One Hermann Place is awesome- great staff, great amenities, free parking, Amazon Hub, gym, pool, dog park, coffee/tea, and great Social Events( most recently a cooking class making Pork Dumplings and Edamame as appetizer), and upcoming events like a movie by the pool. Safety is a high priority, although visiting guests can never understand the need for a key to travel around the complex. However, I do not mind the inconvenience considering the benefit of safety. I love that it is pet friendly, and they use a third party to manage tracking for vaccinations/ behavior ( with digital alerts). The common areas are kept clean, and the management company just power washed building plus cleaned outside windows. Preventive maintenance is carried out to insure fire alarms, and carbon monoxide alarms are in working order. Management staff are all very responsive, maintenance orders timely completed, and concierge services are excellent. The Sky Lounge/Club Lounge have received new furnishings.

For the most part it’s great. Staff is nice and responsive. They actually make things happen and get things done. Maintenance is quick to respond. Homes are nice. The carpet replacement was a nice touch. Landscaping is nice. The gyms are well kept. Grounds are kept up. The stairwells could be cleaner. They often have debris. Residents leave items in the frieight elevator area. The outside of the building needs a good power wash. Concierge service is great. So overall, minor issues. Great place to live. Highly recommend.

I have lived at OHP. eight years . There are many choices in Houston I remain at OHP. I do look at other places that have better walkability such as a grocery store and restaurants below. I remain at OHP. There is a certain sense of comfortability about the atmosphere within the building. I can not really explain it but it exists.!

OHP is an easy place to live. Management and staff, Kelsey, Jackie and Maira respond to questions and concerns timely, and Rambelto and his staff handle repair work orders the same day or next day latest. Nabil and concierge staff are friendly and professional. Social events keep the staff and residents connected. All good.

Great staff and beautiful unit. Wish garage had better lights, it’s really dim. Water doesn’t get hot immediately so you have to run it for a while. Also the water temp when showering is inconsistent, so I had maintenance come by multiple times this year and apparently nothing is wrong. So it seems that’s just how it is. Depending on where your unit is located, the garbage disposal is a far walk. They stopped garbage valet services. But they still have recycle valet! If you can get over these things, it’s a nice location for sure.

I’ve had an amazing experience living in this apartment. From the moment I moved in, I felt welcomed into a warm, homely environment. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, making it a truly comfortable place to live. The management team is absolutely fabulous—friendly, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure residents are happy and helped in. I couldn’t ask for a better place to call home!

Overall, it’s a great place to live. Staff is nice. Maintenance is quick. Community events are frequent. Common area spaces are nice. They do updates like new carpet in the hallways. The landscaping is nice. The concierges are great. Shuttle services are nice. The building could use some power washing and the pool could be kept cleaner. But these are minor. I’d live here again and recommend it.

Staff are great and make a big difference in my experience living here. Little things - garage lights are pretty dim. Recycle valet is nice. It can be a long walk to throw out garbage depending on which side of the complex you live. Mailing is safe.

One Hermann Place is the ideal location and residence for us, a retired couple. If you are looking at independent living options in a retirement community, please consider OHP as an alternative. The OHP community is diverse and interesting, and management hosts many events to help connect people. The apartments are lovely and upscale and the amenities such as gym, pool, 24-hour concierge and emergency repair services, are first-rate. It's very quiet and very secure, and the proximity to museums and Hermann Park makes it an ideal location. We're very glad we chose OHP!

3rd year leaving at One Hermann! It's still the best apartment I've ever lived in, the location is perfect, and the staff are very helpful. However, the soundproofing is not very good, so the dog can hear loudly. Overall, it’s such a great apartment to live!

One Hermann Place is a wonderful place to call home. I have lived here for seven years and am retired. Two very important aspects are location and management! We are within walking distance of the majority of the museums, the zoo, and Miller Outdoor Theater. The 7th floor lounge allows views of the Texas Medical Center, the Galeria area, and downtown Houston. The first floor lounge and pool area are beautiful. Now to the most important point. The staff at OHP are wonderful- pleasant, professional and always working on improvements/ social events etc. Maintenance is very responsive and work well with concierge for repair times, especially when a furry friend needs to be contained for the repair. Concierge are friendly, very helpful to both my immediate family, but also to outside guests( who can rent an apartment on site while visiting). Parking is free, but reserved spot can be paid for on monthly basis. Electric charge station each floor of garage. Best apartment in Houston!

Great place to live. My only negative are the dogs howling and barking especially in the early morning and late at night; but there’s nothing that can be done about that. The management staff is really good.

Overall, it's positive. Staff is responsive to issues and courteous. The concierge team, maintenance, and shuttle driver are nice people. The grounds are secure and I feel safe. The housekeepers and staff keep the grounds looking nice. Great Houston location as well. The outside building walls could use a power wash and I wish the garage doors closed more softly so they didn't wake me up, but these are minor issues. Overall, I would recommend living here.

LOCATION, LOCATION , LOCATION !!! I’m in my 3rd year as a resident at OHP . As an older, single female security is always my first priority ! OHP delivers inside and out ! The management and staff are the BEST . Professional and competent yet warm , friendly and accommodating make for a feeling of family! Hermann Park , the museum district and the world class Texas Medical Center are all within walking distance. If you choose not to walk , take the OHP van to your destination !!! No need to hunt for a paring spot . What more could you want in a home !!! Come check us out !!!

I love Hermann! The building is secure, the amenities are fabulous, our monthly socials and events are fun and entertaining, beautiful pool and gym!
