The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Athena
I applied 2 weeks ago and I got a call yesterday from them asking if I was still interested, meaning they didn’t know I applied. So I got called again that same day asking for check stubs when I already explained that I only have a letter of employment because I don’t get checks. They said that was fine. Then today I received a message saying that the letter needed to be notarized…WHY WASNT THIS SAID BEFORE!!! I’ve paid these people my money for the application and have still gotten nowhere with them. I have to be moved out by the 1st. It’s like it’s on purpose at this point
Water bill for the smallest apartments is over $100/month… this place is WAY more expensive than it claims. New paint only covers up what a runs down apartment this is… we can’t even get US mail here because the mailbox has been broken for three months!!! I mail for three months unless I want to drive a half an hour and wait at the stupid post office I regret renting here every day and cannot wait to leave. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
Do not move here i repeat do not move here; I wish i had more time to look for an apartment when i first moved to the Houston area b/c this apartment complex is horrible; roach infestation, sewage constantly backs up, pot holes everywhere, they lie to you and tell you the cameras working when they don’t, prostitutes every where, they don’t care about their residents they put on a show to get you to move in once you’re moved in they don’t care; i can say they do come out to fix the issue but then a day or two later you’re having the same issues but the saying is true you get what you pay for, if you want to have a sewage smell throughout your entire lease and you don’t care about sewage backups or pest infestation then I would say move here and if anyone would like to see pictures of the problems I’ve been having while living here then i would gladly show you cause I usually don’t write reviews but I hate to see them constantly acting like these are luxury apartments just because they are affordable. These are uninhabitable units and i wouldn’t recommend; I can’t wait for my lease to be up because I’m definitely not renewing. I’m actually trying to get a lawyer and take them to small claims court to break my lease now cause this is ridiculous

Prostitutes, dealers on the street. Where to start... bed bugs everywhere, mold on the restroom, refused to change the dishwasher, painted over mold, carpet older than me , floors have humidity, cockroaches on the ceiling corners just the worst apartments ever charge you for every single thing even a Maintence fee of $15 a month where they dont even like to come and change anything for you. DO NOT COME HERE.

There is no place like home my apartment in this community was hand picked my God, Just for me a place with purpose and destiny in mind. ...If you are looking for somewhere to live that continues to grow and prosper this is the place to be where the spirit of life is about to flourish.
Just toured the property and the one bedrooms are nice and spacious. Groubds are well kept and management is helpful and friendly. Great area and very quiet despite families living there. Kids are well behaved from the looks of it and several festive apartments! Seems like an amazing place to live
What a dump and a dangerous place to live. Anywhere in the area and you have a greatly increased probability of being involved in a homicide.
I walked in with skepticism of these apartments. But Luella held my hand and guided me through. The inside of the apartments are spacious, nice floors and ceilings. Parking is decent. If I have any problems maintenance are quick to respond. Prices are not outrageous for where I'm staying.
God forbid please do not even consider to live here. This is a terrible place and the parking is totally insane. We got our tires stolen which we went to report to management and absolutely nothing would be done. They do not cameras or whatsoever and we even found out there were also 5 other people got their tires stolen in the same day with us! This is so horrible and I am extremely disappointed. Security is such a big concern. I would not even recommend anyone to live here please for your own safely. I once caught a guy who peeked over my window at night and it was crazy. I speak from the very truth and please find somewhere else and live for your own good please. Terrible and zero star if I could.
I was searching for a apartment very quickly. My intentions were for a great price range, the area and how long my commute would be to work. I actually had a apartment ready for me at first but I never got to look in the actual apartment so when I was about to move in the place looked terrible. So when I came to work the next day I said this cant be my only option. I got on apartments.com again and boom I found the apartments I live in today. The staff was very helpful and helped with all the paperwork I needed to move in quickly. I'm really grateful that they were very upfront about their prices, the area, and what I could look forward to in the future living there. I'm truly happy and wish all apartments could be just like this.
Terrible neighborhood. Apartments full of bugs. They changed owners and the new owner took down everyone's satellites with no regard to tenants or the fact that they had acquired permission to have the satellites where they were. My daughter's apt has mold growing from the ac vents and it smells terrible. They rarely answer the telephone in the front office.
