The Creole on Yorktown has been a wonderful experience the last several years. As time goes on, the management continues to uplift the building along with the tenants. There is much gratification received while living at such a peaceful, private, yet well knitted sense of community here. Everyone gets along well and there are many great things to look forward to while living at The Creole. It feels like a little slice of Heaven!!

I have been living at this property for more than 20 years. It had it’s up and down. Johnny is doing a good job upgrading everything.we need to make this property more cleaner. we need someone to always clean all the hallways in the buildings. and we need someone always walking throughout the property.

It’s been a while we had issues for the second term of our contract with Air conditioning not cooling. The team has clearly identified the issue and replaced entire AC unit. Jeff and team were so quick to call me. Thanks Jeff and Kathy. A quick future note on AC: specifically living on upper units tenants may feel hotter during heat waves. If ACs are not responding well then let’s try to change the system by going back to the time it was installed maybe 10 years? So that, kids and parents angry moms dads sleep well and get ready to recharge for next day life surprises. If we do this we help reduce some anxieties and lift up some energy instead. All said, but really appreciate your team decision on AC upgrade. FJ.

I am staying in creole on Yorktown for more than 4 years now.(previously in different apt) I loved the place because it was cost effective, location, it's amenities and quality services. But from the last year when new leasing companies took over, the service has been degraded a lot. 1. There is no cleanliness in common places. 2. Most of the time elevator is down and had complained multiple times . 3. Some of the people are not abiding any community rules like trash disposal, cleanliness or washing car inside the common parking space, keeping fire grill on patio but no strict action /fine has been taken. I have addressed such issues to concerned team but still no action has been taken. 4. There is no security here, fire in garage, main gates are kept often, outsiders are coming and trying to break cars an laundry machines and the list goes on. 5. Pools are not clean and most of the times are closed. 6. Maintenance takes time sometimes even many days. 7. Water leakage problem from roof top or bathroom. 8. No CCTV inside the campus. My trash can was also stolen when kept outside. 9. Due to lack of cleanliness , roaches are there. 10. People are smoking and throwing cigarettes here and there , marijuana smell in the evening time. I used to recommend this place to my friends and colleagues but now I won't do it again.

It hasn’t been a full month of moving in but I am enjoying the community & my neighbors! Everyone is very friendly the area is so convenient for my route to work. My move in day was fun as they had little treats & plants, staff is young but they’re high energy and professional!

This complex has increasingly gone downhill with management and maintenance staff not concerned. The resident entrance gate has 7 lights inoperable making for a very dark and dangerous entry after dark. I have informed the office through maintenance requests and office visits. The staff today told me there are over 100 maintenance requests. Please do better!

Do NOT rent at Creole of Yorktown! One thing or the other fails here, water leaks, boiler malfunctions, electrical issues having to shut down power and water constantly to fix. Gates do not work properly and cars are always getting broken into.

There is not enough parking spaces for residents, I have to park in the visitor parking for months now. They take too long to fix things around The Creole on Yorktown apartment complex. We have Roach infestation. Many people smoke in and outside their apartments. If you have asthma or any respiratory condition this is not the place to live. I have been battling asthma and allergies more since I live here. I am not renewing my contract.

If you are planning to rent here, and you have a vehicle, don't rent here. The property does NOT provide you with an assigned parking spot, there's an area, but with the amount of residents with multiple vehicles, there's not enough parking spaces

Creole on Yorktown is my first apartment I’ve lived at on my own. The office staff really help me feel informed about the community with their emails they regularly send out. The maintenance staff are always fast and helpful. The community is safer than most and all of my neighbors are kind and have become my friends. Which is exactly what I needed for my first time living alone. It really feels like home at Creole on Yorktown!

Honestly horrible so many things in my apartment came broken and they won't fix it even though I put in multiple work orders, the workers are rude and not helpful I would not recommend living here at all!

The Creole on Yorktown apartment are a ok place to live, I really like the beautiful landscaping and community. Someone needs to fix the laundry rooms, the washing and dryers need detailed cleaning, many of the machines are out of order. electricity problem. The apartment complex has water issues, sometimes no water, brown water comes through the pipes. water bills are really high. We pay more than we consume.

Old buildings. Beautiful property. Needs a lot of maintenance. There are minor plumbing and, electrical issues. Maintenance tries to resolve but are not really given the tools to properly address.

The Creole at Yorktown apartments are ok place to live if you patience and in need of a place beware of the noises, the apartment are not soundproof, so you can hear your neighbors every move. the apartments complex have a good amount of issues starting with the electrical issues, constant weed smells, decayed smells, rats. sewer water backups. The washing machines are often broken and dirty. Tenants are usually overcharge for the water bills, trash, sewer, and natural gas. The apartment also need to improve their security, to many strange people coming and going into the apartment complex. one reason many people move there is because the beautiful landscaping of the trees and plants.

The apartment location is perfect and the staff is reliable when you call during office hours. The maintenance staff finishes jobs in a timely manner and I would highly recommend any young professionals or early families to live in this safe complex.

The Creole at Yorktown has quite a bit to offer from plenty of closet space to nice neighbors. There is some construction going on in many patios and parking garages. The washrooms and gates could use some TLC, but it is manageable. The floors in the apartment building’s hallways require more frequent cleaning and do get slippery when enough moisture accumulates.

Creole on Yorktown is a great community to live at. Just a block away from The Galleria mall and many restaurants is a great place to be living in. Creole on Yorktown is truly a diamond in the rough. Not a community that you expect to see in the heart of the galleria area and quite frankly Houston. But when you enter, seeing the vast amount of nature, water features and just a homey vibe that really encompasses a more French Revere vibe really makes me feel like I am not in Houston anymore. And I love that.
