I toured the property with Kayla, who was professional and patient throughout. She walked me through the structure of all three buildings and the garage, and carefully helped me compare units. Her thoroughness made the process clear and easy to understand. I went back another time to tour the Amenities. Really love how much coworking space and rooftop area this building provides.
I love The Gantry a lot its cozy and loving. its definitely better where I came from and I dont have to feel scared anymore. I love it here and its very secured. and my view is EVERYTHING. I love it and my boys love it here also.
My experience here has been great so far. I am looking forward to living in this community. I am awaiting the call for the move in date. Thank you!

The staff and area is a joyous experience. I love it! So peaceful well kept and professional. I love the area of the complex my son and I laid eyes and just knew we had to move here. We toured the place and instantly called it home.

I've been here a month and I feel at home. The staff and residents are all nice and respectful. The location is great. And the building is well kept and maintained!
Moved in today and no joke, the concierge saw me and a friend struggling with my couch and helped us carry it in. & neighbors came out to introduce themselves unprompted. Unbelievable service, never had folks so ready and willing to help.

Non responsive management. Not sure why charge residents for parking if there are many many cars parked without parking permission and absolutely zero consequences for those without permit. Dirty pool, people spilling drinks

I've been at The Gantry for three years and am extending for another year. Why? I'm pleased with my living experience here. Beautiful apartment and public spaces, great amenities, excellent service from management staff, interesting and nice neighbors, vibrant neighborhood with a plethora of restaurants and eating establishments, near five different supermarkets all within walking distance, nearby metro station and trail for running/biking. I highly recommend The Gantry.

I've been here 1 1/2 months and really like it so far! the amenities are great and the location is great. The main issue is that, like in many new buildings, the walls are thin. But the windows provide great sound insulation from the outside.

The Gantry is a wonderful place to live. It has a good atmosphere and is very modern. It is in a good location where there are a lot of shops and cafes within walking distance. The apartments are very spacious and modern. The amenities are very nice as well.

I’ve lived all over the world and throughout the DMV and after 2.5 years, the Gantry stands out as my favorite living experience. My apartment is bright, cozy, and feels like home. The concierge team (Brian & Mumba) greet me warmly by name, and the management team (Kaida & crew) host thoughtful monthly events like community brunches & plant giveaways. I’ve gotten to know my neighbors and built real friendships here. The cleaning and maintenance staff (Yuri) are kind and hardworking. The amenities are top-notch—friends always comment on how spectacular the rooftop shared spaces are. The location can’t be beat: close to Trader Joe’s, the MBT, Kraken, Union Market, and tons of food and entertainment. As someone without a car, I love the walkability and easy Metro access. There’s always something happening nearby—farmers markets, outdoor movies, concerts through NoMa BID… If you’re looking for a welcoming place with community vibes and great service, the Gantry’s hard to beat!

Love the gym and location. Front desk stuff changes so often they have no idea what to do. Wish the leasing agents were transparent about bills or at least they would explain what you are paying for. Now, it’s a surprise every month. Parking is a mess.

Living at The Gantry has been a great experience—the amenities are excellent, and everything runs smoothly. However, the response time from the staff has been quite slow. For instance, we need to renew our lease within the next few days, but we have yet to receive a response. Prompt assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The application process was easy but took longer than expected and there’s minimum to non existent room to negotiate fares or options. Besides that, the building seems pretty good, not enough co-working spaces though

Overall, the Gantry is a nice community with great amenities and a great location. I did want to note that there have been issues with getting maintenance requests fulfilled, issues with rent billing, as well as packages being tampered with/stolen. We have repeatedly presented these issues to management, and although they are typically addressed, the issues persist. It's important to know that the Gantry is operated by a large conglomerate, and this reflects in the quality of management. As mentioned, it's overall a nice place to live, but I would maybe consider other locations before signing a lease.

Although the facilities are beautiful and clean, the Gantry is by far the most disorganized and has the most unprofessional staff of anywhere I've lived in DC. I've had multiple packages stolen and have had zero help from staff to help figure out what happened. I have lived here for almost a year and a half, and I have had only 5 total months without having an issue in my rent (overcharges, double charges, receiving late fees even though I paid, etc). The leasing office does not respond via email or phone hardly ever, and is seldom in the office during their posted hours. Even if you have an appointment, they often will not be there. When you finally get a hold of someone, they are so often rude and unhelpful. This building is gorgeous and the units are great, but the rest of the issues make it not worth it at all. I recommend finding somewhere else in NoMA.

I've had a great experience at The Gantry. The location is excellent—close to top restaurants, public transit, and the MBT, with Trader Joe’s within walking distance and easy access to Harris Teeter and Whole Foods. The building hosts enjoyable monthly events, is well-maintained and clean, and offers some of the best apartment layouts I found, featuring large windows and great natural light. It's also very dog-friendly. The main downsides are increased crime in the area (a challenge across many DC neighborhoods) and frequent front desk staff turnover. I love the rooftop, pool, and unique architecture of the high rise. My floor is quiet, cleaning staff do a nice job keeping spaces looking nice and maintenance requests are handled quickly. I regularly host friends for dinner parties and they always admire the amenities and views from the roof when they visit. If you're considering a move to NoMa, The Gantry is definitely worth considering.

Living at the Gantry has been great! The only issue is that the cell service on the lower floors is not great. I don't get reception in my apartment unit so everything must go through Wifi. This is an issue when receiving text messages through android. It also means that calls don't go through in my apartment. Only FaceTime works because it's through wifi.

I’ve been living at the Gantry for 2 years and things have changed for better since we moved in. As always cleaning and maintenance crew is fantastic. Front desk people change so often that it feels like you don’t know them. Security is still the main concern.

Problems are resolved quickly, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the place feels safe. However, the biggest drawback is the thin walls, which allow sounds from neighbors and the gym to be heard. Noise is especially noticeable when people use the machine for flipping an artificial tractor wheel or drop heavy weights.

I’m so glad I chose to move to The Gantry! I was looking for a studio or 1bd at a reasonable price that offered easy access to the metro and great amenities. Megan was so easy to work with and showed me 4 or 5 great options for apartments that were available on my timeline around my budget. Once I made my decision, the team helped me to move quickly on it. Living here has been great. The building is safe, the metro is a 5 minute walk around the corner, and the amenities can’t be beat.

Location is outstanding, near a Metro station and a plethora of restaurants, bars, eating establishments, shops, supermarkets, small markets, etc. I strongly recommend The Gantry.

The good staff - fantastic gym, most of front desk people very nice, close to metro., great maintace service. The bad staff - super noisy having apartment facing train track is a nightmare, security team is a joke, no security whatsoever, leasing office people are no help at all, parking is terrible

The neighbors upstairs have been incredibly noisy, and it's really starting to get on my nerves. The soundproofing in this building is so poor that I can hear everything they do, from footsteps to conversations, and it feels like there's no escape from the constant noise. It's becoming a real issue because it's affecting my ability to relax and focus at home. I've tried to ignore it, but the lack of proper sound insulation makes it nearly impossible to have any peace and quiet.
