just no!!
Currently living here and have been here about 6 months and to say it in a nice way this place is not the vibe.the women in the front acts like she’s understating they aren’t your bathroom could be out of service for a whole month and they will not care at all the gym is always out of order the pool is always green and everything is just painted over any problems everywhere and I even spoke to a man that said his ceiling was on the ground for about 6 months and I saw it with my eyes save you money on top of all the issues theirs building is surrounded by homeless people right at the light and they walk up and down the street at all times of the day

Friends Apartment Had BLACK MOLD
My friend had black mold in her apartment unit. She went to talk to them about getting it moved. They treated her as an inconvenience because she asked them to do something about it. The told her that the maintenance man would fix the problem. He came an painted over it. She told them that it was still a problem and got cussed out. The maintenance man ask what did she want him to do about it? Paint over it again? She emailed after email and then Their final response was to release her from her lease instead of removing the mold.

Find Some place else !!
If I could leave no stars I would . Tub paint peels off make your shower look so unappealing. Our supposedly “upgraded” apartment unit had bed bugs and it took them 2 weeks to send somebody and when they did we were NOT home and they didn’t even leave a note saying what treatment was done and if they’ll be back again . Neighbors stomp all night long and people do not pick up after their pets . Gate works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t . They will send someone to fix any issues 3 days before the rent is due after you’ve been calling for weeks ! Very unprofessional and rude in the office when you come to ask questions of voice concerns..

DONT MOVE HERE
HORRIBLE!!!! Paint is peeling in bathtub, walls, and base boards. HAIR IS EVERYWHERE, maintenance never comes and when they do they knock hard and let themselves in with their maintenance key so there’s no trust or privacy!!! Leave a note or don’t enter the unit without notice or permission especially when rent is always paid on and before time!!!

Staff is horrible part 2
I have a bathtub and paint is peeling up every time I take a shower. of course, front office says they can't fix it until I pretty much move out. But there is a new "assistant manager" but he said he couldn't help me.. So why are you there? Who are you assisting if there is no manager. Next, parking. You can come home late in the night if you want to but you wont have a parking spot. Its like I have a curfew. I have to come home before its super later or ill be driving around looking for a parking spot waiting for someone else to leave. Next, invasion of privacy. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO ENTER YOUR HOME. No notice, no phone call. You get 2 knocks on the door in under 10 seconds then you hear them trying to open the door. What if I was in the shower? what if i was naked and was trying to put on clothes? What if I thought you were an intruder and I did something to them. But It happened again today. Some lady from a different company came to take pictures of the hole in my ceiling and my damaged walls. She said she was sent from the front office. okay, so you just enter my home? you don't call first letting me know? or at least give me notice the day before? I'm usually at work but today I was off. Goes to show that they do what they want here and they are very unprofessional.

Do not Move Please
This whole property is a disaster. Water leaks, Roaches, walls are bent,and everything in these apartments continues to break and damage. The worse part they never fix anything, they only come after you report the problem 5 times or more and when they do come, they never complete the repair. They repair guys do not speak English so you cannot communicate with them. Too many problems. Not a place to live with a family. They lie about everything. DO NOT MOVE. I will move from here too, as soon as my lease is up.

HORRIBLE
Do not move here It’s roach infested, I keep having them come out and spray but they are in the walls so instead of getting to the root of the problem they just put a band aid on it. Their maintenance people show up when they feel like it, they even marked the maintenance request complete but didn’t even come to the apartment. Management doesn’t care because they don’t have to live here. When I just had my baby my father had to go to the office and go off just for them to come tighten outlets like why are the outlets loose?? Ohh and from the jump I knew we were messed up. When we first moved in they literally shampoo the carpet the day that we are supposed to move in so guess what we couldn’t move in until the carpet dried. Then they never resurfaced the tubs so guess what that was extra days we couldn’t move in because the smell was crazy strong, due to the chemicals, but they don’t actually resurface it they just slap some not so good paint on there and it starts peeling within two-three months. lastly the parking is horrendous if you don’t buy a parking spot for 35 dollars a month it’s first come first serve. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!!!!!

This place is a trap
It was great for the first 3 months and then it was an apartment from hell for the remaining of the lease. There was tons of water leaking/flooding/drainage issues that management makes any excuse not to fix. They will say stuff like oh the water stains are just old paint coming through the wall and it just needs to be re-painted over. Water damage? Oh thats just a bad foundation. The counter is separating from the wall? No thats normal.. The management appears very nice and professional but the head management is being completely fake and isnt actually listening to what you are saying, he also doesnt care he is just pretending to. Whatever he says he will do to fix the problem, he is just bsing you and it will never happen. The only positive is that I kept my apartment clean and never had any roaches. They also have tons of community events but I feel like it just sugar coating the pile of crap the apartment complex is from the lack of maintenance and a bad lead manager. The rest of the people in the office seem like they are legitimately trying to help but the manager undermines everything. If they try to give you one of the properties by the pool/back gate just run. The whole place was flooded from an upstairs room and all they are going to do is paint over it to hide the damage and trap someone else in it for 6-12 months. The whole complex stinks of rotten wood on the inside.

