I really like the location of the property in the amenities however, the staff doesn’t really want to communicate whether it’s regarding your apartment or your leasing application or maintenance request. I also don’t think anyone checks the apartments after they’ve been “”cleaned at move out. I think if an apartment has been sitting vacant for a while it should still be checked on for quality assurance , Especially if it’s been leased.

The Douglas is awesome. Anytime you have a problem with something you can use a mobile app to communicate to the Douglas Team. They respond back in a Timely manner. If you happen to go to the office and go speak with either CC or Cassandra, they are both engaged and at the same time wanting and willing to stop and help and try to find a resolution to any questions or concerns that the residence have. Both Kevin and His assistant, Joanne are always Wanting and willing to solve any concerns that the residents have about the Douglas. I love the fact that both of their office doors are always open to me is Important because it gives you or gives the residence that open door policy so that way someone can feel comfortable coming to them and being able to address again any concerns or problems that they feel that need to be addressed. Maintenance crew unbelievable they are polite, They are knowledgeable and ready to complete whatever task at hand that they have been instructed to do. I am constantly watching these guys work on keeping the property, well-maintained, tidy, and extremely presentable at all times so that way when CC and Cassandra are showing new potential residence the Douglas it really stands out that the Douglas is The place to stay at. That when Potential residence are done viewing the Douglas they save themselves. I’m done looking. This is the place that I wanna stay at. The reason for that is is that the crew that Wakefield and Cashman have put together here at the Douglas. I say hats off to Kevin, Joanne, CC, and Cassandra keep up the good work it shows.

The Douglas has gated access which provides more safety than apartment complexes which are open to the street. It is a quiet community with neighbors who are considerate of one another and do not have loud parties or anything that would disturb others. The pool area is very nice and usually well maintained. The apartments are spacious with a lot of cabinet space, nice appliances, and a great laundry room in your apartment. It is also located in a central location and only minutes away from all shopping, banking, and restaurants .

Price increased $827 during application process

Leasing agents were new and appeared unfamiliar with the floor plans. At the end of my property tour, I was quoted $1864 for my move-in date. Imagine my shock when I began the application process and saw $2691 as the rent! My inquiry as to why this happened went unanswered. Not everything can be blamed on the computer pricing. This is just sketchy.

Premium prices for an average experience. The units are nice with plenty of storage, but the grounds are not kept well. Maintenance requests are often closed without resolution.

I have nothing positive to say. It looks pretty on the outside but it’s not a good property. The management doesn’t answer the phones and maintenance requests are only addressed if they are an emergency. The price point is way higher than it should be. There is rust on the sink, discoloration on windows one of my windows doesn’t even close properly.

Some ratings might be kind of low, but after living here for two years there are definitely things I wish I knew before moving in. The poor craftsmanship in the apartments, (eg, how the valance for the blinds just falls off one day for no reason). The bathroom faucets pour toward the edge of the sink and create a wet mess. The dishwasher doesn't run a single cycle where it actually cleans dishes so I have to do them all by hand. Ceiling fans are all super noisy when they run. Not what I would have expected for a "luxury" apartment.

Major Issues - 1. Property management refuses to respond to emails in a timely manner. If they do respond, they won't take action on legitimate complaints even when evidence of the complaint is provided. 2. This is a non-smoking complex, but some residents don't care and they smoke anyway. 3. Residents openly flaunt the rules regardless of how many times management sends notices through the mobile app. You would think that residents wouldn't leave trash outside their apartments for days, but they do. Minor Issues - 1. The sinks are ridiculous. They chose sinks that look great, but the faucets are too close to the edge of the sink. Water always gets everywhere no matter what you do. 2. You can't change the lights in the ceiling fans unless you change the actual lighting unit. 3. You can't change the bathroom lights. 4. The windows are not properly sealed, or they won't easily shut or open. The wind howls through the cracks when it's windy. 5. The carpet was stained when I moved in. No, I didn't complain, but it shows you that they are too cheap to replace the carpets in between tenants, even though they charge a premium to live here. The location is great and from the outside it looks like it would be a nice place to live. It would be, but as with every other rental location in Vegas, the propery management is abhorrent. A lease is meaningless if it's not enforced because management is too lazy to do anything.

I moved here in May and immediately noticed poor design and cleanliness of the apartments. First, the carpet was dirty and there are grease stains on the countertops. There was also an immense dust build up on the carpets. Additionally, dust builds up within 2-3 days. Air vents are not clean, vents don’t flow well through the bedroom, making the living room very cold. In the summer, the AC is constantly on because the windows are not completely sealed. The AC is also very loud and echos through the apartment. I found a cockroach within 1 week of being there. Upon moving in, my AC wasn’t even working and was sweating in 90 degrees in my apartment. The faucets on all sinks is too close to the edge of the sink so it splashed everywhere. water pressure is too strong so every time I wash dishes, it creates a mess. The refrigerator cannot be opened while the dishwasher is opened. I’m very disappointed with this apartment complex. It may seem nice on the outside, but the inside is terrible. I would not recommend this apartment.

Gorgeous amenities and apartment aesthetics. Awful practical essentials. Bathrooms are the worst offenders. The master shower half door makes it impossible to shower without making a mess. The faucets are too close to the edge. This makes it difficult to not make a mess when washing your hands. Even if you do manage, good luck getting to the towel rack without getting water all over the floor. And the AC is constantly on. This is likely due to the windows having massive gaps that arent sealed. They let in a lot of hot air throughout the day. Since its an in unit AC its quite loud as well.

The grounds of the property are neet & clean. I feel safe from initial harm a side from the Pandemic.However, I believe there is more we can do collectively, to keep all residents safe during the Covid19 Pandemic.It starts with implementing face mask to ensure safety of all residents.This property should also think about an automatic door to the mail area after scanning our key device, so residents don't have to touch infected door handles just to retrieve their mail.These are small steps toward a safe enviroment for all residents.
