Great building and amenities. The appliances need more regular maintenance and better access into the unit from the back patio. Most of the locks for the doors and windows needed work or replacement/ didn’t work or were loose.

SOMA at Brickell is a wonderful place to call home. Been here 5 years and the apartment complex is clean, new paint,fresh carpets,new pool furniture and clubhouse redone. Maintenance team is top notch and timely on repairs. Everything is close by and easy to walk everywhere. Metro rail and metro mover are 1 block away. Apartments have nice amenities and large. Quite apartment complex.

No cambiaría mi vida es Soma at Brickell por su excelente ubicación y servicio de mantenimiento en la unidad. Creo que podrían haber actividades o un espacio un poco más amigables para los niños que viven en soma. (Tengo un par de sugerencias que creo son fáciles de implementar). Definitivamente pondría sanciones sobre el comportamiento de los dueños de mascotas. Lo único que me hace pensar en irme de soma es encontrar popo por todas partes.

Decent spot to live if you don't mind overpaying to live in a glorified closet with constant construction noises, mean staff, and hallways and courtyards that smell awful. If you're lucky, the garage gate will be broken and your car will get keyed!

I wanted to really like this place but after 1 year, we decided to move out. Homeless in the building, trash in common spaces (including used preservatives at times - disgusting), car break ins, loud students, dog pee+poop everywhere in the halls, disgusting elevators and dogs barking non stop. The pros are only the low rent and location, other than that I wouldn't recommend moving here. The property management team is non responsive, the leasing consultant is always on video calls with family and makes you feel you are bothering her. She never has information and always needs to discuss it with her boss. Many other places in Brickell where you pay a little bit more and get a better experience.

My unit is very clean, great appliances and layout! The hallway carpets are dirty and smelly so those need to be removed and replaced, and the courtyard is a bit smelly too. With some improvements, SoMa could be 10/10!

Agnes and Kevin were a charm to work with. Agnes was very helpful in getting me situated, as well as very bubbly and fun, while Kevin helped me out as well, and gave me insight about the area. I moved here because you are walking distance from Brickell, which is where I work, it's affordable compared to what's nearby, and yet the interior is still upscale. I also chose this building because it is managed by Greystar, who's buildings I've stayed in twice before, all with good experiences. Things like valet trash, gated parking, in-unit washer/dryer, all these and more helped me feel confident to settle in at Soma @ Brickell.

My overall experience so far at Soma has been wonderful. I love my apartment unit, my view, all of the ameneties offered on site and the great service from facilities/maintenance crew as well as the great office staff. In comparison to where I previously lived, this building has a lot more security and surveillance as well as on site security guard at night. Location of this property is very convenient for everything as well.

Only thing going for SoMa is its location in Brickell… The cost of living here is too expensive for the diminished quality of life, experience, and amenities. For example, smelly passageways and broken elevators are a staple and because of that you may hesitate inviting visitors here or risk the embarrassment if they come through… also, good luck finding your package in the mailroom. Staff is nice and helpful but their hands are tied with the constant pressure to maintain a property that appears to be old and wreaked with inadequate technology… SoMa appears to have given up trying to become relevant in Brickell but continues to take advantage of the ongoing real estate hype in Miami through skyrocketing rent especially in Brickell.

I moved in to an apartment and there was mold on the closet wall. Left over trash in a barrel filled to the brim, with bugs inside. Incredible place, let dogs run around the courtyard and residents not cleaning up after them.

Location an easy walk to Publix, pharmacies, several banks, a variety of restaurants, and free public transportation, with the special Miami easy pass. And the lush green gardens, clean pool area, fitness room and special services makes it ideal for independent living!

SOMA Brickell is a rare find here in Miami.....lush gardens all around and quiet secluded courtyards; apartment meeting all ones needs; a wide variety of activities; friendly and helpful staff, esp good maintained experience; and excellent location, next to Metrorail, Metromover, buses, supermarket, pharmacies, banking a variety of restaurants, and a dog friendly park! What more can one want!

Everyone at Soma is incredibly professional and kind. We have only had a few problems with various appliances in the apartment and every time we have they have been fixed or replaced within a 12 hour period even when the order was submitted late at night or on a Sunday.
