Sketchy
I toured the property a couple months ago and there’s a bunch of notices from the city on the front of the leasing office which the agent refused to explain, the complex seems run-down, and they were very shady about not showing a unit in the size I was interested in. I would be cautious about this place.

Brandy has been so helpful since the very beginning. Moving is such a high stressful thing for me due to my crippling anxiety, and brandy was on top of it with all the paper work and helping us find the perfect apartment in our range and comfort. She also helps me every time i come to the office with any questions and lets me what what can be done. When I take my night walk I can see her working in the office after hours. From what I can see she puts so much time and devotion into her job. The maintenance people are very hard working especially with such a big property. They are friendly and try they're hardest to do maintenance request in a timely manner. I can say this is the first apartment where I have live comfortably.

DO NOT RENT - Crime, Pest, Terrible Service
Extremely terrible complex with a careless management and very rude office employees! The galleria area is a nice neighborhood with many nice apartment complexes. If you have any other option other than Yorktown choose that! During my 12 months residence at Yorktown Apartments we experienced at least 8 tire thefts and one apartment break-in! The management does not care and does not see itself responsible for this lack of security! The entrance and exit gates are not working and left open during the day and night at least once a week, enabling anyone to enter the complex at anytime! The complex is also bug infested with hundreds on roaches living in most apartment units. The complex’s Pest control activity is also no use, I used them twice in one year and it was no good! Eventually I had to take initiative for my own apartment and use roach killer spray in my unit! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! You will regret within a few months if you fall for their prices and Advertisment, as I did!

Too much crime!!
I have been living at this complex since April 2021. The complex seemed nice at first but the charm wore off quickly. In October my motorcycle was stolen from one of the parking garages. I was able to determine a twenty minute window of when it happened as well as identifying the suspect, his accomplice, and his vehicle. Even with this information and the presence of cameras at the entrance and exits of the parking garage and the property itself, management said they were unable to see my motorcycle or the suspect's vehicle leave the property. Then last night, the wheels on my vehicle and three others were stolen. Criminals seem to think this property is fair game and I no longer feel safe living here.

Rats and Roach place
German roaches are a tougher type of roach to exterminate because they can move between units or throughout a duplex easily. So in my apartment I called a pest service and get one unit treated but roaches remain in other locations — so they can return to that already treated area. Likewise, wasted lot of money in rodent treatment particularly in Kitchen and is not as likely to be effective unless each unit is at least inspected. A rat or mouse is inside one area but a hole or access point is in a different section of that joined structure. This is Multifamily Residences with Insect and Pest Issues

Horrendous apartment
This place not even diserve a single star. All the good reviews you are seeing, either from the folks working in the office or from the management hired PR agencies. This place is infested with roaches. Apartment apartment break ins are very common here. Last month itself, thieves has stolen, car wheels from 3 cars. Couple of months back, there was a shooting in apartment complex. The apartment is very old and badly designed. So many people has lost their cars in basement parking area. As soon as you have some rain, the basement parking area gets flooded with rain water and if you are new to the apartment, most probably you do not know about this and you will loose your car in the flood water. Bad management and even badder manager. The current manager Sagar is not fit for the job. They have already so many vacant rooms and sometime I feel more tenant's are leaving because of this manager. Many of my friends already left and I am just waiting for my lease to get ended.

worst apartment ever
Roaches makes it very difficult for us. I have asked for help, and despite even getting a private pest control, this is out of control. The building that we live in is not safe with the Marijuana smell, and dogs bark in the hallway 24 hours a day. We have seen several suspicious people and even homeless people in and out of our building with no mask and always coughing. Moreover, there have been several car burglaries recently, and it makes it very unsafe here. I terminated my contract and they charged 2 months I paid but I hired attorney to sue them due to my health and safety issue over there

Great property and helpful staff
Moved into the apartment about a month ago and we love it! Mona is amazing! She guided us through the application process and has been super helpful every time we see her. The complex is well kept, quiet, and close to everything you'd ever need. Highly recommend! -H

Everything about this property is a disaster
First about their apartment. I moved into an apartment with cockroaches. The lighting is not really satisfying and there are a lot of gaps between the floor and the wall. They have sent pest control over and viper which is a stronger medication for pest but still nothing worked. There was a roach fell on my head from the fan yesterday. And also, my packages are always not delivered or delivered to leasing office or the mailbox which is hell confusing. I have to check three different places for one package. Second, their representatives are not actively trying to help. When I was trying to lease, they took days and days to check small things even thought I have sent the documentations they need ASAP and I was in a great rush to move in. After I signed the lease, I asked for he leasing contract which also never arrived in my email. And their attitude suddenly changed after I told them I wanted to terminate the lease because of the roaches problem. They became very impatient and were always in a bad mood, obviously not trying to solve my problems. When I told them I have roaches problems and I couldn’t deal with that and I couldn’t sleep at night, they laughed and said I was dramatizing which I considered really rude. They also have been consistently calling me during work and therefore I have to clean my schedule for them and go to their leasing office after work. Third, their leasing system is really not complete. I signed the lease partly because of their promotions for the first two months. However, I didn’t see it in the system when I was trying to pay. They told me the promotion is just not in the system and now I have to pay for the late fee. To remove that, I have to give them a check while my bank is not even in Texas. This is the worst leasing experience I could ever imagine. Don’t do this property even though it’s cheap, you will freak yourself out. I am not exaggerating at all. Everything I said was the thing I am experiencing right now. Planning to move and pay this place thousands of dollars ?? good luck to all future residences.

Hi I lived in yorktown Apartment Recently when we turn on the heater we have smoke in the apartment so we Called and talk to Jessi. The apartment manager and she replaced The unit. And get everything done very Quickly I very happy the manager is very nice. We should have more manager like Jessi. Thanks

Love living here so far!
I just recently moved in but I absolutely love it so far. My move in experience was very easy and the apt is very nice and very close to the galleria where I work which makes it easy to walk to work.
