A spacious apartment (about 1100 square feet) in a super energy efficient two-family-unit house (owner-occupied) with solar panels on the roof is available on 10/1/2022. NOTE: This apartment has a central AC and became very energy efficient after it underwent the second renovation in 2013. As a result, gas usage went down by almost half. Make sure you check how much gas or oil bill you would need to pay in the winter when choosing your apartment! This apartment has: - Two bedrooms and one bathroom - Eat-in kitchen (with a new dishwasher), dining room and living room - New front-load washer in the kitchen - Newly renovated front and back porches - Shared back yard with lots of trees and privacy during the summer season, - Large coin-operated cloth dryer and huge storage space in the basement, - Two car parking spaces on the driveway, - Great natural lighting - Energy efficient (AFUE 96) gas furnace and central AC system - Well-insulated wall and windows (all energy-efficient double-pane windows plus storm windows) - Very dry basement due to significant amounts of insulation in the basement with triple pane windows All rooms have hardwood floors except the kitchen and bathroom which have nice tile floors. Water/sewer costs are included in the rent. The annual average monthly utility bills (gas and electric) from the previous tenants were about $70 - $100 (with an average monthly gas bill of $55). The highest monthly gas bill in the coldest winter month is about $100 (Note: a regular apartment of this size typically pays $200 - $250 in the coldest month).
