Full of roaches everywhere and the pool and its surroundings are not clean can see roaches in the pool and even in the surroundings. And near the buildings 24, 25, 26, 27 the water is staying there after the rain full of roaches and not cleaning that side of the place frequently and I can see roaches in the hall way of every blocks first floor. The path way is broken in between 25th and 26th building because of that the water is staying there. Please clean that place often to keep it clean. And Can’t you guys spray the pest control all over the outside to get rid of them for once please.

This place is filthy and management refuses to do anything about replacing the dumpster which has been broken almost a year. They have to shut off the water to the complex every other month without actually repairing anything. The property smells like hot garbage. One of my neighbors is allowed to dump his cat litter outside of the building. It's foul.

My apartment was not ready to move in on the first day of my lease. The leasing office said they were still installing carpet and cleaning the apartment. I could not move in. I was not able to do a walk through before the start of the lease.

Positive: 1. Green, lots of trees and I like the sound of cicadas. 2. Bright 3. Location is close to running trails, groceries and a few restaurants. 4. Big gym with fair amount of equipment (enough for those who just want to stay healthy) Negative: 1. Extremely poor or non existence inspection done by Avana prior to tenant move in 2. Maintenance downplayed issues raised by tenant 3. Maintenance leave place dirty when they leave 4. Pedestrian gate often not locked (although closed)

We looked at many apartments before choosing Avana Eldridge. On the first viewing we know this was the one we wanted. The staff was professional and friendly. Living here for more than 4 years. Location of the property, proximity to the stores, restaurants, wide roads inside the property and majorly the big brown trees are the plus points. Loved staying here really.

We moved into our apartment and quickly discovered a severe roach infestation, despite being assured the unit would be clean and ready. Since reporting the issue on , we’ve received minimal support from staff, have not been able to speak with the property manager, and pest control efforts have been slow and ineffective. The living conditions have made the unit uninhabitable—we’ve been forced to sleep in our car or pay for a hotel, causing financial and health hardships. Due to the unlivable conditions and lack of timely resolution.

I like living here at Avana Eldridge. It's quite, pet friendly, the property looks really nice, and you sometimes forget that you live in Houston. Everything is close by, grocery stores, gas stations, fast food, strip malls. Also the walking trails near by. I also like the different food trucks that come for food truck night. The different events from adopting house plants, to having your pictures taken with Santa. Far enough away from the craziness of the city, but close enough to go out and have fun. Avana Eldridge is a very nice place to live.

Location is good, front desk people are good. Maintenance sucks and need regular follow ups. Classic apartments are way older and urgently needs upgrade as things are falling apart.

While my time living in the complex was generally good, I was hit with duplicate and excessive charges once I moved out. I was misled (three times) into believing that I could return the keys a few days before the contract ended, as long as I paid rent and utilities through the contract’s end. This led to penalties. Additionally, they attempted to charge me for duplicated fees. Be cautious — Do not trust any instructions unless they are in writing or voice recorded. I will never live in this complex or any administered by Greystar ever.

I am a retired law enforcement officer & US Army Veteran (20 years). My wife and I have our approval letter for buying a home. Our credit and income are good and verifiable, but we need time to search as we are out of state and moving back home(Houston) from North Carolina. First, I attempted to speak with a literal representative at the physical location to get a more personal feel about the staff there (since we are out of state), but that was impossible. However, we liked the location/area, and the prices are also “fair.” Therefore, we applied online last week. Since then, I have called multiple times for updates and tried to talk to someone, but they have an answering service that takes their calls. I have yet to receive a single phone call back, an email, or any legitimate communication (other than automation). In my experience, this is unheard of and a horrible way to conduct business with real estate-related matters. I am deeply disappointed with the level of service we have received. Can you imagine trying to sell a house this way? It wouldn't happen. Therefore we took our business to another company which was very happy to have it! The poor service we experienced was a significant factor in our decision. From what I have read from the reviews, this is a nightmare scenario, especially in an emergency.

I just moved in a few weeks ago and I love these apartment homes! They are a great price for the location which is central and perfect for commute purposes. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, green and beautiful. It’s safe for a single woman like me and perfect for families too! The apartments themselves are spacious, stunning, clean, safe and private. I love the amenities: the gym in particular is amazing. Easy to walk to, great machines, spacious and communal fun space. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Avana that is helpful and welcoming!

Avana has been a wonderful complex. I have had 0 issues that have gone unresolved. The leasing staff are very pleasant to work with and I never have any issues receiving my packages. Maintenance is always on top of work orders. Lawn care is manicured weekly and the community is always clean. Avana is a great community to reside at.

Do not move here. Management will lie at every turn and, when they are not lying, their communication is extremely poor. After I had lived there a week, they actually sent someone visiting apartments into my apartment with a master key.

Nothing was resolved or fixed out of the 3 work orders that were submitted within half a years time. There is also dead car parked in front of building 27 with a flat tire which has been there for over a month now. I'm highly frustrated with this community, it has definitely declined since our move in 4years ago. Now it has became a junk yard for undrivable cars and the area is trashy and spider infested.

This property is approx 26-28 years old. Lots of maintenance and electrical issues. It is definitely lacking the care it requires to compete with all the newer properties available in Houston/Katy area. My opinion!

Avana community is good to stay but the management is least bothered on issues reported and not actioned in timely manner. They lost track of cleanliness for past 10 months and corridors are smelly. They concentrate to clean in building which are close to leasing office only

The staff is always really cool to deal with including maintenance. Great pool in the summer and you can even take polar plunges like I do. Good place to live.
