The new owners are making a lot of improvements. Looking better already.
Apartment was cute at first glance, but listen to the bad reviews because I don't know where to begin. Roach infestation never exterminated, I had to file 2 police reports due to license plate stolen and car broke into within only 6 months of living here, apartment had water damage and dirty/broken appliances upon move-in, maintenance requests not fixed, rude manager, not enough parking, etc.
The storage units broke and stole the stuff. The mailbox was also broken and took all mail. No camera, no patrolling, you are spying where you go and what you have valuable. Every day you wake up with a fear of whether your car has wheels or not. Think before you rent the unit here.

The worst apartment complex I've ever been to, A lot of roaches broken, fridge, bad neighborhood.
Bad Management! Not secure!! Takes them a long time to fix things.
This community is looks good and located in good location. We everybody need secure place which we can not feel here.A lot of burglaries in unit, stole the vehicle tire frequently. If you can bear such things welcome this community.
This place is not safe place. If you have new car definitely your car tires going to be stolen. This happens every week now a day. Your apartment is going to be broken. This community this happen very often. Now your decision how do you like. I never recommend this community.
Hello everyone, Before coming here, ask management that if you have secrutiy or not ! If they say no, don’t come here. Lot of robberies are taking place here. Once in mine, 2 times in my friend’s apartment, and others as well. Looks like There is someone from inside. I asked management to have securtiy and we are ready to pay like $5,$10 extra a month, which means they will get security expense from that. I dnt understand why they dnt want security. Second, bad management, no work orders on time. I said i dnt want anyone in my apartment when i will be not at home. So, they say then we cannot guarantee you when they will come to fix. I mean what is this ???? We dont want anyone in our apartment, so u will mpt fix stuff on time ???? Dnt come here, we r 5 families, and we might leave from here coming here.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not live here unless you want your personal belongings stolen from you. It was my last month of living here and I had gotten my wheels and tires stolen from my car. Bad area of Apartments’s to live in. I spoke with the office manager and all they are concerned about is last months rent. They have no security cameras in the complex besides on the front gate! The gate code has probably been the same for years now. I also talked to a maintenance man and he told me that people’s rims and tires have gotten stolen 4 times in the last 4 months! That is ridiculous! They supposedly have officers that walk around at night. Which I have never seen! Maintenance man also told me they probably live here for free and stay inside all night not doing the job they are supposed to do!! Something needs to change here security wise I should not have to worry about my only vehicles wheels being stolen just because I have a nice car!!

After 8 Months I am simply thankful that I signed a short lease and am now free to leave. The apartment was dirty when we moved in, the tubs, appliances, and cabinets were damaged despite the unit being "renovated" - a term that is very loosely applied to this community. After asking for repairs to be made we eventually gave up and have lived out our lease with an old dryer that barely works, a freezer that does not hold correct temperature and is still missing its ice maker, cabinets that are peeling, discolored tile in the showers, and broken drawers in the kitchen. We have seen multiple cars broken into here, which the manager responded to by posting notes on everyone's door reminding us that the Managment is not responsible for "vandalism." Now they are asking everyone to buy a remote to access the gate, or they will have to call a phone to have the gate opened for them - all to make a few extra bucks. I remember dismissing the negative reviews on other sites when we first looked at this community. I thought they were inaccurate or misguided. I wish I had saved myself the heartbreak of spending 8 months hating wear I live. Please, look elsewhere.
VERY HAPPY WITH SERVICE. ALTHOUGHT THE OUTCOME DID NOT FALL IN MY FAVOR WITH MY SITUATION WITH THE ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM. I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM ROSA THE ASSIST PROPERTY MANAGER WAS EXCEPTIONAL. SHE WAS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. VERY HARD TO FIND WHEN DEALING WITH PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. I ALSO LOVE MY APARTMENT AND THE LOCATION IS GREAT.!!! THANK YOU ROSA.
This is a great place to stay. They late of the apartment is nice and I have never had any issues, very peaceful and quite . They keep the area very clean and easy access to hwy 290 and 1960 and im glad that I can call this place home.
I have really enjoyed living here the past six years! The complex is nice and quiet and the staff is helpful! Proud to be a resident.
They have excellent customer service and they respond to work orders fast and at no cost. The building is very quite and clean and no one hangs out.
I recently moved in these apartments in March 2015. I choose these because they are a central location for both my boys schools. They are convent to Highway 290 and main street FM1960. They are nice apartments as for first site goes, just need some work. I live on the first floor with hardwood laminate flooring, which comes in handy with kids. The only downside to it, the laminate flooring is coming up. The washer and dryers are old so it takes almost an hour to get a single load dried. I've put in service tickets but they say it heats up so they cant do anything about it. The parking is crazy! I would have to park far away from my apartment at times. So I took the option of paying for a car port just so I didn't have to park so far. Dog owners DO NOT take responsibility for their pets at all! There is so much dog feces that walking in the grass is a BIG NO NO. Trash, this has nothing to do with the apartments but the residents themselves! People have no respect for the place they live at. I've seen people get out there vehicles and throw trash on the grass like its suppose to go there. Not to mention the cigarette butts everywhere. Then it takes weeks for maintenance to clean it up. I've never had an issue with management. Girls are nice and welcoming. There is a lot of traffic in and out so if your looking for somewhere quite this might not be what your looking for. The pool is very nice and always clean, which is a perk considering this is a huge complex. Overall, apartments could use an upgrade, residents could be more respectful and they could really use more parking.
Nice space and very comfortable....the location is great
The area is nice. I don't have kids but if I did I wouldn't have a problem with this area. Everything didn't work right off when I moved in, but I told the front office and received a new frig, dryer, ceiling light, and a couple little things in the bathroom. The front office didn't give us any hassle about any of it. They are nice! Must keep your place clean or you will have a bug issue. ( that's anywhere) Bleach is your friend! Lol but all in all nice place!
As far as apartments go this one is not too bad! I have lived in 3 other apartments, one of which was awful. The staff here generally want to help solve your issues. Major maintenance request usually get fixed same day while minor ones tend to take closer to 4 days. I like the on site dog park and valet trash pick up. Also the location is perfect! Close by a Kroger, Target, Home Depot, and many restaurants. I give it a 4 out of 5 simply because there is never the perfect apartment. We had some water leak in the drywall when we moved in, but it was repaired fast. Other minor things quit working but everything has been replaced. Hope this helps!
I chose the Wynnewood apartments without ever even being to Texas before. The staff worked really well with me over the phone and email to be sure I had a place to live when I arrived. When I arrived I was surprised to how it felt resort-like. It is clean, well kept, and beautiful. The staff are helpful, maintenance is quick, and most importantly there are NO BUGS. We signed two leases with them back to back and have been here a year now. Sadly we are moving again but we recommend the Wynnwood apartments to anyone who wants to live in a safe area, with a lot of great restaurants right across the street. And I highly recommend visiting the marina that is a walking distance away for fishing and jogging. God Bless!
