The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really like the floor plan and community. We have a loft that looks into the courtyard and love seeing all the trees and having a patio for me and my dogs to sit on.

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about The Lofts at Park Crest!
Used to be a “luxury building” but not anymore. Greystar has significantly lowered rent for new residents but the residents who have been living at the lofts for a while are paying a high premium. They are now taking away amenities like the concierge service and forcing everyone to use fetch package delivery which has no benefits to residents what so ever and no incentive to provide any customer service to residents at all. They do however give a lot of perks and incentives to Greystar employees, management office and building staff, like bottles of wine etc. There are stains and more stains all over over the carpets which Greystar is and has been aware of for at least two years. And the walls and base boards in the hallways are equally disgusting and have needed to be re painted for a long time. It’s embarrassing. There is often dog poop in the elevators and in the hallways. There does not seem to be any maintenance in general. The elevators are frightening as they shake and make strange noises and apparently cannot be fixed. However, the leasing office, 4th floor elevator landing outside the leasing office, club room (which is irrelevant in general and also because of the pandemic) and the lobby area were all remodeled and including repainting, but for some reason the stain covered carpets in the hallways and wall/baseboard damaged are still ignored. Greystar remodeled the leasing office - which is basically irrelevant to residents - instead of repairing and replacing the carpets in the hallways. People do not wear masks. They have loud parties and there guest do not wear masks. They try and get into the in elevators anyway. Police are frequently called to building. It seems that Greystar doesn't care about the actual residents or providing a resident friendly environment or experience. It's as though "customer service" is intentionally removed from their business model. Like there is simply no need to accommodate residents or show any hospitality what so ever? Especially with this hostel fetch delivery force and taking away away the 24 hour concierge amenity. It's all just such a shame.

This place is awesome! I rented here through AirBnb first to see how I would like it and ended up signing a lease. Its so convenient being connected to a grocery store as well as being just down the street from all Tysons has to offer. Would recommend!

Your positive comments mean a great deal to us because we truly strive to have loyal residents. We are happy that you decided to call The Lofts at Park Crest your home.
The walls are paper thin. The floors are thin concrete but because the walls are so thin between units, you can hear soft spoken conversations. I happen to be unlucky enough to live next to a couple with a baby that not only like banging against the walls and having their baby cry right by my bedroom wall, but they also enjoy slamming every door and cabinet in the house all day from 6am-10:30pm and often outside my window too. Speaking of windows, the glass is so thin they might as well not be there. The courtyard facing units I find are the worst units to have because in addition to the neighbors beside you, you can hear everything that goes on in the courtyard too. You cant listen to music in your own home, even at level 1. You cant watch tv loud enough to hear the words. You cant even have a phone conversation without your neighbors unintentionally eavesdropping on your call. AND, anything your neighbors do above below, and diagonally, can hear too. Because even though the floors are concrete, there is a break between them. Break in the concrete happens at the walls where the unit ends. I can hear my neighbors party and their kids bouncing balls off the wall to my bottom left. Also I can hear the doors slamming on my top right. I have not been able to sleep through the night even once in the past month and a half. I bought a white noise machine and that helps, but not enough to keep me asleep. Dont be fooled by the heavy duty concrete pillars. My sleep schedule is so messed up I fall asleep during the days now and its messing me up. I cant use earplugs because not only will I miss my alarms but I wake up with aching in my ears from the pressure. I honestly dont know what to do. I dont feel like moving again but I need to get some good sleep. I find myself leaving the apartment frequently to not deal with the noise. I was in the gym on the ground floor one day; Which is laying on the foundation, and someone who lives right above the gym (above a 30 foot ceiling), told me they can hear everything that goes on in the gym and they get woken up 5am daily by people working out. Overall, you can hear walking and slamming of things, even on the ground in the apartments in front of you and to both sides. This community is visually pleasing but way too noisy.

Average place to live for the price. The apt needs to be able to provide consistent hot water.
