      Review of a renew.

      Mmm over all I’d say my review is mixed at this point. Great office staff. Have built wonderful relationships and know who to go to for answers if I have any questions or concerns, etc. They really are a personable and supportive group. Maintenance is great. The turn around time on resolving any and everything I’ve had is quick. I am not a fan of the AI aspect of communication nor that some of the staff that serve in other capacities reside outside of office and there’s an email AI component to reach them. It’s impersonal but also can be frustrating when you would like a response or more personable experience. Each person within stays in the lane of their area and while that’s a good thing it can be frustrating. I’ve just renewed so I can say despite those grievances it’s home. I also have been able to move within the complex once and that process is very seemless. There are some events that the property hosts, we have food truck days and there is the cutest pet contest for you pet lovers. The area is close to major highways and not far from Medical Center. Great location come rodeo and concert time too.

      pretty disappointed

      I had an in person interview scheduled for noon today, but when I arrived the office was empty. I tried to call with no answer of course. it's a shame because the place looks nice. Leaving work now 5:00 p.m. still no response from the leasing agent. If you're serious about finding a place I would avoid wasting your time here.

      Living here is like being in a beautiful quiet small midtown city within a city. Youre a breath away from major freeways, NRG , Galleria, and numerous other popular areas but located blocks away to be peaceful.

      Connection is a wonderful place to live! I lived here for 3 years and have absolutely nothing but good things to say about the whole team from management to maintenance. The staff in the front office are so helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns, and maintenance is quick and super friendly for any problems you may have. Would definitely recommend it!

      The response time for maintenance is timely and they get the job done. The office workers are nice and patient when assisting multiple customers. They always keep us on notice of all things going on in the complex good or bad. I’ve already recommended The Connection to other possible residents and will continue to do so.

      I love this community. This is my 2nd time living here (left 1st due to personal circumstances), but obviously it is worth it if I came back. I definitely love the team, including maintenance. The management team and maintenance team are literally like going into Chick Fil A - everyone is happy & friendly. Not only that, issues are addressed in a very professional manner. The grounds are kept clean and tidy, and the the tenants keep the common areas clean, including ones with pets.

      Spent 15 months here! Greattttt complex

      I’m sad that I’m downsizing and trying to save money becuse otherwise I would’ve DEFINITELY stayed at Connection. They switched property managers mid year and I was concerned about the office staff changing but the kept the same three wonderful ppl in the office. Kathy the office manager is soooo awesome and understanding and kind and they’re always right by the phone. Maintaince issues gets fixed the same day! Residency stays clean! If there is a crime the entire apartment is notified and given safely reminders! They’re kind about approaching residents with rent payments and late ones. They’re quick to respond and keep the place in top shape. My only small complaint would be that the electric grills were told they would be fixed by the pool but never were and couldn’t be used. Other than that, I had an amazing year with them.

      Great management & beautiful apartment

      I moved in The Connection at Buffalo Pointe on a Saturday sometime in March 2016. They moved me in that day in a small 1 bedroom, but then was able to move me in the larger one bedroom 3 months later. Kathy & all the ladies have treated me great & had the upmost customer service. Very professional group of ladies & a great team. Anytime I had an issue, it was solved within hours or at least the next day. It saddens me to leave The Connection, but I have out growned my apartment & have found a larger one at a different property. I highly recommend this property to anyone. It will be a great experience & you will be very happy. Thank you ladies for everything you have done for me. Joseph B.

      This is by far the best apartment I have ever had in terms of quality.

