It would be great if public transportation (MARTA train) could make it to the area. The battery is great to be next to and Vinings has a few good restaurants and pretty good shopping.

I've always enjoyed the beautiful lush scenery and the friendly people that accompany the suburb. It offers a vast array of activities, shops, and restaurants to a wide demographic and holds a convenient geographical position. Being approximately twenty minutes away from every major spot in town including school makes life just a little bit easier. It is a peaceful place for peaceful people.

There are many things I love about the Vinings. The nightlife is decent. There are very urban shops and stores all around and a lot of the houses and apartments are very modern and updated. It's a real suburbia. Its very family friends and also has nice family oriented hangout spots.

The overall area is improving due to the relocation of the Atlanta Braves' baseball stadium, however there happens to be a high crime density here.
