Property Ratings at Post Oak at Woodway
I strongly advise against living in this apartment complex. During several years of living here under the previous management, there were no issues: maintenance was always performed promptly and professionally, which was the reason we decided to renew our lease. Since the management changed, the situation has significantly worsened. The management completely ignores residents’ requests and fails to resolve problems: 1. The air conditioner in our apartment has been broken for about six months, and no repairs have been carried out. 2. Common areas are in poor condition: the grill is broken, dirty, and rusty; the pool is constantly dirty; the air conditioner in the fitness center does not work; and the gates are frequently malfunctioning and left open. 3. Apartments have started experiencing pest infestations, including outdoor cockroaches and gnats. 4. Trash collection is often delayed or not done at all. All written and in-person complaints from residents are ignored. Additionally, rent is increased immediately after the first lease term ends. Attempts to terminate the lease are met with numerous conditions, effectively preventing residents from moving out without financial penalties. I consider the actions of this management company to be dishonest and a violation of residents’ rights. I strongly recommend avoiding signing a lease with this complex.
The maintenance staff is always friendly and helpful. However, as to the community in general, the situation with the exit gate is completely unacceptable! For 3 or 4 months, it has been In operable thus eliminating “so called” security due to the entry gate standing open 24/7. Also, the office NEVER answers the phone nor returns messages! An ongoing issue.

Friendly management, convenient location. Apartment construction (flooring) causes noise issues from neighbors constantly. If you move in, make sure it's on the top floor.

I live in a comfortable apartment home with convenient attached garage. This is perfect for me. I'm located in the best part of Houston yet also hidden away from traffic by trees and landscaping. It's lovely here. Terrific Maintanence staff and Management.

Cozy, high-class, quiet apartment with high ceiling and large kitchen with balcony. Not a modern or newly developed apartment but a well-maintained property. Enough reserved parking for all residents. Next to the highway and close to Galleria is a plus.

Esme is wonderful and super helpful. The quality of the apartment. Has declined significantly since moving in. Two of the security guards are fantastic. However, most don’t pay attention and keep residents waiting for several minutes before opening the gates and don’t check IDs for non-residents.

We have always been very impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism displayed by the maintenance staff. In spite of it being the weekend and half the complex was still without power after a crazy storm, my request was handled very quickly. I knew they must have been busy and stated it wasn’t an emergency yet it was still handled quickly. We appreciate them very much!

I have lived at Post Oak at Woodway for 5 months and so far have had a great experience. Nice apartments, the grounds are well kept, management is responsive and nice and the other facilities (gym, pool and dog park) are great to have. I would recommend Post Oak at Woodway.

I am living in a comfortable, remodeled apartment complex that has all the amenities that I require. My neighbors a lovely people. And I especially like the attached garage for its convenience and safety. The guards at the front gate are attentive to security. Maintenance is responsive and effective. I am not bothered by outside noises even though I am located near convenient freeways. This location is excellent in Houston! I'm happy here!

After nearly a year here at Post Oak Woodway, I'm happy in my well-kept apartment and feel safe with a 24 hour guard at the gate. The manager is on-the-ball with maintaining these apartments. I receive personalized assistance when I need it. This is a fine location in Houston. I'm glad I'm here.

Mi experiencia viviendo en la comunidad es buena en algunos puntos, es bonito, cuidan bien de las áreas verdes y esta muy bien ubicada la residencia, pero actualmente la seguridad es super pobre, me robaron 2 bicicletas y por lo que veo siguen robando bicicletas. También que ahora casi todos los pasillos huelen a marihuana y es muy desagradable. Definitivamente tanto la seguridad como lo otro tienen que mejorar

Security is our priority in choosing this place and they provide 24hour of that aspect and the place is very quiet and peaceful and surrounded with beautiful trees and plants makes it so pleasant to walk around the the property

After owning a condo, I moved to the Post Oak @ Woodway about 8 yrs ago and the maintenance, the safety and the kept grounds are consistently on point. The staff also (and I have seen some changes in 8 yrs) are friendly and responsive to tenant needs. Overall, a very nic place to call home. Cynthia W.

The Post Oak at Woodway is a great place to call home. One of the positive things that I encourage me to fill out an application, is the 24/7 security. You do not have to worry about keeping up a remote to open the gate because someone is always there to open the gate. Also, the bedrooms are much larger for instances, I have two walk-in closets and sitting at the window in my master bedroom. So, I actually love it here!

The Post Oak at Woodways has the most lush gardens and prestine walking paths.The property is heavily guarded by security and long time residences. My apartment is absolutely gorgeous. I'm proud to call this place home.

I have lived at the River Oaks at Woodway over 2 months now. I like the floorplan of my apartment with the study between the 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is the right size for me with new appliances. Parking is convenient in a well lit garage. I'm happy here.
