I have enjoyed living at 2001 Westheimer Rd for some time. Our apartment is spacious and thoughtfully designed. It is especially nice having a balcony overlooking the pool. Apartment staff are helpful and we have an excellent maintenance team. Reasonably priced and comes with a lot of amenities. I am happy we ended up living here.

I love living here! The location is perfect-close to everything! I can get off work and walk to get almost anything I need or want. I love that’s it’s a smaller community than some complexes. Parking is easy and it’s residentially quiet. The construction can be loud at times but that’s temporary and for improvement so I can’t complain. I feel very safe here and that is important to me. The grounds are clean and well-kept. The office team is so friendly! I can’t see myself living anywhere else.

The Westheimer apartments are convenient located. Love that my apartment has a huge closet and great square footage. I wish the bathroom counter was longer. Lots of parking here. I have been here for 3 years and the rent has gone up a lot for nothing really changing.

Flawless. Building is in good repair and facilities is quick to fix problems. The only thing I would work on is the constant problem with elevators, it literally feels like one elevator is always out of service.

Amazing staff, particularly Ariel, who took their time to make sure I found the perfect apartment. Quick and easy application process, and move-in took only a few minutes! Lots of parking spaces, quiet apartment, and the location can’t be beat. Definitely worth checking out The Westheimer!

Love this place so much. I moved in the week of a hurricane with a tornado, & have gone thru the snow storm here all in less than a year- and this management team has handled everything phenomenally. The maintenance and cleaning staff are seriously so kind and work so hard. My job is 2 blocks away so this location couldn’t get any better. I’m so happy here.

in general OK, but common areas such stairs, outside elevators are always dirty. I reported once that there was dog poop just stepping out the door of the stairs on 2nd floor and nobody clean it...it was clear many people stepped on it....

The Westheimer is a great spot! This is my 3rd year living year. It is a quiet place and convenient location. Lots of parking and not super busy where you have to wait forever for the elevators.

An excellent apartment building. Lovely spacious rooms. Lots of amenities and beautiful grounds. Clean and close to lots of great grocery stores, restaurants, and so on. My only complaint would be that it feels that sometimes repairs are made on short notice requiring water to be turned off, etc, but overall front office is quite communicative.

Great location, friendly and helpful neighbors, nice outdoor area and gym. The maintenance staff is really responsive, only the staircase are to dirty and the elevators often don’t work.

Love it...Love it!!!!?? I feel safe and secure, the neighbors are nice and friendly. And the staff are awesome. Very professional. My only thing that could use a slight upgrade is the dog walk area. Other than that it's a great place to live...Centrally located.

An excellent apartment complex. Great location. Building is very attractive with lots of amenities including Amazon locker, pools, up to date fitness center. Staff is friendly. The building is clean and kept up to date.

It’s been great so far. Security is good (can be improved though) and I can appreciate cleanliness, peace and quiet here as well. It’s conveniently located to schools, shops and church. Parking is just on the ground floor which is also a plus factor for me.

Water has gone out frequently, bathrooms around pool areas are not cleaned and don’t have hand paper towels. Noticed when I didn’t have water and needed to find a bathroom. For some reason the leasing office bathroom still had running water.

The Westheimer is a great place to live. Situated in the middle of a robust community, there’s so much to do. Bars, grocery stores, restaurants… you name it are steps away. Whether you work downtown, medical district, or in the galleria the commute to work is 15 minutes max. The elevators are down occasionally, but the community staff, spacious apartments, and amenities make up for it. If you can afford it, I definitely recommend.

Love the location, everything is convenient. It's annoying to have someone stomping from the unit above me so I usually keep my music on to down out the noise. I understand that the area is trending so the cost is higher but I still feel that all of the accommodations should match that.

Wonderful place to call home its where upper Kirby meets river oaks and montrose. Apartment is a great with nice features. A bath tub and a shower.

Elevators are constantly out. It’s currently been out for a month and the property has given no updates or explanation why it’s not repaired. Dog area is filthy, you won’t want your dog over there. Also the building itself is declining on cleanliness tremendously. You will also face many water “repairs” and be without water for up to 8 hours. And you will 100% need maintenance repairs every few months for various issues. I’ve been here 2 years and have had to submit 23 maintenance tickets. Over 5 times for AC and multiple times for appliances. For the money you pay here you can go somewhere MUCH MUCH nicer. Which is why I can’t wait to rip up the lease renewal paper in month.

Current resident and have been here for 3 years. First year was fine and then the next 2 years have been terrible. The water and power constantly needs repairs and will be out for hours at a time. The cleanliness of the property has dropped tremendously, it’s not uncommon to find trash overflowing in the basements, dog pee/poop in the hallways/elevator and the dog area is completely filthy as nobody picks up after their dog. You can’t get delivery to your door because management locks all the doors to the public at 5pm, this also effects packages because they can’t get inside the building. The apartments itself are good but the living facility is horrific now, you will CONSTANTLY be inconvenienced by water and power outages. Counting down the days until my lease is up!!!

I've lived here for over a year and here's my honest review! Pros: Good location, walking distance to good restaurants and shops, affordable for the space, quiet, feels safe in the apartment (not so much in the parking garage), timely and friendly maintenance for in-unit issues (the maintenance guys are the best thing about this complex and whatever they make it's not enough!), convenient amazon locker hub, gym is good for cardio but limited for weightlifters, no issues with bugs/pests in the apartment, friendly neighbors Cons: Everything is always breaking! That's the #1 con. Elevators constantly out/under maintenance, water/power randomly have to be turned off like once a month (probably out of the complex's control but it happens often enough that it drives us crazy), doors to stairwells jammed when the lock system gets stuck so you have to walk further out of your way to a different stairwell, disgusting pet run (dog poop everywhere because some owners don't clean up and there are tons of flies/bugs because of it), friend had her locked car broken into in the parking garage, supposedly there's a security officer who drives around the garage at night but i've been out at random hours throughout the night and have never seen him, appliances pretty dated and under performing (e.g., kitchen sink pressure is really low and maintenance fixed it as best they could without replacing the entire sink but we still don't have enough pressure to spray dishes) Summary: I won't be renewing my lease and wouldn't recommend this place to a friend, but it's a good complex if you're selecting an apartment based solely on location and price.
