The Conceirge staff are incredible with a smile and greeting each time I come home. Marvin always gets my packages right!! The building staff repair things quickly and keep things so clean. The redesign was resulted in higher noise levels—they didn’t take I to consideration about the noise with the new materials. We have been struggling with a smoker—marijuana—on the balconies for a while. Some residents do not use the trash room respectfully. They do not dispose of their trash well. Bags are too big and then everyone deals with the mess and smell. We have had a full turnover of management and they are getting things better but not sure it is worth the high price without laundry in unit.

Moving into a new apartment, there are a few problems such as dirty windows, stained stove top, faulty hinge that casues cabinets to not close all the way. Moving in for 5 days, I have contacted the front desk for maintenance twice and both times maintenance did not show up.

I'm moving in and enjoying the experience a lot. I love the building and amenities, as well as the neighborhood. I do have a couple of suggestions: 1. I would not make the front doors to automatically close, since it could be a hazard to be locked out with you kid or dog inside. 2. I would add a numerical passcode to move around the building, in addition to the fob. Thanks!

Favorite managed building I have lived in! Staff is fantastic and makes everyone feel welcome. Location can't be beat downtown -- everywhere is convenient. Recent renovations make the building look great, and the amenities are fantastic, particularly the gym. Whenever I have questions, someone is always available for an answer.

We love our little city sanctuary in the sky overlooking the beautiful Charles River. Living here at the Devonshire has been an amazing experience from day one and continues to impress us. From the friendly staff to the beautiful amenities, to the fun resident events, we have everything we need right here. Maintenance on time, lovely neighborhood and neighbors, very pleased so far. The resident events are also nice. Wish laundry was free but can’t complain too much.

Many unfilled units in the building for a reason. More homeless people in the area every year. Construction noise outside and renovation noise inside, neither disclosed before they happen. Outdated HVAC system that only runs on 2 modes, cooling or heating, resulting in uncomfortable temperatures on upper floors during transition weeks. HVAC system also does not effectively remove steam in the bathroom or kitchen. Mailroom has a hard time keeping up with package deliveries. Unannounced water shutdowns. Treadmills and elevators inoperable for months at a time. Resident social events stopped for months without explanation. Undergrad parties and barking dogs. Not exactly luxury living.

I love living here at the Devonshire. The location is fantastic- right in downtown Boston and near all the train lines. The amenities are great, especially the gym, pool, and fitness classes. And I absolutely love the community here and making friends through the resident events.

About a week ago, a random construction project began, operating loudly only around midnight and lasting over three hours, typically until 2 or 3 AM each night. I reported the issue to Boston 311, but they were unable to locate the source or provide any details about the construction. The leasing office stated that they have no control over activities outside the building. Multiple tenants, including former tenants, have mentioned that they moved away because of the construction noise. I would agree that living in downtown Boston can become uninhabitable at times due to such disruptions, especially when no solutions are provided.

Amazing!!!! I love this location, if you don't have a car, you are close to all the Train lines (walking distance). The staff is so friendly and great! We used to have many resident events each month that have been cancelled for the past months (which everyone misses).

With perfect location, close by train station. Around with drugs stores and restaurants. It’s supper convenient for daily living. Can’t complain more about the service from concierge and management team. It’s one of the best moving experiences with the building.

Perfect. The staff here are very friendly and can help you a lot. It is very convenient to live here. You can go to the gym to work out, go to the lounge to study, and there will be someone to help you receive the package, so you don't have to worry about receiving the package. When your apartment needs maintenance, the staff will come to help you quickly.

We are coming up on 3 years of calling the Devonshire home, and we could not be happier living here. Being right in the heart of Boston has dramatically changed our lives, allowing us to easily access so many city neighborhoods and expand our experiences. We walk everywhere and have been able to take advantage of so many more opportunities all the time. The entire staff here at the Devonshire are amazing – professional, helpful, friendly, and kind!
