Tropical and busy, Midtown Miami is everything you love about Miami and more. Located on Biscayne Bay and featuring that distinctively pastel color palette Miami is so famous for, Midtown is more than palm trees and ocean views. This is Miami's place to shop, home to the Shops and Midtown, a huge outdoor shopping district. It is directly south of the Miami Design District, slightly north of Downtown. Midtown features a variety of office buildings and is home to the Art Miami art fair.
Midtown Miami contains two distinctive neighborhoods, Wynwood and Edgewater. Wynwood is famous for its shops, restaurants, and outdoor murals. Edgewater is far more residential, providing a variety of high-rise apartment buildings and luxury condos along Biscayne Bay. Miami Beach is directly east of Midtown Miami, roughly four miles away along I-195.

Property Ratings at Midblock
The lady at the front desk (Jaquetta) basically ruined my experience here. There are many other buildings to choose from. Do not patronize people who have poor customer service and do not care about the residents.
Front desk is rude and not helpful when checking in. Cannot locate reservations, charges extra fees at check in, provides no help.
Midblock looks like a nice, modern apartment building in a busy, fun neighborhood but I would feel sorry for someone if they moved into the building in its current state. 60% of the units are used exclusively as Airbnb vacation rental apartments. The Airbnb rates are pretty cheap so you get the kinds of tourists that pack 8 people into a 2 bedroom apartment. It’s cheaper than a hotel! There is a constant stream of strangers coming and going and so there is no community feel to the building. Relatedly, there have been a couple of thefts from apartments in the last few months. Besides that, the pool and gym are always packed. 25% of the units are currently up for sale. Nobody wants to own a condo in this building anymore, and nobody who rents here wants to stay. Consider yourself warned.
