The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Park at Salerno
Anytime you go to the front office, they ask if you can leave a 5 Star review for the complex. They must be dreaming if they think I would give this place 5 stars. If I could give this place no stars, I would. Management is horrible. Any concerns we’ve ever mentioned to the office assistant are met with excuses and no means to a solution. Phone calls are rarely picked up. Work orders for apartment repairs or maintenance are definitely not looked at in a timely manner. The outside complex itself is trashy. Trash bags are thrown on the grounds, coke cans, water bottles, and cigarette butts litter the back of the complex. Maintenance makes sure to keep the front entrance part of the complex nice and neat, but the back part of the complex is a hellhole. Children are not supervised on the playground or back pool area. There are boards hanging off of apartment units, holes in the outside walls, and the overall look of the outside grounds is just plain crappy. There’s no other way to explain its appearance and service. Just plain crappy. It’s a constant headache living here. We cannot wait to be able to move out and leave this place in the past where it belongs
This is a very nice, safe and quiet place where to live. The office staff is really committed to help and they always have an immediate answer to you requirements. I’ve been here for more than a year and it’s been a great experience. Go to the leasing office ask for: Cathy or Blanca. Professional ladies who can help you out on whatever you need!
Champion Forest has a very safe environment that allows anyone to feel welcomed. With an amazing work staff they never fail to meet your needs and will help you in the best way they can to make you feel like you are a apart of the community. I have had such a great experience living at Champion. My main concern before moving here was safety because I am a single mother. I can honestly say that I feel so safe living here and have not had any issues. They have an officer living on site walking the community which makes me feel at ease. The staff and maintenance are absolutely amazing and helpful! I would recommend this place to anyone!
This is my second year here at Champion Forest Apts. It started off a little rough but now that they have some great ladies that work in the off who really cares about their tenets. I really like the fact that they tell you that someone will be out the next day to complete the work order but if there is not too much going on the work order gets completed the same day. I look forward to coming home to this nice quiet community each day. I am a single woman and I feel safe here also. I love the fact too that there is a police officer who lives on site too. I have lived other places and have not felt the safeness and love that if feel here. So if you looking for somewhere tom call home, where management treats you like family. Come on over to Champion Forest Apartment Homes. Keep up the great work ladies you both are awesome.
I have lived here for 3 years now and give this place a 8 rating. Staff is easy to work with (if needed) Grounds and pool are well kept and the complex is great for animals. Neighbors are friendly and courteous to your needs.
The place is full of German cockroaches. They need an expert exterminator. If you think you can deal with them by yourself you are wrong. The place is too old which means old AC, ceiling dripping when it rains.
The management is simply awful. They are rude and as soon as you prove them wrong they will hang up on you and not answer the phone. This apartment complex feels that a Boxer is a bully breed, someone please explain that one too me. They take no preventative steps on pest control. The front gate has only worked for 2 months the whole time I have lived here. The other residents are filthy and leave trash all over the parking lot. The management also has a bad habit of being unavailable when pipes burst and your walls fill up with water, and the maintenance guys say oh sorry.. we can't cut in to your wall because our supervisor and the lady upfront are unavailable.
Staff has been great all issues addressed immediately apartment is older but in a great local. Had never lived in Apts b4 this. Has not caused me to break out in hives or have a nervous breakdown like I thought apartment living would!!!
Lots of roaches. When I moved in, my apartment was like roach city. 2 years later, extermination has not helped to rid them. Also, with the old management, if you were to report any problems, they would get swept under the rug and ignored. Hopefully the new management is better. The property is better, since certain neighbors have moved out. However, I see people who don't actually live here living with people under the table. Another downside is that rent has suddenly jumped up $100, and these apartments are really old.
