The furniture in the Club Room is still tattered and worn. The carpet is stained and has not been replaced. The public areas need to be refreshed.

A really wonderful place to call home - even if only for a short while. The staff are excellent - welcoming and friendly, with one staff member in particular (Jordan) easily my doggo's favourite person (she goes crazy and nearly wags her tail off when she sees him). Nice facilities and always clean and quiet. I can't fault it. If you have a chance, would recommend you check it out.

Today was one of the most lovely events at REM. We were treated to special events all day long. I especially loved the Paint and Sip afternoon. The teacher was amazing and we learned so much. I have been a resident here two times, once in 2019/2020 and then back again in 2022. This is my favorite home and mostly because of the incredible capable and loving staff. Long live Bozzuto!

I have absolutely loved the 2.5 years I’ve spent at RAE. It’s hands-down the best apartment complex I’ve been to (or lived in) in DC. The staff is uniformly wonderful and so helpful and responsive, the amenities are incredible, and the neighbors are lovely (and even if they weren’t, the thick walls would provide a nice barrier—my pianist-husband can confirm). Add all of that to the fantastic neighborhood, and I never want to leave. In fact, I’ve just signed another 2-year lease to make sure I don’t have to.

Horrible Experience
I had horrible experience with this leasing office. They advertised an apartment online and were very persistent about me filling out an application after I toured. I filled out the application and submitted a deposit for the apartment. I then started hearing conflicting information from them regarding the move in date. They finally contacted me and told me that the current tenant did not want to move so they were not going to honor my rental deposit agreement. Instead, they offered a different apartment which was smaller with a move-in date that they knew didn't match my request. I still have yet to receive my refund. They put me in a horrible position after having given notice to my current apartment.

Greetings Kris, We deeply apologize about your experience during the application process. We understand and agree the situation of the current resident withdrawing their notice was unfortunate and we detailed we could have taken the lengths of legal action to enforce the notice while also offering the different apartment to you, but as mentioned this would have still put you beyond your preferred move in date. Therefore, we offered to not only refund the hold fee for your home but the application fee as well since we were limited to the one bedrooms we had to offer and simply couldn't make the move to our community work. We did offer to hold the home for you when you initially wanted to cancel with full promise to provide all refunds should you not want the home once you made a full walk through of the apartment to ensure you were you would be satisfied with the noise retention of our building structure. We again sincerely apologize that all options we had to provide did not work. The refund check was cut shortly before Christmas and can take up to 10 business days to receive. You will love the staff!
After visiting the property for the first time yesterday I was immediately impressed by the apartment’s staff! Samnang as well as the concierge team Michael and Robert were all helpful and attentive. They thoroughly answered all questions I had about navigating the property. I absolutely love how they make the environment feel like “home.” The staff are super familiar with residents and even know their dog’s names! Last note *** for those worried about their COVID regulations their are hand sanitizing stations located everywhere throughout the building (that are actually filled.) I applaud them for mandating masks in common areas and taking the initiative to keep their residents safe.

Wonderful development!
I've really enjoyed the two months that I've lived here. Even a move that goes well is stressful but the 777 staff helped make it painless. The building manager is top notch which is reflected in the team she assembled--they are warm and welcoming to a person. The residents are friendly and the neighborhood is hard to top--it's more peaceful than I thought it would be. The Eastern Market Metro has 3 different lines and various buses stop out front on Pennsylvania Avenue. The Trader Joe's downstairs and small businesses nearby make it convenient to live here without a car.
