The apartment floor tile is separated and coming up and have not been replaced and I have complained about this issue for over eight months.
The apartment is extremely unorganized, and the communication is honestly terrible. Nothing gets done unless you’re constantly in their face about it, and the staff always seems to be all over the place with no real system in place. It’s frustrating and exhausting to deal with—but overall, the apartments themselves are actually very nice, which makes the situation even more disappointing.
I feel it was awesome. Very quick and smooth process when with leasing. They find the best deals for you and lock you in. Even after all the calls and concerns I had lol. Thanks Marissa.
Debbie has been so much help during all the process. From giving me a detail tour of the units and recreational areas, to informing me of the current promotions, to all the steps needed to complete the leasing process.

I applied for an apartment at this complex and paid both the application fee and security deposit. After submitting everything, no one contacted me for over two weeks. They didn’t answer my calls or emails. When I finally visited the office in person, I was told my application was “still pending.” Over the next few weeks, I kept getting different and contradictory answers from the staff. After a month, they still claimed my application was pending. I eventually requested a refund and they returned my security deposit only after eight weeks, and never refunded my application fee. The property is poorly managed, the staff are disorganized and untrustworthy, and communication is almost nonexistent. I strongly recommend not applying to this complex.

Love this place, for me the second time around. No regrets, the new GM is pretty and awesome. Great new gym, new pool area, 4 new pool grills, many new updates.

I like the apartments but, elevators always have issues.. the gate is always broken.. management needs to a better job at repairs. The amenities are great here, pool, basketball court and gym.. overall very nice apartments in a downtown area with a nice view.. just need the essentials to be working when I come home from work

The parking garage it’s a big problem they have never fix my tag the answer it’s I don’t know ! That doesn’t fix my problem I’ve been multiple times and nothing has changed.
The worst. If you have any major issues expect them to be ignored. Minor updates to useless amenities but not worth the rent price or headache that comes from living in this building.
Overall good experience...... small issue with little roaches in kitchen, and u can here thru the wall, and low ceiling... but mai tenance is quick and staff is nice

I love the location of the building, but if only the building itself was clean. That is my only complaint, the building is very dirty in all common areas…. Parking garage, elevators and elevator lobbies, hallways etc….

This is by far the dirtiest apartments I have ever lived in. From pest LACK of control, to the trash left on every floor/garage access. One elevator working the majority of the time so plan 10-15 minutes to just get to the floor you need. 1 star.

First off, being on the 20th floor means my view is absolutely incredible. Seriously, it's one of the best perks of living here. Waking up to the city lights or watching a storm roll in over the skyline never gets old. And there's just something about the hi-rise lifestyle that I genuinely enjoy—the energy, the feeling of being up above it all, and the convenience of having so much right at my doorstep. The location is phenomenal. You just can't beat being right in the heart of downtown Houston. Walking to Astros or Rockets games, hopping on the Metro Rail, or having countless restaurants and entertainment options just a few blocks away is incredibly convenient. My balcony is surprisingly spacious for a downtown apartment, and the living room space in my unit is also quite generous, which I appreciate.

Houston House Apartments is an amazing place to live, with incredible views, great amenities, and a prime location in the heart of downtown. The staff is generally friendly, and the building has a lot of potential for a luxury living experience. That said, communication from management could definitely be improved. There have been several times where updates or responses took longer than expected, leaving residents feeling in the dark. Additionally, the cleanliness of the common hallways could use more consistent attention—especially in high-traffic areas. A regular cleaning schedule would go a long way in keeping the space feeling polished and professional. Aside from those issues, I’ve really enjoyed living here. The atmosphere, amenities, and location make it worth considering—just hoping to see those small areas of improvement addressed soon.

Experience is good; however, residents can keep property cleaner by picking up after themselves and putting the equipment back in the gym area.

I have not moved in yet but so far the experience has been all good. The apartment has a great view of Downtown H-Town and the location is AWESOME! If you're looking for a great place at a great price you more than likely will end up here so check out the Houston House.

Nice place to live make home has great amenities and staff a dog friendly place. Has a dog park across the street and accessible to every thing train is two blocks away

This is a great place to live. The staff is friendly and they take good care of the residents. This location is close to the Medical Center, CVS, downtown, ect. I really like living here.

I question the business practices of Houston House and greystar apts because of all the maintenance issues that all the amenities need and for how long the maintenance has been needed but they can spend money on a lobby renovation. A renovation that is ugly too also the SECURITY GATE for the garage has been broke for the last 3 months. Which mind you is violation to the lease in that when signed it was under the pretense that all amenities and safety features were to be up kept by the apt building and the over head company as well.

The renovations for the pool area and the outdoor sitting area on the 9th floor are now complete other than adding new plants to the planters. The flooring in the basketball court was replaced and it reopened and it's been open now for several months. We're bidding out painting the interior of the court now. The ftness center is the next major renovation. All equipment is working and it will remain open until the renovaton begins.This is expected to be complete by June/July of this year. The residential hallways are currently being repainted with an updated color scheme as well. The lobby refresh is key to making a good first impression for prospective new residents. The more people we can attract and get moved into the building, the more income can be generated so that further improvements can be made. if you have any further questions the Communiy manager will be more than happy to give you any updates you'd like.
This apartment complex is awesome. We love living here. Great location and very great staff. I would recommend anyone who loves downtown to move in.

Great place to live! Amazing views! Love my unit! Super close to all the highway entrances! Tons of great places to eat nearby! 2 coffee shops and a park one block away! Staff is super friendly! Was originally in a 2 bedroom for 1.5 years and just moved to a corner unit and am blown away every time I come home and look out my windows. Love it here!

All I have to say is, this place is extremely dirty. Staff barely cleans and tenets are so dirty, they’re always leaving trash everywhere. Specially in the parking garage. Smh…
