3/5. Package room is unorganized. Easy to lose packages or not have your package make it from concierge to the package room. Sometimes maintenance requests will get closed out when no one has tried to resolve issue. On positive note when maintenance does come they are friendly and try hard to resolve issue. I like the layout of my apartment. Building feels safe.

Best place to live in DC. Very comfortable and convenient. Great staff & well kept property. It’s also the perfect location being on Capitol Hill next to Union Station & H St. It’s very easy to get to MD & VA, with tenting minutes away.

Wonderful staff in a beautiful group of buildings in an amazing location. My favorite is looking at the Capital and Washington Monument while letting my dogs get some fresh air in the morning.

We still love living at Senate Square and still think it's one of the best apartment buildings in DC! I wish the pool was wider/bigger/deeper but it's nice to have one. There needs to be an extra elevator in the Concord building or an extra freight elevator when people move.

Things have been fine for the most part. However, we've had several unscheduled water outages lately. The water bill has to come through the building as well, and is significantly higher than anywhere I have ever lived, in any kind of property in DC or elsewhere.

I really enjoy the apartment, complex and amenities. The move in instructions were conflicting and it was really difficult with the multiple portals/sites which made us upload redundant information. Now that we’re moved in and have things set up I think things should be better moving forward. The leasing team has been very nice.

Avoid Senate Square – Not Worth It! We’ve lived at Senate Square for three years, and we are beyond thrilled to finally be leaving. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere—this place is not worth the headache. Management is slimy and unhelpful, constantly dodging issues rather than fixing them. They’ll promise the world when you sign your lease, but once you move in, good luck getting anything addressed. Maintenance is slow, and while they are nice, things are rarely fixed correctly. The building itself is falling apart—broken amenities, constant issues, and elevators that seem to be out of service more often than they work. The “luxury” label is a joke. There are plenty of better options in DC. Don’t make the mistake we did—avoid Senate Square

The building continues to stand strong, especially with the renovations that have been taking place and those that have reached completion i.e the corridor project that was completed several months ago, the 3rd floor lounge that was redone and opened one month ago, and our apartment homes that are currently under thorough renovations. When faced with the challenge of declined elevator efficiency in select vestibules over a year ago, we switched vendors in an effort to improve the dependability & proficiency of our elevators. Our entire staff prides themselves on going the extra mile for residents while creating a sense of community amongst you all. Its been good resident experience. It started off awfully which is the reason for 4 stars. During move-in, the conceirge and leasing office lost the keys to my unit, could not find a way to open the parking garage for me to park my car, literally took 3 hours to get into my unit and had to replace the locks and everything. total nightmare. its been fairly good ever since, friendly maintenance staff and quick to help fix things.

Since living at Senate Square, I like being in my been my apartment. I like all the transportation options, and the grocery across the street.

Forever waiting for y'all to get us a stairmaster in the gym. Otherwise it’s definitely nice living here. Docking one star because they raised our rent after a year and we live in a unit that hasn’t been renovated in years.

The current team at Senate Square is A ! I moved from a smaller unit to a larger one and they could not have been more helpful. It is appreciated that the staff knows my name and looks for ways to be helpful. It feels like home and well, it is.

Its ok the move-in team could’ve did a lot better with making sure repairs were up to standard before me getting in the unit could’ve saved a lot of maintenance request forms

I am most disappointed that Bozzuto got rid of the permanent concierge staff; the temporary concierge staff are lazy and irresponsible. They don't log the packages in, therefore we don't received notifications from Luxer.

I have lied here for 5 years and love Senate Square! The apartments are up to date, and the maintenance team is amazing/timely! The leasing office is so friendly and has always gone above and beyond when it comes to lease renewal time. The amenities are great, though the gym could use a little make and the elevators have a mind of their own. The pros outweigh the cons dramatically. I have had multiple friends move into the community and have loved it!

The building located in a very Nice and quiet neighborhood. It is close to metro(less than 5 minutes) and many bus lanes, and very walkable.

Overall my experience at Senate Square is 4 stars. A few appliances are consistently breaking/out of order, but they usually do a timely job in fixing or replacing them. The apartment has a spacious dog park on the roof. This is a very dog friendly apartment complex. It would be nice if both apartment buildings could have their own gym. Overall, the day concierge is nice and helpful, but the night concierge can be inconsistent at times. I would rate the leasing office a 8/10. I have had a few issues with conditions in my apartment that inconvenienced my family and I without resolution so I’m rating the apartment a 4. Free parking is usually easy to find in the neighborhood so you don’t have to pay for apartment parking. The neighborhood is great, and the apartment is close to Union Station and Noma Station (10 min).

Like any apartment building, there are pluses and minuses. But the building management has listened and improved against the minuses. All elevators are running on a regular basis. Issues with the unit are remedied quickly. After 5 years here, would definitely recommend.

We love it here with the beautiful large floor plans, close to public transport, and clean facilities. Very close to shops, restaurants and grocery stores.

I love our location and amenities. The staff is kind and understanding. Not the biggest fan of the new carpet and paint choice. I thin it still seems dark in the hall Maybe lighting could help. Excited for the new club room.
