Great move in, poor move out :/

They have roaches in apartment building and pest control doesn't work, they also charge you 50$ if they find Raid or any repellents. Roaches are literally the first thing listed on Maintenance website. I moved they made up $200 charges & fee's. Loud and noisy neighborhood and really just disgusting rental office. Don't go unless you have NO WHERE ELSE. You'll end up paying them 2x the cost of moving in.

Not the place to be, they delete bad reviews

The place is ok but in the 8 months we’ve been here all of our problems have been “brushed to the side” Is the best way to put it. Moving in we had a flea infestation with no previous pets, leasing office swore we brought them but the neighbors filled us in how the previous owners lived… moving in please know that you get one assigned parking spot. That means if someone permanently parks their car that they don’t use in one of those spots and they’re three other cars and motorcycle in the other guest spots then you simply cannot have guest and the apartment complex will say there is nothing they can do about it. The parking situation is bad enough that people move away. Be warned. Also make sure you’re always dressed, I woke up to maintenance in the house, thank goodness my girlfriend wasn’t here. You go into the office on a day that they’re open and no one is anywhere to be found or answering any phones all day. The only reason I haven’t broken my lease is because it’s almost up and this bad experience took my out of the renters game

Stay Away!!!!

Do NOT move here!!!!! Listen up folks… this has been the worst apartment experience ever. In the summer time they let the grass get up so high my dog doesn’t even want to move around the backyard. You would think especially with holidays ,such as July 4th, they would keep it clean but no. The grass everywhere was so high and calling the leasing office was no help, so we paid a neighbor to cut the grass in our fence smh. They are even worse in the winter. They let ice accumulate the sidewalks making it difficult to enter out our home. They didn’t even attempt to put salt down or clean it until we had to continue to call the office. Trash is literally everywhere so pest is out of control. Crime has increased in the area and its always someone getting murdered. They have the nerve to increase the rent $400 without any updates made to the townhouse or community . I’m just waiting for the floor to our kitchen to cave in at this point .We put in a request to maintenance months ago and no one ever came to fix it. Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother checking out this place!!! You have been warned.

WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER

Every single thing about this apartment complex is terrible. Staff is very unhelpful, clueless and unresponsive. Maintenance is kind of on time? The construction is very low quality, can hear my neighbors and their children VERY well, mosquitos and mice all over the complex. It doesnt even suffice it to say this place is absolute trash.

Huge rate increase after one year

I love the look of the property but unfortunately the townhouses conditions have fallen way short of explanations. The 15.7% increase ($158) after one year has put our family in a really bad spot, our son is in school and moving would be a hardship. They did offer us a $20 cheaper rent but it's still an unheard of price for the amount of broken appliances and not well fitting windows and doors. I am disappointing in myself for falling for their marketing and allowing us to be put in this hard spot.

Not worth 4 stars - horrible leasing staff and quality of townhome

I really don’t understand why this property has 5 stars. I mean, it’s not the worst, but the quality of the townhomes and the quality of the leasing staff brings it down all the way. I’m very convinced they give incentives to those who post a positive review- I’ve definitely been approached by rental properties before so they can meet a quota. They don’t deserve 4-5 stars at all. It doesn’t seem authentic. Anyway, if you want to get ahold of the leasing office, your best bet is to storm up there. If you call the resident line - they never answer. If you call future resident line - immediate answer. They are neglectful to those who actually pay money to live there. It took 2 months for them to come latch a hole in the kitchen wall. How did the hole get there you ask? An ANIMAL chewed its way into the kitchen. It never came out of the hole - but you could hear it crawling around and we would temporarily patch it with bags. The animal would pull it into the wall for nesting. After 2 full months of complaints - they patch it and ask “do you need pest control?” I DONT KNOW- DO I???? They also don’t send out notices for when you move out. I’ve always received courtesy notices and detailed information about pricing if I were to renew lease or stay until the end of month. I sent in my notice and come July - they ramped up the last 2 weeks by $400. I asked for them to push my move out date to my actual lease end date - and they said no because “we sent out the statements already”. BUT they acknowledged that someone should have told me, but it’s “in my lease” and to pretty much get over it. There’s high turnover in that office so I’m sure it’s hard to get anything done. But, all in all, this property sucks and I really don’t have anything nice to say about it. They are also rude unless you’re a future resident. The current property manager is a brat and needs to work on her customer service skills. She treats her leasing agents like crap and she’s inauthentic. Don’t move here!

BED BUGS

This apt looks beautiful in photos, but our experience is the worst. We have been living here for almost 4 months, during the first month our stay here we found bed bugs in our room, we reported it to the office and up until this day we are still in treatment for the bed bugs, from April until today, and exterminator (at least we feel it this week) they decided to ask us for the apartment, we have 30 days to find another place to live, when the bed bugs did not appear again for about 3 weeks, ... so, BE CAREFUL !!!

Comments: This is an extraordinary place to live.

The homes are clean, well maintained and a wonderful staff of people. Beautiful clean amenities. Any maintenance requests are responded to immediately and competently.One of the best locations in the West End. The staff is a polite amicable and professional, and always willing to help with any situation. Nearby is everything conveniently located, Malls Groceries Stores and Libraries. Abbington West End deserves a 5 Star rating without doubt.

Great staff!

This staff is truly amazing! I've worked with 3 different people on 3 different occasions and ALLL 3 were extremely helpful! They didn't make me feel like any of my questions were annoying and etc. Which was great for me especially when moving into a new place and area because of course you have a bunch of questions. Very patience and understanding on my situation with no pressure at all. They make you feel like you're at home without even signing a lease! Looking for a nice affordable place to live and call home, Abbington is definitely the way to go!

I Love living here in abbington west end apartment.

They have a get staff that is very helpful and seem to be on the ball in helping everyone feel good about living here. They also have a new employee named matt that is on the ball. And is a great all around person.

great customer service

The Staff both at the office and maintenance department are great. Maintenance may not always be able to fix the problem but the people skills make up for it. Although the structure is old the grounds are kept nicely, and the siding hides the age well.