      I love the layout and design of the apartment units. This is by far the best apartment I have ever had in terms of quality. All of the amenities and fixtures are in great condition, including: washer/dryer, stove, a/c unit, counters, carpet, walls, paint, doors, lighting, fans, linoleum. The design of the entire apartment complex feels very modern and minimalistic (which I really like). The color scheme is great too. I usually feel like I need to do a lot to an apartment to hide the ugly windows and drab walls, but the unit is so appealing cosmetically that I didn't do much. I especially like the texture of the walls and the overall design of the apartment units. I feel very safe at Buffalo Pointe. The area surrounding the apartment feels a bit rough, but the gate system and contracted security company makes me feel much better (although they are legally not allowed to call him a security guard I think. There is a guy in a very official looking uniform in a very official looking car doing very official looking stuff.) Some areas for improvement: 1) Parking is limited, especially during peak hours. I'm not sure how to improve that since there isn't really any area for expansion. 2) Package pickup can be challenging. I appreciate the front desk service for package pickup - it is a great amenity to have, but it would be very helpful if there was a solution for after-hour pickups or extending office hours during the work week. (For example- I work Monday - Friday and leave for work before the office opens and get home typically after the office is closed, which means I usually have to wait until the weekend to be able to pick up a package. 3) The noise level is a bit loud. I can usually here noise from the parking lot outside my window and the walls are a bit thin (or I just have a loud neighbor).

      Best Place Ever!

      *******************ROACH INFESTED APARTMENTS. DO NOT MOVE HERE*******************

      I find many of these reviews in stark contrast to the general consensus of my neighbors. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I moved to the Connection in 2011/2012. I was the first tenant in my apartment and the complex WAS primarily filled by young professionals. There has since been a MAJOR shift in the type of residents who live here. The young professionals have suddenly been replaced a poor management, a bunch of college students, non-residents, and people who could care less about CLEANLINESS or how their filth affects other tenants. This year I suddenly began to see ROACHES in my apartment. Obviously, it was not me so I immediately reported the issue to the office. I BEGGED THEM TO INVESTIGATE. They did nothing for MONTHS. Finally, after months of complaining and the prevalence of roaches increasing, I was fed up. I began doing my own investigation. I started coming home during work so that I could meet with the exterminator. I asked everybody questions until I finally got some answers. It took some months, but a couple of weeks ago, I discovered the truth. The unit below me is INFESTED BY ROACHES. If you go outside of the unit, you can even see dead roaches by the door. The problem is so bad that me and my neighbors now have roaches. Although management could have investigated this issue, they did NOTHING until these people moved out 1 month ago. The only reason I found out the truth is because of my independent investigation; management continues to deny there is even an issue. IT’S SHAMEFUL. Once I discovered the truth, I immediately put in a notice to vacate. I asked them to replace my furniture and pay to have my clothes washed since I cannot take anything to my brand new place. They won’t even call me back because it’s clearly not important to them. This is the WORST experience of my life! Prior to living here, I had never seen a roach in person. My apartment is immaculate because I am a neat freak. Now, I have seen roaches in my kitchen, bathroom, on walls, in my purse, etc. I cannot even have company because I am terrified that a roach my come out. Before I get dressed for work, I have to stand outside and shake out my clothes, purses, shoes, etc. The sad part about all of this is that nobody cares despite the fact that this all happened because they didn't care to investigate my reports. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. NOBODY should have to pay $1,200 to live with roaches. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could.

      What Living Lavishly is Truly Like

      The Connection on Buffalo Pointe is everything you'd want and need in your new home. I'm honestly sad that I will not be living there in the future due to the rent increase. My roommate and I paid about $741/month for a 2 bed/2 bath, and it was amazing. The kitchen was spacious and the appliances were all new. We had wood in the kitchen and bathroom areas, and nice carpet in the rooms. My bathroom/closet were large:) & I never saw bugs!The gym and pool area were always well kept. We had an alarm system in our apartment which was convenient and the gate key was pretty high tech. No lie, these apartments were in a great location for a great price. I hope I can find something better than it for a decent price.

      Connection at Buffalo Pointe

      Beautiful on the outside! Great staff that helped us get an apartments and at a deal. Maintence comes fast and fixes everything efficiantly. Great landscape and security. However we pay a pretty penny for such small space. The patio can't fit chairs comfortably. No dining room, small kitchen, and small living room. Not really worth the price but nothing living inner loop is.

      Favorite Place To Live

      I loved The Connection on Buffalo Pointe. Rent wasn't too high. The location was safe and close to everything in the Houston metroplex. My friends loved coming over because everything was brand new. Great place to live and great management.
