Drive less than five miles from the heart of Richmond to find Forest View, a peaceful neighborhood with tree-lined streets. The majority of Forest View is made up of cozy homes, but the northeastern corner of town features great amenities including athletic fields, an elementary school, and a few convenience stores. While many residents travel to Downtown Richmond for its renowned restaurants and shopping, Forest View’s northern border, Forest Hill Avenue, has a collection of restaurants gathered along it. Shopping destinations like Parkway Shopping Center are located just outside of the neighborhood but are easily accessible. Outdoor adventures can also be found a bit outside of town at the parks and trails along the James River. Many of the homes within Forest View are permanent residences, but there are a couple of options for rentals inside and outside of the neighborhood.
