I love being in a diverse community. The neighborhood has lots of business and things to do with my kid. Only downside is with all the constuction traffic is congested and sometimes even dangerous for walker.

There are a good amount of opportunities for people who want to work in the restaurant industry, but as someone trying to get out of that area, it can be hard to find a job. I am looking towards working in the art field, namely around history and education, and I cannot find a paying job in my field at all. There are a lot of unpaid internships, but it can be hard to slave away at an internship while going to school full time and still find money to pay the bills. In addition, flexible retail jobs only start at minimum wage, which is very hard to live off of.
