Bedrooms are “shotgun style” (a layout common in New Orleans) meaning bedrooms connect, requiring that you walk through both bedrooms to access the kitchen. Currently, one bedroom has been converted to a dining room/office, making it the perfect apartment for a couple or working professional looking for extra space. Backyard was renovated in summer of 2022 and now includes a privacy fence and an upper level deck that is easily accessible to this unit. Yard includes a hammock and a large table perfect for outdoor game nights with friends. Located right across from the Fairgrounds, this apartment is in a safe, quiet area and within blocks of a great local coffee shop, bars and restaurants. A bit more walking takes you to a local grocery store, beautiful Bayou St. John and City Park. Major hospitals within 1-3 miles. All utilities (electricity, water and WiFi) are included in the price of rent. A personal (non-shared) washer and dryer are provided in the basement of the unit. Pets are permitted on a case-by-case basis.
