Waban is a suburban community just west of Boston, one of thirteen villages that compose the city of Newton. The area is almost entirely residential, characterized by quiet neighborhood streets lined with charming, single-family homes as well as upscale apartments and condos. Just across Boylston Street to the south, you’ll find a popular cluster of restaurants and shopping centers in Newton Upper Falls, with numerous golf courses and parks surrounding the village as well.
Several of the Boston area’s countless colleges and universities sit within just a few minutes of Waban, including Boston College and Babson College. Easy access to Interstate 95 and MBTA light rail service make it easy to get around the region and help to make Waban a popular home base for Boston-area commuters.
