Very nice location with parks on both sides. Easy and nearby access to stores like H.E.B., Walmart, Kroger, gas stations...all in walking distance. Near Washington with easy and close access to Night Life. Very friendly and helpful Office and Maintenence staff. A great view of downtown at the Pool. A nice gym and game room
After comparing multiple apartment communities, I had moved into Jackson hill apartments, seems my decision is right. This community has spacious rooms, well ventilation to all most all rooms. Walking space, well planned corridors, nice staff enhanced my living here. Thank you

The community has a small town feel to it, it's quiet and quaint and feels tucked away from the world yet it's close to everything. The neighborhood has a lot of people that are out walking and running so it's a very active community and very walkable. Any maintenance request upon moving in was quickly and efficiently addressed.

I have lived at Jackson Hl for many years. The complex offers many boxes to check ...location encouraging long walks next to the bayou and central for commuting. The units, many remodeled, are spacious and well appointed. The management in both leasing and maintenance are responsive and genuinely care. On top of those positives, it is a pretty location with well maintained landscaping and views from many units. Lastly, it is friendly. The community is welcoming and lots of dogs with their "parents" out walking them, encourage easy introductions

Jackson Hill has the feel of a home while living a few minutes from downtown. The views are spectacular, accessibility to the parks and grocery stores are amazing, friendly staff, pet friendly, and great apartments for the city life with homely vibes.

In 2023 I was excited to become a resident of Jackson Hill and enjoyed my new home. However, it is my opinion in 2024 there have been too many incidents of theft for a gated community. I am also disappointed that the juliet door issue has not been a higher priority for management to resolve. Thank you.

I only moved in because I was assured by the leasing agent that the garage was safe and had security. It turns out that’s not the case and my car as stolen after just three months. Over the next six months two more cars have been stolen and three have had their wheels and tires stolen. Ownership doesn’t care and ignores management.

Overall, it’s not a bad place to live, but there are issues that must be addressed going forward. I understand it is part of the business model to focus on new business units, but you should also place some focus on keeping current residents happy. I enjoy living here, but I am also constantly worried that I will come out to the garage and my car will be broken into (again), or stolen.

Greystar (property management) has been doing a poor job keeping up with maintenance and communicating with its tenants. We have water continuously flooding our dining area and entire bedroom. No updates received in the last 3 weeks. We were promised someone would be by to help us clean the water out of our apartment and carpets but no one ever showed. Maintenance tickets were closed because they “couldn’t keep them open too long” thus creating a false illusion that they are on top of things which really isn’t the case. Gates and elevators and constantly breaking. No sense of urgency in sight. There is certainly room for improvement.

Lived here for couple of years. Can't beat the location and efficient maintenance team. Amenities are non-existent - gym is tiny, pool has broken umbrellas around it. Leasing team is ok - they have been more or less pleasant if I had to encounter them. However, the upgrades construction has been going on for a year and it has been a pure hell - loud, inconsiderate, and never-ending construction. Definitely the place is not worth the price tag.

I have lived at, and returned, to Jackson Hill 3 times after moving out of state or buying a condo. Management team of Kari, Jacob and Ernie work very hard, along with the entire team to make JH a safe, clean and peaceful place to live. Lately there has been a major improvement project that has us a bit disrupted. There is however, finally an end in sight and this project is wrapping up. Overall, the apartment complex is wonderful. The employees are accommodating and considerate, as long as you ask for help, you'll likely get it. The location is nearby beautiful walking paths and dog parks along the bayou. The only few bugs I've encountered in my 2nd-floor apartment are those I accidentally let in through the door myself. Many people might have concerns about the construction, but I take it as a good sign they addresses issues rather than drag their feet about fixing things. Many apartments like to identify as "pet lovers", and I've been disappointed that most of those places only give love to domestic pets (i.e., cats and SOME dogs, not even fish or hamsters.) but Jackson Hill is accepting of all kinds of animal companions. Jackson Hill also has plenty of guest parking, although guests will have to tolerate that it is all located on the rooftop of the parking garage (lots of turns going up and down)-- I've never seen it come close to full capacity.

Good spacious apartments with all amenities. Great location next to Buffalo Bayou park and trails. Elevators are not very reliable and require an upgrade. Overall this property is good value for money. Staff is very responsive.

I spent 2 years at Jackson Hill. It is the best community where I have lived. The tenants are really respectful and friendly. The staff is on top of things. I did not have any problems during my stay here!

Since Greystar has taken over, building construction and overall service has been extremely slow and communication has become very impersonal and difficult. Rarely do I reach a staff person unless I go into the leasing office. Overall property management is not good, not because of the on-site staff, but because of Greystar management of resolving issues.

Excellent management and maintenance staff , fully secured apartment with all modern facilities like free coffee/tea vending machine, free wifi , gym and swimming pool facilities .Location is also very nice it is near to buffalo bayou park and rental cycle stand .

Jackson Hill Luxury Apartments has exceeded all of my expectations. The property is meticulously maintained from the groundskeeping to the cleanliness of outdoor hallways and common areas. The leasing staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, my experience felt like a concierge leasing staff service. The apartments are very well maintained as well. The view from the saltwater pool is calming and the business center is actually a functioning space. Add to that a perfect location, and a safe gated community, it all sums up to a fantastic place to live!

The Jackson Hill by Greystar is more than an excellent property. The community provided by neighbors, residents and staff is outstanding. Thankfully, this complex is located in the most desirable and accessible area of Houston. Second from the beauty of this complex and the superb upkeep serviced by personable and experienced maintenance crews, I love the amenities provided here as well as the finishes. You can definitely decorate according to your definitive design style. Last, as I mentioned beforehand, the staff here really are great and leasing was a truly a breeze. I’d really like to commend Keandra P. for her excellent work and for diligently answering my many questions. She made planning a move here an absolute joy and I very much appreciate it. Jackson Hill has a great location with walkable parks immediately adjacent to the apartment building. Would recommend above any of the apartments nearby.

Generally speaking living here is nice. The pool, view, and location great. However the elevator never works, there have been serious water issues from balcony doors and ceilings, the parking is assigned and never on the floor you live on. Management just changed however they don’t respond to emails.

I moved from out of state this past summer into this apartment. The staff is great, the apartment are clean, quiet, and close to the sounding community grocery store, parks, restaurant, etc. I feel very safe living alone here and will most likely renew my lease.