I love living here
I been here since 2014 I love living here everybody in the office is real cool and so understanding of life issues they try to know and successfully handle all needs of tenants and I appreciate that more then anything Thanks Copper Lodge aYvette your The best

Highly recommended
I’ve been here for about two years. I love these apartments! I love how they remodeled them, love their walking closets and their two swimming pools! The staff is amazing. They take care of things in a timely manner. The manager Yvette , Jamila and Brenny are very professional and caring! They have been here since I moved in and always take care of me when needed. No issues whatsoever and always feel safe with security on site 24/7. If you’re looking for a place to call home I highly recommend Copper Lodge!

Great Management
I’ve lived in this area for quite some time and have seen this property grow so beautifully. Living here since the new management has been great. They have a great Maintenance staff who are always on top of everything. The office staff are amazing. I will be renewing for another year come February

Going on 4 years as a resident - Happy
I've been a resident here for 4 years and I can say we've had our ups and downs but more positives than negatives. One thing I know, if there was ever a doubt or question the staff was always happy and eager to help. When there was a problem in my unit the team would address it in a timely manner. A lot of my friends live here, I actually referred them and are all happy with their apartment. To be honest, the office and maintenance team are like family to me and my friend. Rent are going up, but I seriously don't move because I will never find another apartment and staff like them. Despite what ALL bad reviews say... You really have to see for yourself. - Jose Morales

Great Management
I have been a resident at Copper Lodgr since 2001 at the time it was called the Oaks. Because I am retired I have to watch my expenses sometime i felt like moving would be better but when Knightvest obtained the property in 2015 I have felt much better about my decision to stay. The management has improved so much problems are handled in a timely mannget. It is so easy express your needs and the maintenance staff is much more available every attempt to repair and elongated unwanted activity is made a priority. Iveth the manager jahmilla the assistant manager Breny the leasing and handy the maintenance are here t feels so much more like home than it ever has.

WOW!
Came here to view a unit here and had a great experience, the office was packed but they were still able to great us and offer refreshments. The pricing was a little out of our range but they did let us know they would if any price drops happened they would call us and Guess what!? they did, we moved in and everything has been wonderful ! cant wait till the summer to dive in their super clean pool! I recommend this place to anyone!

Terrible management
I have an issue already for 2 weeks and all i heard today is that the maintenance people are very busy working on ac units i understand that but i pay every month for an apartment too like all those tenants and expect to recive the same service if i pay the rent late i get charge a late fee like all those people on the list so if they can't keep up with the renters issues on the apartments hire more handy man I am very disappointed for waiting that long for the issue to be resolved and how i was greeted about the issue and other issues are that as time passes by there is more crimes in this apartments even at day time robbers with guns bracking into cars and houses and supposedly when i renewed they said they were going to increase the security's hours and nooo what they did is got rid of the security and they only come a few days and very little hours .. And it just keeps getting worse all the flies around the garbage because there is not enough cans in the area for the amount of apartments and the parking is limited too if you come late there is no parking at all ..

Good Apartment
Quiet apartments to live in. I've had maintenance issues that have been fixed rapidly. The office staff is willing to help as well. The inside of the apartments look nice and decent. So far I have no complaints about these apartments.

Ive Been Here a Minute
Ive been livin here for about 3 to 4 years. I cant recall when i moved in, but i do know the apartments before copper lodge were the Oaks. I can say with new management, and the overall satisfaction i get from the new staffing has been great. I get quality service when i can, I never have to worry about not getting called back, and even when the lines are busy they have some way to reach you back. Never lived by a pool before, but i love it! I cant swim as i please, and i never really wanted to work out until they put that new gym in. All that being said, Iveth the manager, and the three other leasing agents in there are incredible! - Gerald.

Old Building with Some Improvements
This complex is old. The new management company is doing a lot of cosmetic improvements - new siding, new "brick" accents, repainting, new internal/external light fixtures, new interior doors. In the past six months, the doors, windows, and the roofs of some buildings have been replaced. This is great, but our foundation was repaired six months ago and no one has come in to repair the cracks in the wall and sheetrock from this repair. The insides of the apartments are old. We have been told they are replacing the flooring and counters in new apartments, but what about the 30 year old showers that are falling apart? This is an old complex. The office staff is helpful, but there are problems getting maintenance dispatched quickly (with a correct work order). The "security" gate is permanently stuck in the "open" position. This is Houston, so there are bug problems. There are a few pools. The one up by the office has recently been redone, and it looks very nice. Parking can be a bit of an issue. It never seems like there are enough spaces for everyone.

I am sorry you are not enjoying the property improvements as much as the other residents, it does take time to come in and repair years of over due maintenance and upkeep that the property deserves. Knightvest Management has spared no expense to ensure that this renovation has addressed all issues top to bottom and there are even more improvements coming your way! If you need items addressed solely in your apartment home we would love to take a look at your issues as we have with many of the existing residents that are very happy where the live!!!

My nightmare
These people are the worst. They never return your phone call and when you call them they are always busy. I waisted a week and three days just to hear excuses. One minuet I am approved the next they lost all my info and requested that I fill out another application and bring my income statement again. I would call them everyday because the first was right around the corner just to be told on the 28th that my application wasn't approved and they process both money orders and I am still waiting for my refund and it's already a week has passed.

Broken into twice
I've lived here for about 3 years and have been broken into twice in a year's time. While the complex replaced the windows that were broken, they did not increase security until a year later when new management came in. Even then, the security is very loose on what they watch.
