Quiet, super friendly staff and convenient to all sporting events. Traffic I thought was going to be horrible but to my pleasant surprise it’s not that at all
Overall I am enjoying my stay here. I would like to see a silently better system to engage guests after hours that have a vehicle. Meaning while I want a secure garage and entry and exit process, perhaps being able to open remotely and monitor who opens the garage, would be more resident and visitor friendly.
For the most part, living here has been great. The apartment features a large kitchen which was a non-negotiable for me. The community and location feels safe and secure as well. Really my only drawbacks are the smell of weed and smoke. For a non-smoking community, I shouldn't have to deal with these scents. Additionally, the grills have been non-functional since I moved in. Other than that, it's been a great place to live.
I haven’t officially moved into 1414 Texas yet, but I’m confident in my choice after touring three times. Christina, Allison, and Brent in the leasing office have been warm, welcoming, and patient. After nearly a decade in The Heights, I toured several downtown complexes and found 1414 Texas stood out for its clean, safe parking, updated amenities, great location, and friendly community. I’m 40, single, and feel safe here. METRO’s nonstop bus from the GRB to Bush Airport is a huge bonus. I’m excited to start this next chapter at 1414 Texas!
Great location, great staff, well-kept grounds. The only thing is it can be loud on weekends if your apartment faces the street, but the apartment itself is pretty quite overall.

Great location and the apartments are very comfortable. You are located right in the heart of houston. A huge plus is that the apartment's bedroom blocks out a lot of sound so you rarely hear neighbors or downtown itself.

Everyone was welcoming from the moment I called in to do a last minute tour the process with the leasing office was smooth and easy from the touring to the application process. Brent gave me a tour around which the complex is very well maintained from inside and out.

Throughout the year I've been here… 1. The ceiling above my bedroom door cracked i put in a request to get it fixed and no one did anything about it 2. I had to get a new drier when i moved in and right before my lease was up the drier went out again… 3. I left my car here for 2 weeks when i went out of the state and when i came back someone i guess was mad that i left in that “spot” for to long and left a note on my car “be more considerate of others” and then keyed my car and put a nail in my tire… when I contacted the front office they explained there was nothing they could do because their cameras only went back 5 days so i was basically “screwed” and had to handle it myself. 4. The microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and bathroom fan all had to have service done to them and i was only here for 1 year. 6. Don’t lose your key; it is hell to try to get ahold of anyone that can actually help you and god forbid if you contact the staff after hours to get help; ok end of review

10 out 10 everything I need and wanted. Community is quiet, clean and very secure considering the area. Amenities are always available and just a great place to hang out and chill with friends and a drink

Great location although it can be noisy evenings if your apartment is street side. Friendly managers and great maintenance staff. Parking garage layout works well for everyone.

Location is great and maintenance and management staff are very friendly. The building itself is not as well maintained as it was when we first moved in. Common areas are not always clean, there have been issues with other tenants smoking that have taken too long to resolve, and elevators and garage doors are often not working. Needs more attention to regular and preventative maintenance for the rent price

I have truly enjoyed living at 1414! It is an amazing location and has great staff. We are always helped quickly when we need something. Amenities are always kept clean as well.

I updated my rating to 4 since cleaning & maintenance are more consistent & they recently replaced the security team. I enjoy living here because it’s usually a quiet community. Occasionally there are pool parties that go late but it’s just people having fun. There are a few annoyances, but to be fair, one of the biggest nightmares—the parking garage—is outside mgmt's control, but it’s something prospective residents should consider. There’s one entrance, which opens automatically for residents but nonresidents often block it. They’ll sit idling or even park in front of the gate, preventing anyone from entering. Once someone even left their car parked at the entrance, which accumulated a line of about 3–4 cars. Some people ended up just opting for street parking at that point. I waited over 20 min for them to return then called the towing company listed for the building but they said they couldn’t tow it. The blockages cause backups onto La Branch. In general, I do enjoy living here.

Overall good experience. Apartment maintenance request are taken care of very quickly and the staff is nice. No noise from neighbors, good parking experience, and packages never go missing.

Christina was great! I’m happy with my new home. I love the views from the balcony facing Minute Maid and discovery green is only a 5 min walk! The area is perfect.

Overall, a very good experience - overall a great staff and nice building. The one shortfall is that some building repairs have taken a LONG time. An important door that goes to the garage was broken and unusable for like 2.5 months.

Good location, nice apartment units. Nice balconies and really tall ceilings. Walls aren’t too thin. Parking garage is nice and big but could be maintained a little better (adding garbage cans)

1414 Texas Downtown has been home for the past 2 years and I can not express how much I love living here! The location is central and walking distance to key attractions (minute maid park, discovery green,the symphony,Houston ballet,wortham center and numerous restaurants). The entire staff and crew are amazing and always ready to help in whatever is asked/ needed..The amenities are amazing as well as the safety/security of the whole facility.

Building has great infrastructure is close to most things in downtown and has several restaurants and parks nearby. Also has a good Catholic Church close by and lastly the staff is amazing.

1414 is in the heart of a great city, lots to do, so much value living here. The building is full of amenities if you work from home you never have to leave you can even walk outside and there’s everything at the tip of your fingers. The views are breathtaking, the staff is great. The surrounding areas are easy to commute to. There’s no place like 1414, I love it here.
