Providence at Memorial

I have literally have called this office 28 times in four days never an answer or no callbacks. I tried to take a tour unsuccessful.

New management has been very helpful, they have been improving the property and following up with the work orders.

This property is nothing like advertised. The main problem and also the reason I'm writing this review is because the problem of hot water. Every week the water is shut to fix or replace something relating to the hot water. It seems like there is no progression in finding a solution that will last. The pictures of the pool are deceiving because the 2 years I lived here the pool has not been clean enough for people to use. There is constant problem of mailboxes getting broken into and there has been no effort in finding a solution to that unless you count mail not being delivered as a deterrent. The laundry rooms have a problem of not being useable or clean. The rooms are sometimes closed and locked, leaving you to go a laundromat. The parking lot has potholes so bad tenants use to exit gate to enter to avoid hitting them. There has been repeated changed to management, which seem appropriate since no one has made suitable changes to any problem listed above. These apartments should be torn down and remodeled.

The new office team is very helpful and attentive. Great floor plans available. Just outside the loop by 290.

I have been trying to get in touch with literally ANYBODY in the office for the past two months via phone & email without any response or acknowledgement. I've lived in these apartments for over a year & a half. I am a good tenant - quiet/keep to myself, have always paid rent on time - & yet, I am ignored when I try to bring up an issue concerning my apartment. I work on the east side & the office hours are not compatible with my work hours so I can't just drop by. While living here, I have experienced the disgusting roach infestation, horrible parking issues, & constant rudeness/inconsideration from the "neighbors" around me. If I receive a response to this, it's only because they are being called out on their wrongdoings & want to appear professional. I cannot wait until my lease is up. I will gladly pay the extra little bit a month to live in actual luxury apartments where they care about their tenants, unlike the Providence at Memorial.

If this place has any stars, I’m sure it’s from friends of people who run the place. Roaches, dog waste and trash everywhere, and the water is brown when you first turn it on. They will show you a cute little apartment, but yours will be nothing like it. I moved in from out of state, and I can’t wait for my lease to be up.oh, and you’re going to pay for parking, but people with park in your spaces, because there is no parking at night.

whenever I move out I will miss the living room cause it stays cool even after I take off the AC. The insulation is good. All the rooms, but that my favorite. Also its safe and they are dog friendly.

I lived here 2 years worse apartments teenagers smoking weed all the time. Now that i moved out and droped the key to karina the new girl cause they always change "leasing agents" a check for the pending balance of my bill they "misplaced" it and now i got a called from the collection agency saying that i owed 156 when i had paid my balance a month agoo for the amount of 100 and i just called to speak to the manager and they connect me with the asistant manager patricia which it was a total waste of time because i dont have proof of the check i had given karina i still have to pay 156 or it will go to my credit... They charge to much for the poor service they have crack head living there people drinking on the parking area and a security guy that is always on his car sleeping.

Don't be fooled by the pictures or the Model. I guarantee your unit will not look like this. If you like roaches, trash thrown in the walkways and mold, this is the place for you. There are home invasions, car break-ins, and pot smoking teenagers. Parking is not guaranteed and they have a tow crew that snatches cars when residents park over a line. Amenities. ...let's see. One pool is condemned by the city, the fitness center they advertise doesn't exist, and the laundry is non effective because there is no water pressure. Don't be fooled.

I have been living here for two years and I just love it. It's quite and the residents are friendly. Noise is low and so is the crime rate for this area.

This apartment is huge, I have it fully furnished and still could put a lot more furniture in it. I love it and the staff in the management office are great, always ready to help in time of need.

I love the location because its local near everything I could possibly need.
