Property Ratings at Norterra Canyon Apartments
Overall an okay place to live. It is kept very clean and is very quiet depending on the building. Police where in and out very often. The maintenance isn’t always very attentive. My washing machine broke and they never came to fix it and all of my clothes molded in the washer. When we were in the process of moving out squatters broke into our apartment. Other than that the apartment was very beautiful.
Really bad experience here , pray you never got any appliances gone bad because the maintenance it’s terrible at responding to fix or replace, the POOL 80% it’s always broken and it’s always the pump got broke or they need to call a company to put chemicals etc summer it’s almost gone at the Pool was closed most of the times both of them !!! Don’t move if you don’t believe me go check the pools I bet you they are going to be closed
I'm very disappointed in these apartments. I noticed the apartment utilities (water, trash and common area electric) started to increase $10 every month. My first bill started at $25, my current bill is $76, that is more than my energy bill as I am hardly ever home. I called the office a few times and left messages and no returned call, I finally got ahold of Mercedes, who was extremely rude and unhelpful, she said there is nothing they can do, I have to pay it. She told me to pick and choose my battle and this is a battle I wont win and to pay it or I would be evicted, which I didn't understand because I wasn't arguing or fighting with her, I just wanted her to look into it because it seemed wrong to me. If I had known these utilities would be this high, I would have gone somewhere else. Something is very wrong here.
The complex doesn't have their stuff together. They messed up on your paperwork for the amount of rent you need to pay. I just moved in August 19 and I've received two notices telling me that I'm late on my rent or that I still have a balance due. But I pay my rent on time. The recent switch in management companies has caused a lot of confusion. And they make it seem like it's the tenants fault. I also have been waiting since my move in date a month ago for them to fix numerous things around my house.
I have lived at the arrow canyon apartments for over 5 years. We have gone through multiple management companies which means lots of changes. My apartment unit is very nice we have stainless steel appliances and granite counters. The floor plans of the units are very spacious and there are 6 different floor plans to choose from. I do wish that the common areas were kept cleaner and that we had assigned parking.
Apartment interior is nice-granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and nice carpet. Some appliances break easily- my dishwasher never worked and they tried to fix it multiple times.The management switches often, and the front gate is a pain because they charge $60-80 for new gate keys and most people don't have them anymore. It's a safe area though. Nice pool open late sometimes. Rent seems a little high for what you get- I pay about $930 after utilities.
Arrow Canyon community is a great complex! The have granite counter tops in the bathrooms and the kitchen, and you get the stainless steel appliance kitchen package! I was looking for something that doesn't really give me the apartment feel but a HOME feel. This was the best decision I have ever made. I have been here for 2 years and do not plan on moving any time soon.
These apartments were once "top of the line". These days, you'll find yourself living in a dump, and that's not including the smell of the pig farm that travels to the neighborhood. Trash is always all over the place, due to some irresponsible tenants, and the lack of care the grounds workers put in. Inside the units are decent, due to the upgrades this complex decided to start with. Eventually, once you get use to seeing granite in the kitchen and bathroom, you go outside to find dog poo at every corner and angle. Service request go unanswered by maintenance. The pools are hardly open, kept lock for most of the summer, and when they are open you find yourself questioning the cleanliness of the water. Many of the units they offer go uncleaned until you are giving your deposit, so be aware of possible scorpion or cockroach infestations. Enjoy your stay........
These apartments are on the newer side, even including a wine rack in the kitchen. Pet friendly and the managers are good. Only thing that's not good is the smell of a Pig farm nearby, but that's a problem all neighborhoods have here. The gates are faulty sometimes but usually fixed quickly.
