HANA Apartments are fantastic. You will be hard pressed to find a better deal on new, beautiful downtown housing in Seattle. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the people living here are friendly and diverse, and the lounge/rooftop have spectacular views. I will be living here as long as possible.

All of the leasing staff did a great job on introducing me to HANA and being friendly. I had a good first impression. Through the application process, I was impressed by Rebekah's knowledge and judgement when it came to helping me fill out the paperwork and to figure out what type of supporting documents I needed to cover the different areas of my application.

Apartments are beautiful and affordable. Some details in the apartment structures are poor. Parts of closet bathroom sinks and kitchen are poorly constructed. There are gaping holes in these areas that only I can see. but the apartment is so cheap its hard to complain.
