The Greater Heights area of Houston comprises a large, mostly- residential neighborhood just minutes northwest of Downtown. The upscale homes and close proximity to the city center (plus easy access to three major interstate highways) make this a highly desirable location for commuters seeking the tranquility of the suburbs without sacrificing convenience.
Scores of historic houses date back to the area’s heyday as a popular vacation getaway for Houston’s elite in the 19th century, and today they contribute to the area’s timeless atmosphere. The diverse local dining and entertainment scenes cater to the varied tastes of the residents, and the popular cafes and shops along 19th Street give the feel of a much smaller town than a community at the heart of the 4th biggest city in America.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Brittany Place Apartments
I have lived here for almost a year and it has been more than peachy. The maintenance amd the front office are available whenever you need them. They answer questions and they get the work done. Haven’t had any bug or mold problems. The pool looks spotless every day. I love the neighborhood! Walking my dogs around the complex is super nice. The AC works well and the walls aren’t thin. Will be sad to leave this complex once I most to a new city. Also, the patio is so nice! Super spacious and so much green. If you’re like me and need greenery, this is the place for you!
I love my apartment. I have lived here for almost 3 years and have never had a problem. The bad reviews you see here are probably from people who didn't pay their bills on time and are disgruntled. When something breaks it's fixed....
Went up on my rent 100.00 after 1st year, 40.00 2nd year and is going up again this year
It has a serious roach problem. Every time someone moves out, the roaches come out and take over everything. They don't tell you that the exterminator will not spray without putting the cats in a box. They have three pools, but they were not open until the very end of August.
I moved into my apartment over a year ago due to a rent increase of $200 from my previous community where I was the 2nd or 3rd longest tenant at the community. I had lived there 8 years and considered it my home. I knew I was moving into an older, amenity shortage, community, but I did not know the response of management when there is a problem in the place you now call home. The roach infestation is horrid and, according to our lease and to be addressed, as we pay for pest control with our rent, but I was told by the office I could go out and buy my own products and they would take the cost off my rent. There are people dealing drugs, people living in apartments you know are not on the lease, laundry room is unsafe and machines not working or maintained, no control of pets being leashed or "pet areas", and when you call for a maintenance problem, it usually takes 2-3 calls to get the maintenance to do any repairs needed. I lived without a hot water knob in my shower for 2 weeks(used a pair of pliers). Having been in the apartment management field for many years and managed what is called Class A to Class D communities, I know a lesser rent community can be managed and resident request can be handled as well as a Class A community. In many cases, as in this one, the management forgets who is paying their salary......the tenants....and they need to get out of their office and take a look around both day and night!
