Nestled in the seclusion of Nevada’s mountainous terrain, McCarran is a small rural community situated outside of Sparks and Reno, located approximately eight and 11 miles outside of town along Interstate 80, respectively. Residents of McCarran travel into either of these cities for work or leisure. This small town provides easy access to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, several casinos and resorts, amusement parks, golf courses, and sprawling parks like the Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. Although McCarran is mainly industrial, this small town offers unbeatable access to major metro areas in suburban Nevada. Residents enjoy visiting the wild West Motorsports Park for entertainment.
