I have been a tenant for 2 years. I am very satisfied with the experience of living in this apartment community. I feel that I would suggest for someone to move into these apartments. I have had an overall enjoyable experience living here. I plan to stay here until I purchase me a home. The amenities that Prose SM affords the tenants are top tier. I love these apartments. The neighborhood is nice and pet friendly. Staff is always helpful. Maintenance responds quickly. Only complaint is towing, so have your guest check in.

I have lived here at Prose going on my second year now and I really enjoy it here! This is one of the safest communities and it is also pretty quiet. It has been great so far. Massive upgrade from our old apartment. Maintanence has been very quick with minor issues. Definitely not planning on moving for a few years.

When signing the lease, our move in date kept getting pushed back, resulting in my room mate and I having no place to live for nearly a month. The previous front desk worker that helped us is no longer there, but she caused us a lot of distress due to false promises of move-in dates and leasing specials. Our time since has been rather smooth. Maintenance is always timely and are kind. There has been cases of car/tire theft and vandalism. There was supposedly a new security hired, but is rarely seen

From the moment I inquired, they provided great service and made the entire move-in process seamless. My unit was ready, radiant, and in perfect condition. The complex is clean, and with a lot of amenities. I especially love that it comes with washer and dryer in the apartment, I would hate to have to take laundry up and down from the 3rd floor.

Prose South Main has an excellent staff of maintenance personnel as well as inside staff. Everyone is very polite helpful and knowledgeable. The property is always nice and clean.

After 15 months of living here i’ll say it’s a mediocre place to live. The staff doesn’t make you feel welcomed one bit. I ALWAYS felt uneasy going into the office, rude and have these uptight attitudes for whatever reason. The leasing staff doesn’t really care about your concerns, they will tell you they’ll return your phone calls and won’t. The assist manager is going to ignore you every chance she gets and when you do get a hold of her, she’s just gonna breathe into the mic and repeat the same question every time you call. You literally have to bother them day after day to get them to even recognize that you have a problem and after that it still won’t get solved. If the small chance of it being solved does pop up, it’ll be at the very last second and not in your favor. There’s dog poop EVERYWHERE so please make note of that, it’s as if doggy bags and trash cans don’t exist. If you like relaxing at the pool you may want to pass, each guest will have about 10 people minimum with them and they love to have music wars with the other families. You may even get a show of your neighbors fighting and screaming in the parking lot at 3 AM. Floor level also doesn’t matter because the walls are paper thin and you’ll be able to hear you neighbor cough regardless of you being upstairs, downstairs or on the corner. The train is also LOUD late at night. Your AC might start breaking for no reason, which is a dangerous game living in Texas and maintenance will ask you if you’re sure you can’t wait on them to come the next day and fix it. I literally don’t know how this property has a 4.0 anymore these reviews are DEFINITELY fake.
Clean community but they need to do more for their residents. Maintenance is awesome, office staff sucks.
Prose maintenance team is excellent. I can send out a request the night before and they are right at my door no more than 24hrs to fix whatever I need done

Overall, I have had a good experience living here.
Please do not waste your time inquiring about leasing at The Prose South Main. The apartments are cheaply made. The walls are very thin. The price ranges for the units are too expensive for the area. Management does not always respond to inquiries. There has been a constant issue with the electricity being out in several of the buildings due to the property's breaker system.

Prose South is and wonderful community to live in. Very family oriented, safe, and quiet neighborhood to stay in. My only recommendation is for the staff to make sure everything is properly in place and working before the residents move in, other than that I most definitely will recommend this property to friends and family.
The staff is phenomenal! Great and convenient location! Very affordable! A place I would definitely recommend.
