This is by far the dirtiest apartments I have ever lived in. From pest LACK of control, to the trash left on every floor/garage access. One elevator working the majority of the time so plan 10-15 minutes to just get to the floor you need. 1 star.

First off, being on the 20th floor means my view is absolutely incredible. Seriously, it's one of the best perks of living here. Waking up to the city lights or watching a storm roll in over the skyline never gets old. And there's just something about the hi-rise lifestyle that I genuinely enjoy—the energy, the feeling of being up above it all, and the convenience of having so much right at my doorstep. The location is phenomenal. You just can't beat being right in the heart of downtown Houston. Walking to Astros or Rockets games, hopping on the Metro Rail, or having countless restaurants and entertainment options just a few blocks away is incredibly convenient. My balcony is surprisingly spacious for a downtown apartment, and the living room space in my unit is also quite generous, which I appreciate.

Houston House Apartments is an amazing place to live, with incredible views, great amenities, and a prime location in the heart of downtown. The staff is generally friendly, and the building has a lot of potential for a luxury living experience. That said, communication from management could definitely be improved. There have been several times where updates or responses took longer than expected, leaving residents feeling in the dark. Additionally, the cleanliness of the common hallways could use more consistent attention—especially in high-traffic areas. A regular cleaning schedule would go a long way in keeping the space feeling polished and professional. Aside from those issues, I’ve really enjoyed living here. The atmosphere, amenities, and location make it worth considering—just hoping to see those small areas of improvement addressed soon.

I have not moved in yet but so far the experience has been all good. The apartment has a great view of Downtown H-Town and the location is AWESOME! If you're looking for a great place at a great price you more than likely will end up here so check out the Houston House.

This is a great place to live. The staff is friendly and they take good care of the residents. This location is close to the Medical Center, CVS, downtown, ect. I really like living here.

I question the business practices of Houston House and greystar apts because of all the maintenance issues that all the amenities need and for how long the maintenance has been needed but they can spend money on a lobby renovation. A renovation that is ugly too also the SECURITY GATE for the garage has been broke for the last 3 months. Which mind you is violation to the lease in that when signed it was under the pretense that all amenities and safety features were to be up kept by the apt building and the over head company as well.

Erik, thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We appreciate all feedback. The renovations for the pool area and the outdoor sitting area on the 9th floor are now complete other than adding new plants to the planters. The flooring in the basketball court was replaced and it reopened and it's been open now for several months. We're bidding out painting the interior of the court now. The ftness center is the next major renovation. All equipment is working and it will remain open until the renovaton begins.This is expected to be complete by June/July of this year. The residential hallways are currently being repainted with an updated color scheme as well. The lobby refresh is key to making a good first impression for prospective new residents. The more people we can attract and get moved into the building, the more income can be generated so that further improvements can be made. if you have any further questions the Communiy manager will be more than happy to give you any updates you'd like.
This apartment complex is awesome. We love living here. Great location and very great staff. I would recommend anyone who loves downtown to move in.

Great place to live! Amazing views! Love my unit! Super close to all the highway entrances! Tons of great places to eat nearby! 2 coffee shops and a park one block away! Staff is super friendly! Was originally in a 2 bedroom for 1.5 years and just moved to a corner unit and am blown away every time I come home and look out my windows. Love it here!

I had a fantastic stay at Houston House Apartments! The location is ideal, with easy access to local attractions and dining. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The view is great, besides people pouring chemicals and whatever else from their balconies above, the upkeep of the building and the amenities are slim to non existent, but the actual apartment is okay besides the horrible popcorn ceilings AND walls, and the outdated balcony doors that let a lot of air and noise in, only half of the laundry room actually works and there is always bleach and animal hair in the machines. The gym is outdated and always smells like trash, but they also have a basketball court. Not the worst but not the best at a decent price for the location. They are doing a little painting and updating lobby furniture, so I’ve seen some new efforts since moving in.

We'll also be happy to go over the improvements in progress and what's upcoming. The pool deck and outdoor sitting area are now both complete. The first of the residential hallways have paint completed with more to come throughout the year.
I live very comfortably at Houston House, the people who work here and the neighbors have been very kind to me, when I have had some damage in my apartment and I have asked for it to be fixed, they have done it immediately and that speaks to the efficiency and professionalism of the maintenance people, I am very grateful to Jeff and David who have always made me feel at home.

I like it here, close to everything. Great view, nice pool and BBQ, Oscar was very helpful getting all set up. This was my last move, hopefully.

living here is good, especially for the convenience of downtown. it’s a very quiet community, not too much noise pollution, there’s a dog park adjacent so it’s very convenient for dog owners as well.

Location is the best part of this community. The roaches and lack of consistent hot water is overwhelming. I feel that this place needs to undergo a renovation being its the oldest complex. It has much potential and a real concierge would be great.

I generally like living here. It's usually a quiet and peaceful place to live. I like having central air/heat, a dishwasher and a great terrace view. Maintenance calls are generally responded to right away. The people that work in the office and the front desk are friendly and do their best to get things done and make this a better place to lice. I do, however, have a chronic roach problem that seems to be best controlled with glue traps.

The Houston House had great views of downtown. Close to many restaurants and entertainment. Getting around great and is one block from the metro railway.

I love loving here! The staff is great and the location is very central. I love hanging by the pool and using the outdoor grills. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. The only charges that vary from month to month are the utilities. The rest of the monthly charges are set in your lease contract. If you're have issues with pest control, you can contact the office or submit a work order online. Pest control is every Tuesday. We'll be happy to get you taken care of.
Not too bad, something could change as far as way payments go for a rent. However I can’t complain, the people at the front and leading work with me and I guess others and can be helpful.

The Houston house apartments. I do like them but for me. I'm having to move because I need something that's gonna be more affordable. I don't like the fact that the rent is going up. But other than that I have enjoyed being here at the houston house apartment's

I moved in around 6 months ago, very convenient and close my work area. I don’t have to navigate through Houston traffic which is a plus. The view is amazing plus the staff is super friendly and hospitality. So far so good.
