About 1012 Dart St Houston, TX 77007

The historic property was built circa 1890 and features original 14-foot ceilings, pressed-tin walls and ceilings, and 100-year-old oak floors. Fully furnished with 1-bedroom (queen bed), huge private bath with tin ceilings, and an American Leather ridiculously comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofa (seriously - look it up), this charming house will delight you during your entire visit and includes comfortable amenities. Enjoy live music at the Continental Club, watch sporting events, attend events, and head down to Galveston via extremely convenient access to downtown Houston and freeways. We're also super close to Buffalo Bayou park for running and outdoor activities. Btw- I'm flexible, and so if you would prefer to convert the dining room (which is currently occupying the second bedroom) into a bedroom instead, happy to do that :) Note that the unit has its own full sized washer, dryer, and dishwasher, and this is an entire house - for some reason the website will only let me select 'condo', but this is a separate, small cottage.

As one of the last of the six historic Houston wards, the Sixth Ward neighborhood maintains old-time charm but embraces contemporary lifestyles. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1978, the Sixth Ward has the largest amount of Victorian houses in the city. There are industrial-chic high-rise apartments and modern townhomes available for rent as well.
